The electrician and his helper were polite, friendly, and did excellent work. However, I was bit taken aback by the price of the work. After the Angie's list deal, my net cost was around $400. I expected the total job would be around $400.00. Nevertheless, dealing with Allgood was a positive experience and I will probably use them again.

It was fine. They came inside of a week. I wasn't sure if I needed it or not but I purchased it. They were very timely. They came and did what was necessary. It took them a little longer than I thought that it might mean that they did a little extra work as well.

Allgood was fantastic. Very pleasant and professional on the phone when scheduling. Rich (electrician) was very prompt, courteous and quick working. No issues at all. Great experience!

They wanted to charge nearly 4 times ($680) what other Angie's List providers charged. I used another Angie's List contractor who charged $190 to install a bathroom ceiling vent.

Very nice and professional. Had to return 2 additional times to troubleshoot and finally repair leaking tub. While he was at my home I inquired about repairing loose spout and 2sink pop ups in a second bathroom. He took less than a minute to perform the additional services and charged me an additional 100.00 dollars. I guess that s what I get for not asking about cost ahead of time. We had already discussed cost of original repairs. ALSO...no supplies were used for the 100.00 additional services. I would consider using Allgood again BUT I would clarify all cost prior and not assume.

We requested maintenance service for a tankless water heater, diagnosis of an error code and replacement of our sump pump's check valve with a silent model. Allgood's guy showed up when promised and got to work. Unfortunately he didn't have all the equipment he needed to diagnose the problem requiring a second visit on another day. He flushed out our tankless water heater and explained what the problem with the error code was...or so he/we thought. He diagnosed it as a problem with the gas pressure from the AGL supply line which ultimately would require replacement of the meter. However it turns out, this was at best, only partially correct. He told me that there was no such thing as a silent check valve for the sump pump....when I had seen them and knew he wasn't telling the truth. I then asked him to elaborate and he gave me a meandering, non-answer answer that confirmed, yeah, he was full of crap. The follow-on to this is that in order to get the permit for AGL to install the meter, we needed someone with a license to put in the permit request. I called Allgood back and explained that their guy had been out and asked them to do it. The woman on the phone asked me to hold for a while and returned to tell me her supervisor said no, they couldn't do it. See, they only apply for a permit when they're doing the work....never mind that they diagnosed the problem and couldn't do the work since only AGL can install a meter. Because it was going to take so long for AGL to replace the meter and because we still needed the check valve installed AND the permit, we asked another plumber to come out. He agreed to request the permit, installed the sump pump check valve and took a look at the water heater. As he was approaching the entry to the crawlspace he immediately noticed that the exhaust port for the water heater was improperly installed, i.e. at the wrong angle. After he pointed it out to me, it was a problem that was clearly visually noticeable and that Allgood's guy should have noticed as well. He further diagnosed other problems with the unit mostly caused by the condensation draining back along the exhaust port into the unit. He fixed those other issues and the unit worked fine....before the new meter was installed. Even worse, we endured over a week without gas service because AGL is so slow to do anything. Since the hot water heater worked BEFORE the meter changeout, we probably could have continued to get by without a new one and the loss of service could have been avoided. Conjecture yes, but it's worth mentioning. Ultimately, including the "savings" from their $50 off special, I spent a grand total of $200 for $250 worth of service and in exchange only succeeded in getting our unit flushed out. Not exactly what I'd call a value.

Every aspect of the whole experience was positive. The only reason we didn't hire them to do the repair of the sewer line was because they were $1500.00 more than another companies estimate for the same job. I would call them again for a plumbing problem in a second. They were great to work with.

Things went well. After he finished with the toilet, he insisted on seeing the hot water heater. I wasn't sure why the tech wanted to check my water pressure from the hot water heater. So, I followed him out to the garage and watched closely. He didn't have a pressure gauge or anything in his hand, but he told me the reading was normal at 60 psi. This exchange felt a little weird to me. Therefore I'm noting it here.

Allgood came to my home to install new kitchen faucet. Serviceman was very courteous and professional. Price was very reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

Jonathan was friendly and got right to the work once he saw what needed to be done. He pointed out an old valve and explained why it possibly needed to be replaced. I never felt pressured but did go with a replacement for future peace of mind. When I showed him a $25 discount offered on my Iphone app, he said there was a better offer and had me go online to find it. What a great thing to do! We have used Allgood before and will continue. I've referred them to a friend who was very happy also.

GET A PRICE BEFORE THE PLUMBER ARRIVES My advice: If you have a simple project (I wanted Allgood to replace the kitchen faucet), talk with the person on the phone about the price before the plumber comes to the house. I ended up paying $160 ($210 less a $50 deal from Angie's List) to replace my kitchen faucet - even though I provided the faucet . I didn?t know the full price until the plumber got there. The Angie?s coupon implied that the deal would cover the cost of the job. THE PLUMBER HAD TO COME BACK A SECOND TIME TO FIX A LEAK He didn't have the proper connecting line on his truck, so the plumber tried to use the existing connecting line. It wasn't quite long enough and it developed a slow leak within a few hours. How can a plumber not have a connecting line with him even though he knows he's going to replace a kitchen faucet?

While taking a bath in the morning the bathroom faucet would not close and turn off the water, it was stuck in the full on position and after removing the handle I discovered that the valve was broken. My next step was to check-out Angie's List where I found Allgood Plumbing and a $50 for $100 of service offer and a very high overall rating. I called Allgood where a person answered the phone quickly and after describing the issue to her she gave me an ETA. Awhile later I received an email with a photo of the dispatched plumber, very nice. Jared arrived quickly, helped us get the water turned off, and gave us an estimate for replacing the valve. I asked about fixing a leaky outside faucet and he described the options of re-building or replacing the faucet and gave an estimate for that work also. We gave him the go-ahead and in no time he was finished. We paid using Allgood's wireless technology and in minutes I had a receipt in my email. The service was not cheap, but the service and and the warranty are very good. I recommend Allgood Plumbing.

Since there were no pipes overlooking the moist area in the attic, he suggested that it may be coming from the roof, and I needed to call a company in the roofing business. Jonathan moved and left the insulation pushed to one side allowing the next person to see the spot easily. He even gave me a little video of the area to show the next worker. I only end up paying $29 because I had the $100 worth of plumbing services from Angie's list. Thanks Jonathan because now I have know it's not a plumbing problem.

The service went very well and the end product was great. I have to ask though... why the service cost $360.00. The service provider was there for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cost of materials was probably under $40.00 (most likely more like $20.00). That said... am I paying Allgood almost $300.00 per hour? very confusing. Feel free to reply and let me know how it works. Great service, and professional plumber. VERY poor price and thus would not use them again; I would have gone with someone else but I was in a jam and took off work to get meet with the Plumber.

Work: They did a fantastic job with the installation. The technician was very professional, competent and friendly. The tech showed up a little later than anticipated, but he stayed late to finish the job. The price quoted was significantly higher than I was initially anticipating, but that's probably because I didn't know the amount of work required to actually perform the task. I still think it was a little high, but I suppose when you do electrical work, you need to be prepared to spend some money. For what it's worth, I think they did an outstanding job, and although it was more than I was initially thinking it would cost it was worth the money.

The gentleman arrived on time and was able to fix our leaking toilet. Very professional and I would use this company again.

I got a deal from Angie's List for $119 for $200 worth of service. AllGood contacted me and I quickly scheduled service for a week later. AllGood dispatched called me the morning of, and let me know Paul would be there in about an hour, which he was, well within the four hour scheduled window. Paul diagnosed a problem where a treadmill and printer were tripping a circuit breaker. Paul swapped out the troubled breaker and also check my panel for other issues, tightening screws and such. Paul was professional and pleasant, and the work came in at just under $200, so it worked out perfectly. Great job, Paul and AllGood!

Onsite time 2.25 hours, so if the GFI's were say $20 each (for the actual piece), that means I paid $175 an hour for this service? Tech who did work was GREAT - price was not. I only had the work done because I did not KNOW the price until they showed up to do the service (and I bought a $200 coupon for $119). I asked for a quote over the phone - since the job was so simple and straight forward - but was told they needed to come onsite. I will go back to BIG FROG Electric for my future needs - same quality - MUCH BETTER PRICE. My Tech from ALLGOOD was GREAT (he knew all the county/state codes and was very precise/detailed in his work effort) - but he is an installer, which is fine - he not a licensed electrician. I would have been happy to pay $75.00 an hour for this service. My guess they pay this guy - maybe $25 an hour. Need to review your pricing models - or figure out who in Management is getting overpaid. Just being honest in my review.
