Description of Work: Tried to diagnose a problem. Although he couldn't find the issue, he went above and beyond to try.

Description of Work: The appointment initially was scheduled for 6/12 between 8 and 12. No one turned up. I called at 12 and they rescheduled it for 6/13. No apologies what so ever. He came in on 6/13 and gave me a 550 dollar estimate to fix a garbage disposal and hot water fix for the bathroom sink, plus corking on the kitchen back splash. I found that very expensive and finally settled for garbage disposal + kitchen corking for 325. This is after applying the 50 dollar Angie's coupon. Three days later I see there is a leak under the kitchen sink which was not there before the fix. Now he quotes 250 bucks to fix it. He says it has nothing to do with the garbage disposal fix and it was always an issue which I don't agree.

Description of Work: Electric water heater wasn't working. Free estimate for repair quoted at $350.00. Got a second opinion and it turned out that there was a previous power surge which had caused the heater's circuit to trip. Got the front panel opened up and re-set the power button. Heater working now. Problem was resolved by a friend in under 5 minutes, who had done some research and problem-shooting. Very pleasant technician however I'm surprised and disappointed that with his expected knowledge and expertise he hadn't started with opening and checking the electric panel to examine that first BEFORE offering a diagnosis. That should have been very basic and a starting point. Otherwise have had two great experiences with this company so I'm gonna chalk up this occurrence as a fluke/human error.

Description of Work: Allgood replaced an electrical line from my circuit breaker box to the outside air conditioner unit on the weekend. They did an excellent job and did not charge me a weekend fee. I highly recommend this company for electrical service.

Description of Work: they identified the leak coming from my toilet (2nd floor) thru to the first floor. Stopped the leak and replaced the inner toilet parts.

The repairman checked the water pressure and found it to be too high at 150 psi. he replaced the pressure reducing valve in garage replaced washer on back hose bibb and also switched supply lines at kitchen sinkfacuet to where cold is on the right and hot is on the left

Description of Work: I had called them for a recurring blockage in my septic waste line. |They were scheduled 3 days out which was not a big deal, but my blockage recurred 2 days out and I was not able to use any water without waste water backing up. I wound up removing the blockage myself after removing an old toilet. I purchased a new toilet, but was not sure about the flange thing.The technician was on time, I explained my situation, He reused the original flange, installed the toilet, all is good!

Description of Work: There was a water leak in the line from the meter to the house. The leak was in the line where it ran underneath the driveway. They ran a new line from the meter under the driveway and under the lawn and island of shrubs and flowers. Price quoted was unbelievably high. No pressure from technician to have work done. I accepted the price. They did a great job and were very professional. I probably could have had it done for much less.

Description of Work: All three jobs were not fixed and still involved leaks after the plumber allegedly completed the work. They also caused $750 worth of additional work as well by breaking a fitting that wasn't broken prior to arrival.

Description of Work: I called them for three different problems, each time thinking the way they operated the prior time was an exception. First, I had a fluorescent light that was flashing rapidly after I had replaced the bulbs. The technician encouraged me to install a new fixture, which I did for about $185.00. I later realized that the bulbs I had gotten were the wrong rating and all it needed was to use the correct bulbs. Second and third were plumbing issues. In both cases they recommended a particular action that I felt was unnecessary and insisted on "checking" to see if a particular potential problem existed. If fact the measures did not indicate a need to change it but I don't think it even needed to be checked. The items I called them for were priced too high in my estimate so I paid the $39.00 dispatch fee and declined to have the work done. I later called another plumber who did the work for a more reasonable price. My biggest complaint is that they seem to ALWAYS look for something else that needs to be fixed. If you do not have a sense of what something should cost, it is difficult to refuse their recommendation. Also, in each instance they send an email with a link to do a recommendation on Angie's list so their high count is not spontaneous. The technicians were very polite and seemed to know what they were doing but overall it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I would look for someone else.
