Description of Work: They told me by sump pump was too small and needed to be replaced. That was not correct. The pump was simply a bad pump. The size of the pump was more that necessary. They came at midnight, which was necessary and appreciated, if they could have repaired it. But, he said he could not repair,needed replaced and told me they would call me in a couple of days. They called me with a $1500 quote and in all actuality it cost me nothing to repair with a local repair service.

Description of Work: They located a gas leak that was undetectable as it was leaking through a line that had been shut off 28 years ago and it was a small pipe going out into yard to an old gas grill . He had to run checks on all lines to find it. found it fixed it and also changed valves on two other gas lines that were 45 plus years old. Very good service and knowledge.

Description of Work: We needed 2 outside hose spigots to replace. They wanted to charge an excessive amount to do this in addition did not have any with him even though I asked about the parts before they came. Then we had to pay a service call even though they did nothing. It was a very bad experience

Description of Work: I had a substantial leak in a pipe. Allgood came out and fixed what they thought was the problem. However, a valve was closed off before or during the fix process and was not turned back on after. Consequently the true source (or an additional source) of the leak was not learned as the leak returned when the valve was turned back on a few days later. While I thought they were helpful and professional, I think they should have double checked to make sure everything was running before they left. That way the continued source of leaking water might have been noticed. |
