Description of Work: The installer that I bought my 6.5 year old AC from went out of business so I needed to look elsewhere for 10 yr duration warranty repairs. ACS did the repairs and spent many extra unpaid hours tracking down warranty covered parts from distributors that they don't normally work with, one of which did not have warehouses on the east coast. The result was that I was not charged for either a leaking evaporator coil or a defective blower controller - parts which would have cost over $1000 together. I did have to pay for installation labor and considered their rate to be reasonable. I downgraded them one notch because the installers overlooked a clogged condensation pump that collected scorched refrigerant oil.

Description of Work: They delivered and installed a new Lennox furnace and air conditioning system, along with an icomfort wi-fi thermostat. The two installers were very knowledgeable, explained the system well, and cleaned the place up when they finished taking the 'wreakage' with them. The job took about five hours. Should mention that all this was preceded by a good session with the sales guy who looked over our home and gave us three options to choose from with a good discussion of the merits of each. Very professional outfit!

Description of Work: Actually, they did not charge us because they couldn't do the repairs. They found that we needed to replace our system and that it couldn't be repaired. They set us up to meet with a salesperson, who called us and made an appointment. The salesperson was on time, professional and courteous. At this point we are getting second opinions and quotes. Nothing against ACS, they are wonderful. It's just that replacing a unit is a lot of money and we want to make sure we're getting the best deal.

They needed to come back the next day with estimates for new equipment, this was the option we went with. They installed the equipment we selected in three days.
