We were very pleased with all aspects of doing business with Movers Direct, from point of first contact with Christie at the office to the final farewell at our destination. Everything was performed in a professional, punctual, patient, responsive, caring, trustful, fair, honest manner - everything you want from a mover to make an otherwise stressful and chaotic experience as easy as possible. Our movers, Daniel and Tim, handled our belongings with respect, care and dexterity. They were also fun to get to know, and invested personal attention and thoughtfulness into the entire process. We also appreciated being able to call or text them at any point along our 3 day cross country route. Replies were carried out within minutes. Finally, we were also grateful for their flexibility in dropping off some items at another residence along the way. We have complete faith in Movers Direct and will absolutely use them again when needed.

They were awesome. They packed and unassembled everything in NC. They were so thorough they even took the toilet paper off the holders. They set up everything back in the new house and put all the boxes in the rooms they belonged in. Even helped me move things a few times so they were exactly where I wanted them. Plan on hiring again!

I expect a lot and am often disappointed. This moving crew was awesome. The guys couldn't have worked harder. They showed up and worked hard and didn't really even take a break. They started at 9:15am and worked straight through until around 9:15 pm. I was also very happy with how the moving company answered the phone every time I called (even on a Sunday) and even at 7:30 am one morning. I couldn't have been more pleased. These guys were worth every penny.

I moved from Chattanooga to Tampa and this company was excellent. Christy was very helpful and professional, the quote was accurate and reasonable, and the movers were extremely helpful. They set up everything, and nothing was broken or scratched. I moved back in January, but it's been on my mind that I needed to leave a review for a while because of how great the service was. I would definitely use them again.

My moving process was very hectic in terms of timing, but the movers made it an easy transition. Their delivery time and communication was amazing and the 2 men who they sent were very sweet and moved everything with care. Would highly recommend!!!!

The move went very well. This is the second time I have used these guys and I was pleased with both moves. They arrived before their scheduled time of 7:00AM, and basically worked non-stop until the move was completed about 8 hours later. We did stop for a quick lunch, but that time was not billed to me. Rusty, Ronnie and Tim were all very courteous and professional. All of my belongings were handled carefully and I had no damage on either move. I used my Angie's List coupon and saved another $25.00 on the move as well. I would (and have) recommend these guys to my friends and family. I would advise you to book your reservation early however as these guys schedules fill up fast!

Move phone coordinator in GA went out of her way to help. All went well. Movers were punctual, efficient and very nice.

Danny and Jerry could not possibly have been more polite, competent, cooperative, and efficient. They were careful with my goods, and they showed up on my end and at my daughter's home on the dot of the time they had promised. Everything was in perfect condition and the entire experience way as painless as possible. They even allowed me to pre-pay the balance of the job so that my daughter would not have to. I would recommend the services of Movers Direct without reservation.

They were wonderful... a Fantastic company to deal with from customer service.... Christy...to the movers themselves.......James and.... Michael......who loaded the truck in Fla. with TLC as though they were handling their own furnishing....they even hand carried many boxes marked fragile instead of using a hand truck.....the move was difficult because they had to pick at a storage facility first and then load up at my condo....they did not rush the move and handled each piece with care.....they assembled all items with precision...... not one item was broken or scratched.......they are truly a very professional service......and I could not recommend them more highly....this is the first service company were I can truly say ...... the customer absolutely comes first........not only are they concerned about your belongings......they also care about doing everything they can to reduce your stress level.... not to mention the price I was quoted over the phone was the exact price I was charged.....there were no unforeseen, hidden, or extra charges added to my final bill.....A truly very professional company..... The service was excellent. They were a bit pricey but it was well worth it considering what an excellent job they did. Christy handled all the details and payments and responded quickly to all questions and details. Daniel and April did an amazing job with loading the truck, driving it cross country and unloading everything into a storage unit. Even the manager of the storage unit was impressed with how they unloaded the truck and continued to work until everything was done. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again if possible.

Christy and her team were efficient, courteous and delivered on all promises. Her husband and herself actually do the moving with the team. I love it when you see owners getting involved because they care how the job gets done. Everything they said they would do they did. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent move from start to finish! The company kept in contact before and during the move. The movers, Danny and Jared, were very professional, courteous, and amazing packers. They were very considerate of our time and our belongings. Would recommend them to anyone who is moving!! Very Pleased!

Packing was marginal at best. I had a 150 year old Chinese bird cage. They did not even put paper around it, much less any protective bubble wrap. It was just stuck in a box on the top with other items. It arrived like a box of matchsticks. It was a gift from a group of friends when I was living in Hong Kong. Besides the sentimentality, it was worth quite a sum of money. A nesting doll that I personally purchased while living in Russia arrived without the head. Items like lamps arrived without key pieces and had to be donated to a thrift shop. All in all, I had to offload or donate at least 25 pieces because of damage or missing key pieces. Also, they did not lay any protective covering on the carpet or walls when moving into the new place. They had both been freshly painted and cleaned. Now they will be repainted and recleaned. They had a BIG job waiting for them the day after my delivery. They kept pushing me to take delivery earlier than we had scheduled. I feel that they only took me because they knew they could make money on the way to this BIG job. And, I think the service I got was shoddy in order to keep the timing correct. I was very disappointed. I will say I never contacted them about the broken pieces. I just wanted to move on.

Use the three men and truck local move. The guys who came were careful of the belongings. However, we have had three moves over the last ten years. In the previous two moves we moved from a lot larger house that included a basement. So this move was a fraction of amount of the last two. And the time was a lot longer than I was suspecting. In the previous two moves, the movers were able to load about a fourth more volume in a lot less time. I hate to criticize the crew because as said in the beginning they were careful, but the extra time was being added at $109 per hour. What I felt should have been a six to seven hour job based on past experience equaled ten hours.

Daniel, Michael and Angela were professional but at the same time very considerate and willing to work with us. Christy kept us posted and made the entire process painless. I would not want to use a different mover in the future.

Daniel and Michael were professional and conscientious. Both men seemed to have endless energy and treated our belongings with care and respect. They made the move as painless as possible for me. As this was our 4th long distant move in less than 13 years I speak from experience. Christy was knowledgeable and quick to respond to phone calls. Price was reasonable and worth the quality of the work. Would highly recommend Movers Direct.

They were really, really good. The movers were on time and they kept us updated throughout the scheduling process and move. We really liked the service they provided.

Christy and her team are excellent! Christy is quick to respond and has excellent communication. The movers were professional and very pleasant. The gentleman arrived at our home at approximately 10am and completed the load of the trucks by approximately 4pm. They were very respectful and careful with our belongings. Two days later (per our request), they arrived on-time in Indianapolis to unload the trucks. They all did a great job distributing our boxes / furniture to the correct locations in the new home. The price for the move was very reasonable, considering the quality and care shown by the movers. Note: the load in Knoxville occurred on a holiday - I really appreciate them assisting us, despite the holiday!

This moving company was fantastic! I've moved numerous times and this company was by far the best. They weren't the cheapest but they certainly weren't the most expensive. I would say they were lower end middle of the road, in terms of price, but the service was OUTSTANDING! I relocated from Georgia to Massachusetts, which the thought alone stressed me out. Christy always answered my calls, even on weekends, and made me feel very comfortable with the move. I was the only person on the truck and they worked with my tight moving schedule (I moved within 2 weeks of calling her). A crew of 5 guys showed up at my house on time (they even made a special trip to pick up items at another location). They packed up my 1800 sq ft house in 4 hours and started driving north. 2 guys drove up to Massachusetts and unloaded the truck the next day, starting at 7 pm at night and finished at 10 pm. They were incredibly nice and accomodating. I highly recommend this moving company. When I move again, hopefully I can convince Christy to move me up here in New England!

Excellent and very easy for us. They even offered to move items around in the home. Movers were trustworthy and people of integrity.
