A very pleasant experience. Three men doing the move were excellent.

This was the only company that would give us a quote without an exhaustive list of items to be moved. Christy was easy to work with from the first time I spoke with her, which meant a lot to me as I was overwhelmed with very suddenly having to move. I am also disabled and having to pack was taxing to say the least and very stressful, but Christy was wonderful and patient;my sister and her husband in North Carolina (who were paying for the move) and I (in Florida) BOTH had to call her for different reasons and she was very helpful to all of us. The day of the move, the movers were on time and even called me with an ETA when nearby. They were professional, friendly and helpful to me as they helped me tape up boxes that I had trouble with-(they DO offer packing services, and while we had to keep costs down, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for this service as well as all of my stuff was treated with care and nothing was broken or destroyed in the move). I just can't say enough good things about these 2 guys-they even took my dog for a walk before they left as I was clearly very tired...The next morning, they arrived at my sister's place on time and unloaded the items to their designated locations, including going up two sets of stairs to the attic. My sister found them just as friendly and helpful as I did and they did such an amazing job, that when she found out they didn't have much of a breakfast at the hotel, when they were finished, she and her son cooked them breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them; from the office to the movers-they all did a fantastic job.

Everything was 1st class, right from the first phone call. Kristy was very responsive and sent me a full and accurate quote with NO HIDDEN COSTS right away. I ended up reserving the truck, but soon realized that I needed to push the move back a day. Again, Kristy was very responsive and took care of it for me. The movers showed up EXACTLY on time on the move day, which was critical because I had to catch a flight back to Silver Spring that afternoon. The three gentlemen were very efficient, friendly and careful. Best of all, they were done in no time! The movers showed up a little early the next morning and, since they showed up a little earlier than expected, they gladly helped us in the last minute preparations. When it was time to move in the furniture, they were efficient and careful. They laid out the rugs and assembled the various pieces perfectly. Everything was in perfect shape...not a scratch! Again, they were done in no time. Highly recommend...complete honesty coupled with competitive pricing is tough to find!

We can not say enough about this company. From the moment I called Christy and booked our move, the service was excellent! Christy is very professional and helpful. She is very knowledgable and gave excellent advice. The packers and movers were Daniel (Boss), Tommy, Tim, and James. They were very professional and did an excellent job of packing our items in our home. They moved our furniture like it was there own. They were very friendly and did whatever we asked of them with always a smile on their face. I would definitely use them again. This was the best move that we have ever had!!!

From the single story house in La. under ideal weather conditions to rainy, cold loading into a 2 story house in Tenn., things went well with no significant incidents. We asked the movers to protect the carpets at the destination home so they placed their furniture mats on the entrance areas floors, nicely protecting the carpeting. We had some contents in the destination home that needed rearranging before off-loading the van. The movers helped us accomplish the shuffle as needed. We handled the packing at the load end and the unpacking at the unload end, so that's not a discussion item here. In that regard however, they were prepared to pack/unpack as necessary and their company had already quoted us an hourly rate for those activities should that have been necessary. Suffice to say, they were well prepared for the job. There was a little hickup with a technical problem with the van, and although it delayed the mover's run to Tenn., by half a day, we were still able to meet our original schedule of 3 days end to end.

They wrapped and packed a large dining room with 3 sets of valuable china, 2 sets of very expensive crystal, objets d'art, and half of a 3600 square foot home with lots of books. They loaded and shipped my antique furniture, my one-of-a-kind 300# marble table, and all my sculptures with ABSOLUTELY no breakage except for a small soapstone bowl which is repairable. They also packed a huge girly-girl closet with >300 clothes and >50 pairs of shoes, all with no damage. As I was flying while they were driving, it was a tight fit time-wise, but their coordinator, Christy, keep all of us informed. We all communicated via text and phone, and everyone coordinated at both sites without problems. They were prompt, professional, hardworking, polite, and kept both my departure and destination houses clean and tidy. They helped me place furniture and boxes in ideal locations, and I couldn't have asked for any better service from Ricky, Josh, and Grayson. They were true professionals and I would use Movers Direct again in a heartbeat.

Christy is fantastic...., took care of every detail without me doing a thing. The two movers, Kaleb and Jeffrey were courteous, professional, very thorough and clearly knew what they were doing. EVERYTHING made it cross country with no damage!!!!! Unbelievable, I've moved many times, sometimes just across town, and there are always things damaged. Their timing was perfect, they called and kept me informed all the way across the US, as to where they were and when they'd be unloading. Several times, the movers went above and beyond the call of duty, wrapping portraits I'd forgotten to wrap, moving several heavy outdoor pieces. As I said, they were terrific and I'd use them again or recommend them in a heartbeat!

Moving is super stressful. I wanted to find movers I felt were really trustworthy to ease the stress of moving. I chose well. Josh and Tim were my movers and they were easy to work with all the way around. Very respectful, courteous, considerate... Movers Direct does not offer a "white glove service" and none is needed because they treated every item of mine with tremendous respect and care. I didn't have a huge amount of stuff to move, but what I have, I love and wanted everything to arrive in good condition. Some antiques, some very heavy and large sculptures... they handled everything with exceptional care and an awesome attitude. The place I moved from was upstairs with no elevator so everything needed to be carried down stairs. No problem for them! They were creative and calm and took the time necessary to handle everything with great care. The price seemed high for me since I don't have that much stuff, but I decided to book them because I felt so good about the company beginning with my first conversation with Christy. She is organized, responsive, sensitive, helpful. It was helpful to talk with Christy every time I called before the move and she could easily pull up my information. I moved into a place that had furniture in it. I knew this and knew I needed to move some things out. Once I got there, I realized I needed to move some things out sooner rather than later. I talked with Josh and Tim and they were willing to move some of the things out and take to a donation center, for a small extra fee. This was a huge help and their ability to respond to the extra service so graciously is a reflection of their attitude during the entire move. On loading day, they arrived about an hour late and did not call me to tell me what was happening. I called them to find out if everything was okay. That is my only ding on the entire move, because once they arrived, everything was awesome. And as to the price of the move, $5000 is a big chunk of money... but if you are choosing to move your possessions from one place to another and want them to be well cared for in the process, Movers Direct does an excellent job. And most likely, my move price is most likely a bargain considering I moved from New Mexico to Florida and received the level of service I received and Josh and Tim are real dears to be around. I give them an A+.

It was excellent! They are awesome, and make it stress free. They handle your personal items like they were there own. There was no damage to my stuff.

BEST MOVERS EVER! It all started with Christy, who was always prompt and stayed in touch. It was an emotional move, and she was kind and scheduled a great team of movers. Danny and Timothy were my movers and absolutely the best. They were already at the house when we got there to start. They were very nice, honest and excellent at wrapping, loading and moving. They made it easy for me. Definitely a positive experience.

I used a pod style service and did but this company moved the stuff that would not fit in the unit. They were very accommodating and get me a truck as soon as they could. They did a great job moving my things with care and efficiency. I would highly recommend them to anyone for moving services.

I don't have one negative comment. This company and the gentlemen that performed the services were amazing. They explained everything is great detail, were very professional, flexible with my schedule, and made what I expected to be a very stressful situation very fun and entertaining. I will/would recommend this company to all friends and family!

OUTSTANDING! + Ronnie, Tommy and Josh showed up at 5pm on a Monday calling us en--route keeping us informed of their trip from Seattle to Coeur d'Alene, and were finished and heading for the motel by 8:00pm. The assessed the load and very carefully removed the furniture and boxes from our home and shop. Ronnie, the loadmaster, fit everything into the truck with diligence and expertise. Tommy and Josh carried and loaded up all items with great care. They were on the road the next morning and were at the destination by 8am Friday. They kept us informed of their travels and via text messages we were able to corrordinate with our friend who received the load delivered to our storage facility. They unloaded into storage with some needed items left in the front of the storage as requested so we would have easy access. Two loaders/drivers and one loadmaster, this was a well-oiled team. Friendly, personable, and professional, they went about their business and got it done! Wish everyone we'd worked with was this good. We've had a number of military moves and they have not been nearly as user-friendly or professional. Give these guys an A+. We'd use them again any time. The office coordinator/honcho Christy was always available by phone. Great team. Highly professional and Highly recommended! Awesome fellas.

This was such an easy move. Last time I moved I used Bekins Movers. It was horrible. I had many things stolen. Daniel, Andrea and Aaron arrived on time and efficiently and carefully packed up my household. They loaded the truck that only had my belongings in it and met me 6 days later at the storage unit. They unloaded very carefully. They were most professional and pleasant. Could not have gone more smoothly. I have not opened the boxes containing fragile contents yet. However, no boxes were obviously damaged in the move. I would highly recommend this company. Christie, on of the owners answers the phone. There is never another person to deal with. Makes it very easy.

Movers Direct is awesome! I highly recommend them to anyone, especially for a cross country move. Daniel and Tim arrived right on time. They packed me up and loaded the truck all in one day. Just the packing would have taken me a month. They were extremely professional and kind in the face of my anxiety. They took special care of my valuables, making sure they were properly packed. Not a single thing was broken. One of the reasons I picked this service is that the same people who pack and load your belongings, are the same people that move you into your new home. You don't have to worry about who is on the other end, or if your stuff is sitting in a warehouse somewhere. They drove at the same time I did across the country and met me at my apartment, which was not easy to find. They took additional things to a storage facility. They worked their butts off and never complained. I kept telling them they were crazy -- I cannot imagine working that hard for that long. Tim even gave me the shirt off his back (literally!) I did my research before moving because I have had bad experiences with moves in the past. Most of the larger companies use contract workers, keep your things in a warehouse, then transfer them several times a long with other moves. You never know when your things will arrive. And they would NEVER have the same people load and unload, nor would they make a stop to storage for you. This is a family owned company and the only one I saw that had an A rating on both Angies List and the BBB. It was a bit out of my price range, but I am SO glad I did it. It was worth every penny. You won't be sorry!

We have relocated many times around the U.S. over the years and this was by far the best moving company we have ever used. The guys were courteous and professional. The total move was completed on time and without a hitch. We would hire them again. Ronnie, Josh and Tommy, Thanks for you efforts.

Chris, Ron and Tim were careful with my belongings, prompt, hard workers, and courteous. The price was reasonable, as well. They were excellent, the best movers I have ever had.

I dreaded this move and was happily surprised : it really went well and much easier than I thought. I first spoke to Christy Burrell who very promptly e mailed me a quote after looking at our house on internet. She said we would need 2 trucks. The team of 4 men would pack, load, stay with the load and unload in VA. Those men Daniel, Ricky, Tim and Eric were very courteous, very efficient and careful with our belongings. The price was exactly what had been quoted and I was able to pay with my American Express card. I would definitely recommend Movers Direct LLC and use them again myself if I have to move again.

There were minor problems at both the move-out and move-in locations relating to them being where they were suppose to be when they were supposed to be there. However, these were minor and in both situations seemed to Stem from misunderstandings within their company. Once they arrived everything proceeded smoothly and professionally. The crew were courteous and friendly. Both move-out and move-in were without incident. Our belongings arrived in good shape. Would definitely hire Mover's Direct again.

Sent a truck with three very qualified and experienced employees to our residence to load and transport ou household goods to Yuma Az.They were very punctual and in communications through the trip. We finished unpacking today and nothing is broken or missing.We have moved 11 times during my career and this was the first time being satisfied.Thanks Movers direct!!

It was a 1,200 mile move. It went awesome. They were great all the way around.

This is the 2nd time I have used Movers Direct. I have been very pleased with their service both times. My movers were Ronnie, Michael and Josh. All three were helpful, professional, and friendly. A big thank you to them for making a moving day go smoothly.

The move from Houston to Columbia, Missouri went off as planned. To save us a trip to Texas, we had a friend open the house for them and instruct as to which items were to be moved. They arrived at the pickup location and loaded on schedule, delivered on schedule. Nothing was damaged and items were covered with blankets to protect unloading in the rain. They were cheerful, personable, helpful and they insisted on moving a very heavy old piece of furniture we wished to get rid of and needed moving from the basement to the garage. That was not part of their contract and we thought it very nice and helpful they went the extra mile like that for us. Daniel, Mikey and Jeffrey get our seal of approval for Movers Direct!

Hardworking, yet congenial crew. Packed in one day as per agreement, moved in two days as per agreement. No issues there. However, apparently the packing process had been apparently under-evaluated, and the crew had to work at packing until five in the morning in order to be able to deliver at the new site on time, which they did do without complaint. They seemed to indicate that the fault was probably with their own company at the home office. My wife has several sets of dishes including one of expensive China. Only one teacup saucer was broken. On the downside, the crew used our decorative and bed pillows and bedding for packing materials, when packing paper or pads should have been used. A number of these items had to be sent to the cleaners before they could be used again for household purposes. Also, some of the boxes were mislabeled; others were filled with odd combinations of contents. My wife and daughter called these the mystery boxes, as they seldom had any idea what was in them until they unpacked them. That may also be typical; I don't know. In all fairness, we had never used a commercial mover before, so we have nothing to compare it with. This was a small regional company rather than a national mover. I typically try to give my business to local and regional companies, but I don't know if a national company would have been better or not. This company had very good previous ratings on Angie's List.

I was a little hesitant to use this company only because I have never done a cross country move and their operation was so different than everyone else I contacted (large companies who mostly would estimate 2-3 weeks to receive delivery). Movers Direct quote was also much less than competitors. On the day of the move, Daniel, Tim, and Andrea showed up on time and started packing our home very quickly and efficiently! Without complaint, they moved the car trailer (twice) at the request of my building association even though that trailer must have been heavy and a pain! Team did an excellent job, spending nearly 11 hours working tirelessly that day between packing and loading the truck. Then they were off driving and arrived as scheduled 4 days later to our new home in Oakland to unload. I cannot express the amount of kindness and care this team used in moving us and couldn't have asked for a better experience!
