Window World - Savannah

Had given a deposit for the window and it was to be installed within 6 weeks. On the 6th week I called and they said yes the window was in , when did I want it. The installer came the next week. Though he did a good job of installing my window I had bought new plastic brick molding which he cut backwards and had to rig in , I had also bought new plastic window sill 6' long enough for 2 windows. when he left he took all my materials and lost my check . I know they have many installers working for them , in my case ,with one window , I think they sent a good old boy and not a professional . The window does it's job , has ? a lifetime warranty and probably no one but me and a builder would notice the Brick Molding is on the wrong sides of the window . As far as my extra materials I just chalked that up to price.

Windows arrived on time and were installing promptly.

Great, they even had to be creative with one double set on such a slant they had to fill the area to make it work. They took away the old windows and storm windows. Nice guys doing the work, agreeable sales man, great people answering the phone.

We would not recommend - the best priced quote is not always the best: Even though the company says they will cover the Beaufort area, we got the feeling that they preferred not to install windows here If our property was in the Savannah area, we may have had a different experience. It was tough getting the office to return our phone calls. Why so much advertising if your office personnel can?t handle it?? Decrease the advertising budget a bit and hire an additional assistant. The salesperson is a bit negative, but he does appear to know his stuff. In April, after getting several other quotes, we choose this company because the price was right and they seemed to understand what we wanted and needed compared to the other quotes. We scheduled installation for September, and were told to follow-up in late July to ensure our window order goes in (thinking back, red flag - why wouldn?t they have just called me in July?) Contacted them in late July, and after a few weeks of back and forth run-around, we were told they couldn?t do our windows due to a lawsuit with Home Depot with our HOA. Our HOA has no knowledge of a lawsuit with Home Depot and Window World never even contacted them. I'm guessing this was just their story to back out from doing work in our area; we wish they would just not quote and schedule installations if they don't want to do work here. This review is based on our experience with service only, and not the actual product.

They dinged the cabinet and newly painted walls around the windows. We knew we were going to have to touch up paint after the new windows came in but did not expect to have to repair the walls too. We asked if they would fix the little dings and they said they would but never did. The white cosmetic facing on the outside of the windows does not line up on some of the windows. That being said, the windows look good from the inside, and work well.

Overall well. The installers were polite and very careful with the work.

Our main complaint was that the office would not return most of our phone calls. The job was started as scheduled but the tech did not follow up for two days to complete the job. We did not have our calls returned during this time so we didn't know when to expect the tech to return. We even left a message for the owner to call but he never called back either. The office personnel was neither professional nor prompt. We also never received a call after the job was completed to check about our satisfaction. After spending $5,000 you would think we would receive better service.

Greg Sasser arrived on time, was friendly and professional. We found his expertise to be helpful. We have used this company before at another home. They do excellent work. We would Highly recommend them.

It was a good experience. They did a good job with the windows and doors. The windows cost me $6000 and the doors cost me $3000. I was happy with the installation. Considering the fact that I have lifetime warranty on them and that they would replace anything that needs to be replaced, the price was very good. I didn’t have any concerns.

Gil came out to do the quote. He was just great and showed us exactly what we were buying. He did the measurements, took the deposit, and schedule the windows. The windows arrived a week early, so we agreed to put them right in. The subcontractors worked hard until the job was finished. It took two days instead of one which was the estimate. The new windows look just great. I will use Window World again! My neighbors have used them and recommended them highly.

They did everything they were supposed to do.

These guys were great! The service was excellent, they were done much more quickly than I ever would have realized and it was a job well done. Very pleased with the quality and look of the windows, and of the professionalism of the installers.

We were told when the crew would be arriving and they were very punctual. Very polite group. When they came to our house they got right to work and each one knew the job they had to do. We are very glad to use Window World of Savannah to install our windows. This company has a good group of employees that I felt comfortable having in and out of my house.

Very professional, showed up on time and provided an excellent estimate and description of services and products. We went with another company due to financing constraints, but would recommend them.

The quality of the windows is very good but the customer service is terrible. They lost a sale of a door and two sidelights and the installation of the windows due to poor communication. The rude responses we received from a gentleman at the office will prevent us from calling them for the rest of our windows.

We had a great experience with Window World. Greg was very quick to schedule our initial appointment. He was on time and prepared to discuss our needs. We waited about six months to fully commit to the project. When I called to schedule the installation he came to our house the next day to sign the contract and give me information needed to apply for permits. The windows arrived and were installed within three weeks. We are very happy with our eleven new windows.

I would never use them every again!

I compared their price to Lowes and thought that I got a very good price for the size of the window needed. One of the windows came in broken and it was a month or two before they came back and brought the new window to replace it. The initial contact was all very good but the follow up was not very good. It seemed to just fall through the cracks, we had to call a couple of times. They seem surprised that it did fall through the cracks.

I’d rather not disclose the amount that I spent on their services. Everything about them really stood out to me. They are dependable and they did quality work. They were on time. They did what they said they were going to do and they did it right. There were no problems and that kind of stuff.

I chose them because a friend had used them and had highly recommended them. I called and they came out to the house and gave me an estimate. I was very pleased with their work and the price. It was expensive but comparatively it was in line with everybody else. I would use them again in the future.

They were very friendly folks and there was no miscommunication. They had everything that I had anticipated and everything was right. They installers were right on time and very professional. They put in very good windows. I also wanted doors done and they said they would get me quotes for that, but they just forgot about me on the doors. I called them back and left four messages. I left two messages on the salesman's personal cell phone and two with the office for them to call me back, but nobody ever got back to me. I had to go somewhere else and buy my doors. I thought that the guys at the office were kind of snotty.

They were punctual, thoughtful and cleaned up completely after themselves.

Install was completed quickly and professionally. The installers arrived around 7 am and were completed by 11 am. Everything was picked up after the installation was completed. Window World guarantees their product for life and will perform repair / replacement on any problems including Glass Breakage free under the warrantee. I have not had to test this although I talked to the owner recently and he reminded me of their guarantee policy. New windows have been excellent.

Window World did an outstanding job! They were on time, efficient, extremely polite. I love my new windows and the overall experience was excellent!
