Description of Work: They found the tank and clean out access (2 feet from surface) and cleaned the 1,500 gallon septic tank which had not been pumped since installation in 1984. They offered suggestions for reducing water consumption and explained how I could install a riser system from the clean out plug to make the tank more accessible for future cleaning (I did this myself in about 2 hours.). The company completed the job quickly and did not charge more than advertised. The owner followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the job and had any additional question. This is a very professional company!

Description of Work: I contacted this company to set-up septic tank services on 1 May 12 around 12:20pm after being referred to them by another company in SC. The lady who answered the phone left me on an open line while she talked about baby seats and 6'1 guys she was interessd in. She continued to talk to other customers while I ws on the phone until I eventually hung up in disbelief. Her lack of professionalism did not allow me to set up an appointment for the services I needed and seems to be a pattern in my opinion to the type of companies I have contacedt listed under angies list. I thought Angie's list was created to help consumers share experiences and hire the best companies for services needed however after contact at least 3 companies on this list I was very disappointed.

Description of Work: Have used Burnley's for several septic tank pumpings. On time, professional, and takes care of your yard.

Description of Work: Mr. Burnley is the owner of the company. When he arrived (on Wednesday Dec. 7th) to assess the job, I could tell immediately, he new his profession. There was a wet spot in my back yard, and I thought (and hoped) all it was was a broken drain pipe from the septic tank to the drain field. He explained that the septic tank would still have to be pumped out, initially and that the line would have to be inspected from the tank to the drain field. He called and had the appropriate people come out to the house to mark the underground utility lines (gas, water, phone, cable and electric). This was done within two hours after he came out to my house. He also arranged with the county health department to have an inspector present both the day he assessed the job and the actual day of the work (THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT!). He arrived on time Friday morning and got right to work. He had two helpers that I later learned are his son and stepson. Again, very courteous and professional. The county inspector remained on sight the entire time the ditch was dug, old drain pipe removed, and new drain pipe was installed. Once all the connections were made, and the county inspector was satisfied everything was up to code, Mr. Burnley and his crew were given the green light to cover things up. Additionally, a new cover was made for the septic tank with an access port, so in the future, if the septic tank would have to be pumped out, it won't require digging to find the top of the septic tank.
