Description of Work: They inspected my malfunctioning heating and cooling system and found a rusted out air exchanger. Dangerous! Getting a new unit from them next week.

Description of Work: I have a home warranty, but they could not do some repair work for us, however, they did the check-ups and went the extra mile to change the vents since they were pointing wrong way. They also very supportive and informational even though I could not use their services and they let me know about things to be aware of with other companies. Very caring.

Description of Work: The tech, Harold, was very knowledgeable and professional. He had to bypass a control board and install a motor to get me immediate cooling. The data plate on the old motor was unreadable. So, he installed a standard air-conditioning motor. | |I called a day or two later and complained that I could not get enough cooling. He returned and researched the problem. He had to access computer information to find that the original motor rotated much faster the normal replacement motor. He apologized repeatedly for making a reasonable mistake. As a former maintenance trainer, I found his mistake, if one calls it that, was one that any really experienced tech could have made, by assuming that this was a normal application. I was not charged for this visit. A&B ordered a new control board and motor for me and promised the repair the next Friday. My only complaint is that they did not appear on Friday and did not contact me. They made no contact with me until all the parts arrived the next week, when Harold called to be sure I would be here for the installation of motor and control board. Once the new parts were installed the system would not function. Harold had to call the board manufacturer to ascertain why he had a strange error code. The result was that the manufacturer had left a jumper off the new board. Harold made a jumper and my system now works great. I was not charged for the first motor or any of Harold's trouble shooting time. Therefore, my only complaint through the whole involved process was a lack of communication from the office. The tech was one of the best in every way.
