Description of Work: When I called to setup an appointment I was told that they charge extra to add freon & I thought it was included in the services they provided.

Description of Work: Scheduled a tune up with 1lb of freon. It did not go well. The freon did not apply to my older unit and he described about $500 in additional work. I declined. The next day the system went down completely. He left a wire improperly connected. Another company did work he described and it was $85.00. They were not very honest with me. He said Angie's List gets the $39.00 and they make their money on repairs. No thanks!

Description of Work: I love this company! Tyler was prompt and professional. He completed the basic work (HVAC tune up) and pointed out several areas of concern with pictures to explain. He made sure that I was safe by shutting off the gas to my furnace (leaky old ducts). | |I will continue to use R. Wiley for my heating and air needs! |

Description of Work: Job was fine. One minor thing... Did not realize he needed to go in my bedroom and things were knocked over.

Description of Work: I had to very old AC units that were in a home that was just purchased. Technician was honest enough to tell me he could get them working (though the efficiency would not be as good as new systems) which saved me thousands of dollars to in new HVAC installation. He didn't try to upsell which I was very appreciative of.

Description of Work: Changed filter, replaced capacitor, replaced contactor, added freon, added refrigerant leak seal, cleaned condenser coil & started and tested air conditioner.

Description of Work: Wel, had them come out for a tune up. He did kind of "sales call" me, and sold me on a coil cleaning for 100, and capacitor replacemnt for 100. Oveall cost of 249. It was the outside coil, so I actually think its a bit high for just spraying solution on it and then spraying it off. The 100 for the capacitor replacement is very reasonable. Actually its very reasonable for both, comparatively. The only reason I am giving a B, is I am a bit of a do it yourself-er.....I would have replaced that capacitor if I did not have 100 other things to deal with being i just moved in. Also think an outside coil cleaning should be about $50 at most. | |I do wish however they would have left the "old" capacitor, just for good measure. Overall good service, I would call them again for sure.
