I entered a verbal agreement, based on a written proposal, on March 23 for landscape work to be performed with a priority on a boulder type retaining wall to stop erosion created during recent yard work. A bobcat was used on the site March 29 to prepare the area. As of May 3, the work was not begun on the erosion wall area - rocks (boulders?) delivered May 2. Mulch and pine straw plus a short rock lined walkway were prepared and mostly washed away over the course of the weeks when work was NOT performed on the main project area. On May 3, I asked him to remove all equipment from my property and provide and itemized statement of labor and materials. As of my last email correspondence on June 7, he has refused to do so, claiming this request is unreasonable. I have since hired another person to perform the critical erosion control.
