I called Cody Dawkins after seeing a walkway that he did at our church in Jasper, GA. He came out very quickly and we discussed my ideas along with size and shape of the patio. He then left and emailed me a quote with a rendering of the project. This was so nice so we could visualize the finished patio. We then set a start date. Cody showed up with 2 helpers and was on the job at all times. He even came on the saturday before Easter to finish by himself since the weather wasn't cooperative during the week. We were very pleased with the way everything turned out and working with Cody was very pleasant. I have recommended him to others, who have used him with the same excellent results.

I met with a variety of contractors (decking, concrete, etc) in my search for the perfect outdoor space for my house. Cody was one of the last contractors I met with, and he ended up being the perfect choice for us. Due to the way our house is situated, we knew we were going to have to do some grading work no matter what we chose for our house, and the patio ended up being our choice. Cody's guys built a beautiful retaining wall, brought in backfill, crushed stone, dug footers for the patio, laid a LOT of rebar, and poured a phenomenally beautiful concrete patio with 3 colors and a great slate stamp pattern. The project took a few days to complete, and took some rearranging due to weather issues for the actual pour date, but the job went very smooth overall. The finished project is more than I could have imagined in the first place, and I feel like I got a real bargain since we came in a little under budget, and this is a space that will require little maintenance, and should last a very long time. We had a few minor snags along the road (a lily plant that got destroyed on accident), but Cody was very quick to rectify the problems, and was great to work with. I have recommended him to a number of people so far, and will continue to do so because he has a great work ethic and does a great job.
