Excellent overall. We had three companies come out and Bid on this work. The first two came in at $9,500 and $9,300. Then we had Tom from Turn Key Decks come out. Tom spent a lot more time getting to understand exactly what we wanted. He made two different trips to the house just to plan and layout the deck. There were several challenges with this deck. 1st was our plans to put a Hot tub on the deck so it had to be built to support it. Second was the placement of the posts as I intended to use the deck as a Drive under car port and still wanted access to the Garage Door that the deck was being built over. Tom took the time to design a lay out that would work and then came back with scale drawings that we were able to go over and work out the finishing details.. Then he gave me the Quote. Honestly I was a little Leary because they were so much cheaper than the other two quotes I had received. After adding a Privacy Wall, All Screws and a Pattern to the Deck Boards to the project, His bid was $6,500. The terms left little to worry about.. $2K when they dropped the materials and the rest due on completion. Construction started on Tuesday and was completed by Friday at noon. The crew was professional and onsite and ready to work at 7:30am. All English Speaking American Crew. Construction went smoothly and we added a couple things such as a Gate for the Privacy wall and repairs to another deck for basically the costs of materials. They cleaned up everything well when the job was done and I could not be happier with the new deck. I got much more than I expected for the money. Only complaint was there was one deck board that was cut about 1/2 inch too short that is right outside the entrance to the deck. Otherwise the deck is flawless. We had a Halloween party this past weekend on the deck with over 50 people it and it was rock solid. Also as on last bonus, I mentioned I was looking for a used Hot tub to go on the deck and one of the crew happened to have one they didn't use anymore and were looking to get rid of. They gave it to me and it is now installed on the deck. Bang for the Buck, These guys are great.
