Sesma was very easy to work with. They provided consultation and advice on what should be removed. The work was done promptly and exactly as we had discussed. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Work was performed ahead of schedule and all went smoothly. They took care not to damage any other trees or plants, or our fence. They cleaned up everything before they left.

Went great. Several large limbs were overhanging the house and parking area, but they cut them down without any issues. They used the bucket, rather than climbing, which my yard allowed for.

I scheduled the service at the end of March and the service was performed at the middle of July. We had several misunderstanding about the timing but at the end everything turned out great.

The entire process was excellent from initial quote to the end of the job. Sesmas was able to schedule us earlier than expected, the crew arrived early, and completed the job very quickly. They did exactly what was needed, and did not pressure for anything extra. The stump grinding was done within the week when it was promised. Will definitely use them again for our next job.

They did a great job! The tree was huge and they had to use a crane, but they knew what they were doing! Theirs was the best price quote I received. It was more than one thousand dollars less than two other quotes.

From start to finish, I had a great experience with Sesmas Tree Service. I worked with Ricardo, and he was great. He called me the same day I sent a request by email for a quote, and he made arrangements to review the services I requested for the same date as well. I never felt pressured or like he was trying to sell me on services that were unneeded, which I often encounter when trying to get quotes for home service providers. He did recommend removing one tree on my property that was not part of my initial request, but after looking at it with him, it was obvious it was dying and needed to be removed, so I was grateful for the recommendation (after it was cut down, the whole inside was hollow!). After the initial quote, I decided to do some additional work and asked Ricardo to give me a new quote. Again, he promptly came back out to my property and quickly gave me a new quote. On the day of the service, they arrived on time and got right to work. They cut all the trees and cleaned up the limbs and surrounding area nicely. They had to send another truck to pick up the large tree trunks a day later, which again arrived as scheduled. Overall, it was a pleasure working with them. I can’t express enough how nice it was to work with a company that did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and for the price they quoted with no hidden fees that popped up at the time of the service. They did a great job, and I would use them again.

The project was completed as expected. And we have used Sesmas Tree Service for multiple projects over the past few years. And as their high level of professionalism and quality work, speaks for itself, several of my neighbors have used them for both large and small tree related services as well.

Owner Noel Sesmas came out and gave us a very thorough overview of our trees' health and a reasonable estimate to do the work. On the agreed day, a very professional, well-trained and large (8 men?) crew arrived and went right to work. They were careful not to damage the roof and even blew all the leaves out of the gutters at no additional charge. The entire job, including cleanup, took less than an hour. Marie in the office maintained excellent communications. I probably could have gotten the work done a little cheaper, but it could not have been better.

I hired Sesmas to service several larger trees in my yard. They were able to get to me pretty quickly and were professional and easy to work with. I did try to hire them for another job. I wish they had returned my several calls to perform the additional work, but I have no complaints with the work they did for me.

After the first contact, estimator came next day. I was unable to be at home, so he arrived at my property and we discussed the job details over the phone. A price and date (later that week) was agreed on the spot and I received the quote that evening. The team was a no-show on the arranged day. Called the estimator and was informed they needed to attend to a major emergency for an existing customer. Understandable, mine was not an emergency, but I would have appreciated a heads-up, especially since I had to ask to work from home that day. The team did come, as arranged, the following business day. I was unable to be at home, but they carried out the job as expected. They cut up the trunk that had fallen over the fence, as well as several feet beyond and cleaned up the stump. The debris was stacked up on-site (as requested, to save money) away from the fence, and they did a great job cleaning up the surrounding debris of broken branches and other small trees that were damaged. The job was finished within a week of first contact. Overall, very pleased with the price and quick turn-around.

The tree removal was performed well. One of the stumps was not fully ground down so I contact them. The first person came out and said yes it looked like it wasn't fully done and would be corrected. Later they called and said the "Boss" said it would be a charge to come out and correct the problem. My yard now has the 2 spots where the trees were removed. One is nice and flat, the other has 3 large pieces of stump showing.

We had another estimate from a vendor for cutting down a tree and trimming branches so that the house would be clear of debris for a new roof. Both bids had two parts - trim the trees and cut down an entire tree. Or just trim all the trees so there was nothing within 12 ft of the roof. We decided to go w/ the trim as cutting down a tree was going to be 1000. This person was so nice on the phone, that I let him rebid the job. He cut the bid by about 30 and I decided to let them do the job. There was so much rain that the job was delayed several times. Then when they were done, there were still branches touching the back gutter. And the trees on top of the house were also to close to the roof. I talked to the roofer and he said that he didn't think they were 12 ft. But, that we should measure. But, that he agreed with me that they were too close. I talked to them on the phone & they said that we were mistaken & that the only way was to take down the trees. I said I felt that two more branches could come down and that would get the low lying from dropping on our new roof. He said he didnt agree but that it was his job to make customer's happy and that he would come take care of it. Almost a month later, we get an invoice with no explanation. I sent the owner a text saying that 2 more branches would make me happy. He sent back texts laden with !'s points and was not interested in doing anything more. He was very rude and the job was not finished. You are going to quibble about 2 branches and maybe 1 ft of extra clearance. I think we should wait to pay when we get leaves back on the trees. He obviously waited a month until the leaves all fell off so that there would be no weight on the branches. The job was barely done but what is worse is language from the owner. I should have never tried to give this smaller business a chance. Stick w/ 404-Cut--trees. Then you get a diagram of everything they are going to do and not just 'I will take care of it' over the phone. DONT USE THEM I got someone else to finish this job after waiting a month and being told they were not coming back - unless I gave them more money. I just didnt trust them back on my property after the nasty phone calls from the billing person and the hate filled texts from the tree person saying the job was 100% done!!! I deducted 10% off the bill and mailed them the check. They said they would return my check and sue me. They had 30 days from my initial complaint and only AFTER I posted here did they even offer to discuss it. I

Some notes: When I called, Noel was usually available to discuss right away and come out by the next day. The process to decide upon a contract was very agreeable... they came out twice to be sure we would be happy with what we thought we wanted. They were patient and helpful in determining the best work to perform. No pressure. Price could range of course depending upon the work chosen. Estimates were at or better than others. Work proceeded well and the workers were very respectful of family matters (dealing with dog, schedules, etc). Cleanup was great. All as expected.

Noel contacted me within a few hours of my email request for consult. He arrived and looked at the job. He did NOT encourage the removal of ANYTHING; instead he listened and offered feedback on what I wanted. He provided a written estimate, business card, and liability/insurance information at the conclusion of consult. It required another few days before his crew could come do the job, but Noel called me twice during that time to confirm my schedule and availability. On job day, a crew of 7 arrived and got right to work. I appreciated the branding on the vehicles and professional appearance of the group. I was amazed at the speed and organization of the group. They moved quickly (some working on the oaks; some on the pines) and efficiently. I observed utmost concern for our property as they operated. Sesmas finished the project within 4 1/2 hours. They had to leave the tree trunks in a neat pile at the top of the property, but as promised they returned the next day and hauled them off. I should add that Noel responded to a text messaged question I had during the actual service, and he quickly contacted his job foreman with my request (to take down one more tree!). Price was reasonable for the combination of services, and given the professionalism and overal quality, I would hire again without hesitation.

I contacted Sesmas to trim 2 oak trees and remove a limb from a pecan tree. Noel came out and gave us an estimate for the work that was lower than the other quotes we got. We went with them and Alex and another gentleman came out within a few days to complete the work. When Alex was getting ready to remove the limb, there was some confusion about exactly what he was removing. He tried to call Noel but couldn?t get a hold of him so we told them to just trim the 2 oak trees and we asked if Noel could come back out to look at the big tree again. We paid (by check) what we were quoted in the estimate to trim the 2 trees. It took a week to hear back from someone and on that Friday, we got an invoice in the mail saying we owed another $80. We called to find out why but they were already closed for the weekend. On Monday, Noel came out and looked at the pecan tree again and gave us an estimate. We asked about the $80 charge, he said it was wrong and that he would take care of it, which he did. Since we liked the work they did on the 2 smaller trees we booked them for the limb removal on the big tree. Alex and a much bigger crew came out this time and removed the limb from the pecan tree. However they were throwing the limbs and branches over the fence and managed to damage two boards on our fence. When they were done we asked Alex about it but he ignored us. We paid what Noel quoted us. We got another invoice in the mail, but this one had the ?please remit? box whited out. Considering we paid, we didn?t think anything of it. Three weeks after the work was performed we got a call saying that we haven?t paid for the work yet and they asked when we would be sending in a payment. After we told them we paid by check they managed to find it.

I have used Sesma tree service in the past and had no problems, however, this time it was a different experience. They came and cut down 5 trees, in the process they proceeded to destroy the plants and shrubs around the trees. In their contract it says they will take care and concern while taking down trees, as I watched them work, there was no care or concern taken as they trampled the shrubs and bushes around them. In addition to ruining these shrubs, they took down a tree in the front yard that was not authorized to come down. Needless to say, I will not be calling them in the future.

This is the second big job we had hired Sesmas for. They were great to work with both times. The first time we had them come out we had 7 trees taken down and this past time we opted to have a very large red oak cut down that was very close to our house. Gray was our contact person and he was always very professional, nice, and knowledgable. Sesmas' quote was much cheaper than all the other tree companies we contacted. The day of service they came out with a crew of guys and had our very large tree down by afternoon. They cleaned up the job nicely and everything went as expected. I would definitely hire them in the future.

The service turned out excellent. They did a great job. They cleaned it all up. They were really large trees and it was a lot of work. They also got rid of the stump and so there was nothing left. They were very professional. They come when they say they are going to. They actually do the job right. I wouldn’t call anybody else for tree service. I could have gone and got it done for cheaper but the quality is good.
