The guy who coordinated was very responsive. Some of the workers weren't as communicative. Overall the experience was a positive one. They were timely. They did a fair job of cleaning up.

The roofing company came by and fixed my roof for free. They were very professional and very nice to come back and fix their mistake for free. They were great. I would hire them again.

Very pleasant to deal with. On time. The special order skylights were well measured and seem to have been well installed, both functionally and esthecially -- no heavy rain yet but apparently OK. But there were roof nails in the driveway for a month afterward in spite of two return visits with magnets, the oven exhaust fan had to be dismantled to get out all the many pieces of roofing that had fallen in the chimney, and several of the gutters are not yet decently attached. I might hire them again, but with much caveat.

Overall, I'm very happy with the work. The subcontractor who installed the gutters had to come back at the Housworth Roofing rep's request. Then I was satisfied with the job.

We had hail damage due to the storms here in Georgia this spring. After meeting with the insurance adjuster it was determined that we would need a new roof and gutter system. I did not look forward to finding and dealing with a roofing company. I planned to get three quotes, Housworth was my first appointment. Richard came out to give me the estimate, he was so nice and friendly, I couldn't help but want to choose his company right from the start! However, I did not, I obtained two other bids, then chose Housworth! They have been in business for many decades, get great reviews and do a lot of roofs. We have a large house and once the work began (which took about a week to schedule) they were totally finished with the roof in less than two days! Next we had the house painted, then the new nicer, wider gutters were put up on the day of my choice. Also, after the roof was done, they cleaned up well and I observed them doing a nail sweep twice. Any time I needed something I quickly got an answer or a response. If you are looking for a company that is always available and that will do a good job, Housworth is a great choice!

Richard did a super job representing Housworth and answering all questions before during and after the installation. The crew was professional. They came and did the work with a double crew in one day as bad weather was predicted for the next day (remember the tornados?). They cleaned up well, except for the pool area which ended up with lots of small debris. We were able to clean it up without a hitch. Two days later they came and did a few minor things that needed touching up. The roof looks great, easily survived the horrendous storms and have had many compliments from neighbors. Richard negotiated a great price and was concerned about our total satisfaction as customers. Housworth did the job for easily $3,000 less than an offer from competitor.

There was significant damage from the tree and all work was done very well. The initial urgent issue was to get the house closed in and it was in one day, which wasn't a small job! Down to the details - it was all done. After a walk through, they were more than willing to come back for a few items that we wanted more work. We will definitely call them again for work!!

Overall they did a great job at a fair price. Richard (the owner) showed up to do the quote and was very friendly. Recommended I replace the chimney cap which was rusted and to move a couple of vents. I said OK. Delivered the wrong shingles the day before but that was quickly corrected. Install went well. They covered all the plants but did not cover the metal portico roof nor the metal roof over the garage doors. As a result there's a very minor ding and some scratches as a result removing the shingles. They offered to fix but I declined as it's not really noticeable. Calvin came out to give me warranty and we went over the job. Chimney cap was crooked and he said he would get that fixed. Has not been done yet. Also asked him to give me a quote on pressure washing the house. Have not heard anything on that either.

Chad Chapel managed the project and was very good at presenting new options for the roof to avoid future leaks. The crew was timely in their installation. During the installation, they replaced small areas of decking that had become suspect. Existing furnace vents were painted and new lead boots were installed. In addition, the crew installed a ridge ventilation system to meet the manufacturer's warranty requirements.

It was a great experience as we did not really know where to begin to find a contractor. Richard Anderson is the most professional construction rep that I have met. In addition, the work was done quickly and to specification. The quality of the siding replacement and paint job was excellent. Chad supervised the job and was attentive to my wife's needs. The most impressive thing that happened however was that just before we left town for a week, the roof began to leak again. We called Richard and he immediately sent someone out to put a tarp on the roof until we returned. Upon our return, they came out and fixed the leak correctly. I was impressed that after he had our money, they actually stood by the workmanship warranty. Until Houseworth, our experience with that type of thing had been awful. We will be using Houseworth again.

Good experience. The rep. arrived at the scheduled time, was polite, and gave a prompt estimate. Once the contract was signed, work was scheduled and started on time. The workers where neat and cleaned up the job site. Quality of work was good. On the day of the installation it was too cold to pain the chimney corner posts. The workers came back the next day to paint. They could have painted when it was too cold and not bothered to return but instead chose to do quality work, even if it meant another trip to my house. I have no complaints.

This project was completed in a professional and timely manner in accord with the pre-construction timetable. All work was first class and clean-up was performed on a daily basis. The project couldn't have gone smoother. I highly recommend this company.

Scheduling was prompt and crew was on time. Weather affected completion time line, but the crew was back out to finish the job as soon as possible. Work completed in a very professional manner.

Richard Anderson was very professional in explaining and estimating the work to be done on my house. No hard sell - just facts to provide good cost vs. benefits analysis. The main job was scheduled and completed within less of a week after placing the order. The project manager made sure I was always informed about the stage of the job from A - Z. Overall, I felt my house was in good hands and that the associates were committed to delivering a great customer service experience. All my concerns or issues were addressed promptly and to my satisfaction. As a result, I also used them for interior drywall and paint work.

Richard Anderson arrived on time, was courteous and explained in detail all of the possibilities. He then went up on the roof and came down and explained what he needed to do and how much that would cost. He quoted me a more than fair price, then proceeded with the work. When he was done he came in and showed my the old boots and explained why they went bad.

The job went well from start to finish.

We dealt with Richard. He was wonderful. They set up an appointment for an estimate on the following Tuesday when we called. They tried to fit us in before and came on Saturday, but we were not home. They came back on Tuesday, gave the estimate, and did the job all in the same day. They are great people to work with.

They always were available to answer my calls and answer all the questions I had. They were earlier than they were supposed to be and they used premium materials. The price competitive also.

Overall, Houseworth did an outstanding job. They removed the old shingles, replaced rotten decking, replaced vent boots, applied flashing, installed new shingles, reattached existing gutter system, and replaced the gutter tops with better ones. They even painted the white and silver vents to make them blend in with the roof. The quality of the work was superb. They take great pride in doing quality work. After the job was completed, Richard gave me a personal tour of my new roof.

Job was completed in one day, with a few minor issues. Crew had to return to do a second nail sweep, after I found nails in my driveway, and Housworth paid to have my HVAC technician come and fix a problem, that cut off power to my digital thermostat.

They were very quick to call me and set up a time to visit/see the damage. All throughout the process they were very helpful to me by explaining and giving me options. I never felt like I could not get in touch with someone if I needed to and I feel that the pricing was very fair for the quality work that was done.

We thought they were great. Did estimate when requested and agreed to meet competitor's labor warranty. Pricing was good. Answered all my questions on roofing and roofing options. Arrived in a timely manner and finished the job in one day. Did high quality work at a fair price. Did a good job with cleanup. Had to install a higher priced skylight due to fit and did not charge more than original quote. We really liked the rep, Richard Anderson, who did an excellent job of supervising the project and ensuring we got what we wanted. He was very professional and friendly!

Overall, we were pleased with this company. We had to ask them to come out and follow up on a few things, but they came right away and fixed the problem. They were professional and they knew what they were doing. They also did a good job cleaning up the mess when the job was completed.

They did such an excellent job temporarily patching up our roof that we decided to give them the first chance on a bid to completely replace the roof with new, architectural shingles this summer. They won the bid against another few competitors, and we are excited to have them return and work on our roof this summer. They are very professional, clean up well and we recommend them highly.
