I thought it went well but their quote was exceptionally high. They gave me a number that was much higher than what I ended up spending to get the work done.

Richard Anderson and the head painter of his crew, Aaron, was out to give me an estimate right away. They gave me some ideas of what they thought would work in different areas. They were both very helpful in giving me ideas on color for walls, trim and what to do with the fireplace and bathroom textured wall. Richard said he would get a price back to me that evening or the next day. Then he rang the doorbell right after I thought they left to give me an estimate on the spot. I had explained to him that I had 2 other companies out already that hadn't got back to me with estimates. I had to call and ask for them several days later and then there was no follow up. His price was right in line with what I wanted to spend so we scheduled the time to start. Aaron and his painting crew arrived right on time and were all very professional. They finished quicker than I expected them too. I completely trusted having them in my house while I was at work. After they completed, I went through the house to look for anything I thought could use a touch up or I wanted something else done to. They were out within a couple days to fix those to my satisfaction. Following the punch out, Richard came back out with Aaron to walk through the house and make sure I was happy with everything. Richard knew I wanted to do granite countertops next so we started that conversation. But my cabinets looked dingy with the new paint so we talked about painting the cabinets. I will be doing one or the other next with Housworth.

Our Sales Person Richard was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. One of the main reasons we went with Housworth was when we learned that Richard would be on-site throughout the project. That gave us sense continuity with the work we were having done. We were very impressed with all of the work teams. They showed up on time and were very courteous. Another plus was that Housworth sent a roof crew that was large enough to complete the roof in one day. The clean-up and care for our property was excellent.

Please see above. Replacing a roof is a major expense, and a big commitment, especially when replacing an asphalt shingle roof with a metal one. This was one of the few companies on Angie's List that installed metal roofs so we were eager to get an estimate. When they failed to come through on the very first step of the process, it made me question their ability to follow through with the major part of the job.

I set and appointment and Richard was right on time. He was very professional and friendly. He understood my needs and did not try to oversell me. He explained everything in detail and he was onsite to oversee the job. Everything went according to plan and I am very satisfied with this company.

Their quote was high. I looked them up on Angie’s list. I was not particularly impressed with them. The guy did not seem to know as much as I expected them to.

Estimator arrived promptly as scheduled and did an inspection; provided a professional report with pictures and recommendation that was in line with my expectations. This was the 3rd of 3 companies that I called and I will call them again (and probably use them) when the roof is replaced.

Found the company on Angie's List, called to obtain an estimate for a complete gutter and roof replacement. The estimator visited four days later and explained that the company would email a quote within a few days. I called them twice when the email was not received. On the first call I left a message. On the second call a week later talked with the estimator who said that he would send a quote that day and follow up with a call to ensure the email was received. No email and no calls were received from the company's representatives. We had to choose another company.

.They came out and filled a contract and I had to call them back to find out what the status was on the estimate. They said they will get back with me since they lost my paperwork. It is really an unorganized company. They sent out one of their contractors out here and I kept in contact with him. He turned in the paperwork for the estimate but nobody ever returned a phone call or anything to me. So when I called them to ask them what the status was since I sort of liked their company. They apologized and promised to get back on it. In other words I had to take all the initiative for them to move. I will not consider them to give me a quote in the future.

They were a super service award winner which is why I decided to use them. They did a pretty good job. They were really great at communicating before I decided to use them but when they were actually doing the work the communication wasn't quite as good. I haven't had any trouble with my roof yet, and hopefully I won't in my future. Their pricing was very competitive. They were very happy to work with me to have an affordable price.

Housworth was very professional. I got a full estimate before work began and it was not exceeded. All of the work was well done and on time.

Richard, who came out to do the estimate, was very professional. He was by far the most professional among the people, who came out to give the estimate. He also gave the most thorough estimate. He did a better job than the others. The total bill was for $8500. My experience with them was very good. They were not the cheapest among the estimates I had received. I will use them again in the future.

We had sold our house and had an inspectors punch list. He stayed in communication which was nice as there was a delay with the skylight glass. All the work was done well and on time.

I called for an estimate on siding repair and left them a message. They were extremely persistent in calling me back, calling me three or more times before I had time to call them back. James visited on a Saturday to view the work and provide an estimate. Our immediate need was siding repair, but we had a lot of other "jobs" that needed to be done. I felt bad having them do one simple siding repair job, so I requested estimates on the siding repair, fence repair, pressure wash and staining of two decks and exterior house paint. Jim said he'd email me the estimate that night. Four days later, I hadn't received an email so I called Jim's cell phone and left a message. Another two days later, no estimate or phone call. I called the office. They said Jim had emailed me the estimate. The office admin emailed me and cc'ed Jim asking Jim to email me the estimate again. Six days later, I still do not have an estimate. I was particularly disappointed because he was going to have someone temporarily patch the hole in our siding so we wouldn't receive water damage from the rain. That also never happened.

They left a favorable impression on me. I didn’t want to spend all of that money but everyone I got a quote from was expensive. He seemed professional, he was well-groomed, and he was pretty smart about what needed to be done and what did not need to be done.

I am happy with the repair work. I originally called Housworth to replace some missing shingles and a turtle vent that was broken. Their inspector (Richard) came out to do the estimate and advised me the roofing system had severe wind damage and that my insurance would likely cover it. Richard was on the roof while I was on the ground. He demonstrated how the shingle adhesive line was not sticking and he picked up a whole bunch of shingles easily. I went up the ladder onto the roof; surprising Richard. He immediately noticed my discomfort walking on the roof and he took my hand and led me around showing the issues. He really calmed me down. Richard came out a second time when my insurance adjuster performed his inspection. While the adjuster was inspecting / measuring, Richard pulled up a satellite view of the home and had me confirm it was mine. Then they produced a report showing all the measurements and materials required -- all from the satellite photos -- very cool. Richard recommended roofing colors, ventilation options and left samples for me and wife to review. I am an engineer and wanted to install ventilation in the attic and wanted to confirm the engineering calculations needed to establish correct ventilation for a whole house fan. I was coming up with numbers that did not seem correct and called RIchard to ask questions about adding supply vents. Richard said I did not need any since the soffits are open beneath the shingles. He came out and showed me this feature (3rd visit). It really eased my concerns and saved me from installing about 12 under eave vents at $60 each. We scheduled the work and Richard's team scheduled the work within 5 days. The materials were dropped off the day before along with a dumpster. The next day, work commenced. Richard's guys use ropes to keep themselves on the roof and do not use toeboards. Toeboards are strips of lumber nailed through the lower shingles (just installed!!) so the workers can shingle up higher while having something to stand upon. The roofers are supposed to fill these holes with sealant -- my builder did not. That caused rot. Richard's guys eliminated this potential completely. We upgraded to architectural 100 MPH shingles and ridge vents. The holes beneath the old turtle vents were cut away and replaced. The whole job took 13 hours to complete. They pick up the trash and magnetically sweep for nails. Afterwards, its hard to tell they were there. No real effort on my part. I am happy with the appearance and have peace of mind the roof is good! YAY!! I am in the process of installing a retractable awning over my deck. Richard saw this and gave me the telephone number for his siding person who can help with the install to ensure its anchored correctly. I appreciated his tips. Richard took the time to explain everything that is happening and he reduces your anxiety. I will use him again.

We evaluated many roofers for our roof replacement. Houseworth was the one we chose because the salesman James was really very professional and provided detail into every single aspect of roof replacement. He gave us a very detailed quote. James followed up with us along the way, was present at the time of roof replacement. Once we got the insuance claim approved - James walked us thro' line by line the details contained in it. The replacement process itself was great - crew showed up as expected on time, completed the work on time and did a very clean job. At the end of the job we were provided with a completion report and that was faxed to our insurance by James closing out the process. Overall fantastic experience, Didnt pay a single penny more than what was quoted for the roof replacement.

They showed up when they said they would and finished when they said they would. It was a little demanding on their part for things to come up for them, but they still continued to meet their schedule. They did a really good job. They were very reasonable too. We had negotiated on the price.

I don’t remember exactly how much I spent. I liked everything about them. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They did a very thorough job. I’m happy that I haven’t had any problems since they completed the work. I’ve never seen how this is done before and so I don’t know how it is actually put down but they actually removed the entire cap and took it down. They put on a new one and hoisted it up. It was a little bit more expensive than I thought it would be. I thought they were reasonable with their price. I would use their services again in the future.

Housworth did a great job. They provided a prompt visit and a fair quote. They worked with my insurance adjuster to get the entire roof covered. They arrived on time and did the roof in one day and siding the next. The surprises and changes were minimal. They consulted me for any major decision that needed to be made. Great job. Would definitely do business again in the future.

The quote that Jason A. gave was extremely detailed as well as pointed out any discrepancies my insurance appraisal hadn't shared. He was extremely informative. After being my third bid on replacing my roof, the services provided as well as the professional work and attitudes, I'm very satisfied that I opted to use their company. Phil and his crew were very knowledgeable and helpful. It's an added bonus that my flower beds and yard were left unscathed and spotless. I can't say enough good things about them and the quality of their work as a whole team.
