Description of Work: Tried to get me to replace my roof when all I needed was a patch to stop a leak. Went with another company from Angie's list.

Description of Work: They put on a new roof and porch. We were not told when they would finish the job, they just showed up. They did good work, with the exception of the stair rail. They did not put a top on the rail. Their communication was bad. Also, we had an argument about a coupon I had. The office girl was very rude to me. I would not use them again.

Description of Work: I used houseworth after buying their special online. Let me start by saying they received a C from me for the actual paint job. Not their professionalism or their attendance. I met with Tony who was a pleasure to work with. I was told originally by Laurie on the phone that they were able to use any paint that I picked. I know the ad said Shermin Williams but the colors I fell in love with was from Benjamin Moore. I told Tony exactly what I wanted painted and he let his workers know. They were on time and respectful. However, we did have an issue with the paint because they spent a good part of day one trying to color match my paint with Shermin Williams paint to get the right color from this company. The painting was fine and looked good at first but I waited this long to write the review because I needed to do so many touch ups which I wasn't happy with. Tony did tell me to call him but it made no sense. I believe if they actually painted the rooms with two coats or used a higher grade of paint I would not have seen so many spots that were not covered. The edging around the doors and trim was substandard. It would have been cleaner and better if they weren't trying to finish so quickly. The whole job took three days but I would not have minded if it took another day just to make sure after the entire place was done that these little things were taken care of. Tony did come back himself and fill nail holes after the place the painted. He sanded down the area and applied a coat of paint. The problem with this method is that you can see every spot that was sanded down and paint. I went around the entire areas painted for the past month to do touch ups and in some areas painted the entire wall so that it looked even and not full of touch up spots. I was a little disappointed because I hired them so I did not have to do all of that work myself. This is a new house built earlier this year so I did not do the trim, doors or baseboards. However, when I asked for the price for these just in case we decided to do it. The price was more for those items than painting the walls. My home has an open concept so not to many walls to paint. Please note that they are going by sq. footage on the floor not the walls. Like I said the workers were nice and professional but I was not satisfied with my finished results after you see all of the imperfections once they were gone.

Description of Work: The person for the 1st appointment for service estimate went to the wrong location, I drove over 30 miles to the correct location only to have to return 2 days later. I informed the person that this was a rush job, that it is a rental property and I needed the estimate back asap. It has been over a week and I have not seen an estimate or heard from Housworth. I called and left a message for a returned call. Because of the delay I had to make other arrangements for the painting.

Description of Work: These guys are great, the came out, spec'd the job offered an interim solution to meet the immediate need and did great. Would use them again!

Description of Work: I asked Houswroth to evaluate my roof and gutters. Richard Anderson came out on 5/29/12, climbed on the roof and took photos of the roof. We then discussed the roof and gutter issues. He kept expanding the focus of the visit. He gave me the photos and wanted $225 for the evaluation report that was delivered via email later. He quoted prices for roof, gutter, soffit, facia, house painting. When I asked for clarification, Houseworth said I would need another inspection. Later I climbed on the roof and inspected it myself. None of the Houseworth photos showed the rear porch roof where facia had separated from under a sagging gutter. Houseworth, in my opinion, did a bate and switch. They should not be trusted.

Description of Work: Eugene with Housworth Roofing of Atlanta, GA Ph. 770-622-5123, came to my home and did a thorough inspection of my roof that needed repair. He showed me exactly what needed to be done and what Housworth would do and then completed the work in a timely manner. Eugene and Housworth were professional and punctual and did a great job. It was done quickly and they made an effort (and were successful!) in getting the work done before it rained again. It rained heavily soon after the work was done and the roof held up and we had no trouble with our indoor ceilings after that. My husband and I thank Housworth and Eugene for their great work. Description of Work: Asked for estimate on re-roofing our home. Representative arrived promptly, was courteous, seemed knowledgeable and was responsive to our specific requests. Went with another company due to difference in price estimate.

Description of Work: Replaced roof with upgrade, removed fan vents (using different venting system), replace parts around bottom of chimney, replace chimney cap, replace two skylights, repair ceiling where roof leaked.

Description of Work: They replaced our entire roof . They used 30-year, shingles that look fabulous! Scott and his crew did a superb job for us. The entire crew was on time, worked extremely hard all day, and cleaned up beautifully afterwords. And the guarantee is excellent: 30 years shingles, and 15 years labor. I am very pleased. Ryan is a pleasure to work with.
