Cowart's Tree Removal

Cowart's did take down the tree and grind the stump. Unfortunately, his signature that he leaves your premises as he found them did not come true in my case. His heavy equipment left oil stains in my driveway, he took down several small shrubs as he dragged large branches out to the street and his crew knocked a downspout loose which he has yet to fix. He initially tried to repair it and now several weeks later refuses to make his commitment true. I was willing to deal with issues one and two and had purchased oil degreaser to clean the driveway myself. His initial ownership of the downspout issue and now refusal to honor his word was the last straw.

Tom Cowart was extremely responsive (he answered his cell phone every time I called) and accommodating. He was able to assess the work and provide a preliminary telephonic estimate on the same day of initial contact. We were able to arrange a meeting within a couple of day and discuss the work in detail. He made helpful suggestions about which trees to remove and which to prune. He assessed our property and described the removal process, including the equipment he'd use and the methods for chipping the limbs and transferring the logs to the truck. He understood the need for HOA approval and provided a written estimate and all proof of insurance. Once we were approved, he was able to schedule almost right away, and then was very flexible when we ended having to reschedule. On the day of the service, Tom and his crew arrived early, reconfirmed the work order, and went straight to work. It was incredible to watch the process of de-limbing and and cutting the large trees!!! All of the crew was professional, knowledgable, and comfortable with the equipment and the work. The job was done in about 4 1/2 hours. The lawn was not the least bit damaged by the equipment; there wasn't a single wood chip in the yard; and the large logs were stacked neatly at the curb (coned off for the safety of the traffic). The experience with Cowart's was top notch! I will definitely recommend their services to all my neighbors!
