+ 2 moreWe had a pipe burst in our already finished basement causing extensive flooding. We needed new flooring, cabinets, counters in addition to a lot of drywall / ceiling repair and painting. A neighbor referred us to Coastal Floors so we went there to look at flooring. We found a beautiful vinyl plank (WATERPROOF) floor that we loved. We had no idea that they also had cabinets, carpeting, countertops etc. So to simplify everything, we also ordered carpeting for one room in the basement and the stairs, cabinets for the bar area and countertops. They coordinated everything and all of the installers were very professional. Daphne oversaw everything and came out to the house several times during each step. She was like having my own personal decorator / contractor! It was a pleasure working with the owner, Paul, as well as Megan, Janice and Daphne!

+ 0 moreEvery crew that came out from flooring, painting, trim work, to carpeting was honest, reliable and did a great job. I have had my hardwoods redone in the past, so I knew that this would be a stressful endeavor to take on, even if it was just the basement. Paul and Megan knew that it stressed me out and assured me to relax and they would take care of everything. They did…and my basement is beautiful.
Description of Work: When I was talking to a friend of mine about refinishing my basement, she recommended that I stop in Coastal Flooring after they did her floors that summer. I had done my research and went to 4 different showrooms to get quotes on the same product. Coastal Flooring provided the best price per/sq. ft. It is easy to get lost in trying to figure out of you are getting nickel and dimed when you compare prices of products, underlayment, labor, etc. Paul (owner) and Megan (sales) took their time to answer every question I had to make sure I knew what I was getting for my money and how the installation would work. I was also in the process of coordinating painters and trim work around the same time. Paul asked if I would like his help with contracting the work out, so I didn’t have to manage and schedule the jobs around the flooring and carpeting of my stairs. I have to admit that Paul has pretty good taste and talked me out of the paint color I chose and steered me to the perfect color. Just ask to see some pictures of the houses he has flipped!

+ -1 moreThe owner is completely arrogant. He up-sold on some great looking hardwoods and said it would be for the same price as what we were looking at. Said he'd put together a quote. My wife called him about a week later to check on the quote and when he answered and she said her name he said "nope, I haven't gotten to it and nope, I probably won't soon". Avoid this place.
Description of Work: Terribly misquoted, did not follow up.

Description of Work: Replaced all hardwood flooring and carpet in 2-story slab home. They also removed and reinstalled all kitchen granite counter tops. They carry a wide range of manufactures and pricing was the best found with the same product. Installation went well, on time with very good results. Note that this was Costal/Etowah Flooring, 3520 Peachtree Parkway, Suwanee, GA 30024.
