There was a little confusion and delay in ordering the part but all in all a very nice job. The service man was polite, professional and careful...cleaned-up nicely as well.

Technician was friendly and punctual. Listened to our explanation for what was happening with the refrigerator. Then provided detailed information on the problem and why it was happening, which supported his recommendation to replace the panel. He ordered the panel and called requesting an install time. Installed the panel and provided contact information if there were any problems, questions or concerns.

The technician: * Came within the agreed upon time to consult regarding the problem and the cost to fix it. * In addition, suggested that the oven should be cleaned to prevent a fire. Used EZ off to get the cleaning process started; at no extra cost. * Provided an accurate estimate of the work; including labor and parts. * Ordered the parts and called back to advise what date and time he would return to fix the problem. * Came back on the agreed upon date and time. * Fixed the problem. * Was very professional throughout the entire process,

Smooth, but struggled to have them use the $20 off certificate provided through Angie's List. Tried to charge tax on parts AND LABOR (which is incorrect) After haggling, they took off another $20 to fix the tax issue. One acted like that the other didn't know what to do or how to fix the conflicts.

It was completed in a timely manner. My problem is not with the company but with the cost of repairs, I can buy a new one for $500. I just spent $350 to repair it. I am not sure it was a wise decision on my part. But the company did its job and did it well.

They arrived when schedule and the problem is fixed.

The technician, Agazi was AWESOME! He came out in the evening and hooked up our gas range. We were a later appointment, and he still had one more after us, but he did not ever leave us feeling that he was rushing to get our job done. He went above and beyond in his work and his interaction with us. He made sure we understood everything he was doing. He resolved both of our issues, and we were very happy with him, his work, and the company. Definitely use them again!

They were fine. I think it was a good experience. The work took about two hours. The work was adequate and they did what they were supposed to do.

Prompt, courteous response. Unfortunately I had to call him back as the leak was still a problem and the ice was freezing up. BUT...that is because he wanted to try a "simple" solution instead of immediately replacing parts. (could have saved me money). When that did not work, he was prompt to come back, and only charged for the "part"...NOT the trip back. Very nice man, called to say he was coming, and I'm very pleased to have ICE once again.

Marcel called ahead to say he was running a few minutes late, and that was great. He arrived per his new agreed upon time, and promptly set to getting the work done. While he was working on the oven, he explained what he was doing. There was some dirt and grease imbedded around the area he was working - things you don't see when cleaning the oven, he cleaned this up as well. When he finished the work, he tested the new board to make sure it was working properly, then showed me how to use the controls to make sure I was happy.

The man showed up in his personal vehicle, had no sort of uniform on, and showed up a half hour after the appointment window. He seemed scattered throughout the service, having to ask me for several things - a trash bag, vacuum cleaner, and a towel. The dryer is fixed and everything is fine, I was just surprised by the lack of professionalism.

I called to make the appointment and spoke with a really nice lady. I gave her all the Brands and Model numbers of the appliances and told her exactly what the problems were with each item in great detail. The repairman came and all he did was look at the appliances and get all the same information that I had given the nice woman. He said he would need to get parts and that he would call me later that day. It has been a week today and I have not heard a word. So, I paid $50 and stayed home to meet him for nothing. I have used another company before but I had three different brands of appliances this time so I called A1 Appliance Repair so all could be repaired at the same time. Two of the appliances were Bosch dishwashers. When I called the other company years ago. He went to his truck and had the parts and fixed my dishwashers on the spot. To me to pay something for nothing, well there is a word for that. I do not know why this happened. They had so many great reviews. I never write reviews but I do feel that I need to warn other people so they don't waste their time and money.

I called about my refrigerator leaking. They scheduled an appointment for the next afternoon and arrived on time. After scheduling the appointment, the dryer stopped heating. The technician was solved both issues in less than 45 minutes. I'll definitely use them again in the future for any appliance repairs as this was a great experience.

The part that the refrigerator was supposed to use, was not being used. I don't know why. Therefore, the provider needed to look for another part. He made it a priority to take care of this asap. It is working great now, and not leaking any more.

The Icemaker and Stove repairs went fine, but the dishwasher required 3 trips to get the job completed, and the repair amounted to about half of what a new Bosch dishwasher would have cost. I thought the charges for the reairs were a little too high, and when it came to the dishwasher, it was clear that the repairman wasn't well versed on Bosch dishwashers and was seemed a little confused as to how to get everything back together again. In the end, however, everything did go back together, and everything seems to be working correctly up to now.

The repair man was very responsive to my telephone call and responded within 5 hours of my call. Wow! I described my problem and he brought the part with him. His flat rate was $50, which was applied to the repair and cheaper than another big company that I called. I was a bit concerned that he had no uniform or company labelled truck, but this guy was all business and got right to the repair. I appreciated his concern for my flooring. Instead of relying on the wheels of the refrigerator to roll properly, he put down a protective sheet on the floor before attempting to pull the refrigerator out. The repairman was very friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. I could not ask for faster service and he was right on time. I was glad that I took a shot on a small repair company. I will definitely call this company in the future.

I was very pleased. The office staff was very nice and so was the repairman. He was right on time. What a nice surprise from any service company. He also looked at our fridge and told us that we just needed a new filter. I appreciated his honesty.

My Kitchen Aid dishwasher that is about 6 years old had been going off and on. I had called another company to come in and look at it, but it worked for them; however, they diagnosed the variable problem as the control panel, which they would order if I had any other problems. They also offered to apply the cost of the visit to the ordering and installation of the panel. However, they called with an excuse for not following through. I joined Angie's List and found A1 Appliance Rescue. They came within the week, applied the service call cost to the repair, and even came with a necessary fuse based on the Model no. I had given them. Even though I had purchased a new control panel and installed it, without success, they had the additional part that was needed. They even honored a coupon I had printed off their site on Angie's List. The dishwasher is working and I can put away the dishpan!!

Refrigerator was not cooling and it became apparent we had a problem. Called at 8:00 the following morning and got a service call scheduled that afternoon. The tech arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He had a replacement motor with him so he was able to affect the repair in about an hour. He also helped me vacuum the accumulation of dog hair in the engine/compressor department of the fridge. Excellent job all the way around and will call again if we need help. The tech arrived on time, but I was a bit concerned that he drove up in what appeared to be his personal car. I began to have second thoughts when he knocked on the door and the only identifying thing about him was a faded shirt with very small company lettering. He was extremely reserved and appeared to be uncomfortable in the situation. I should add that his demeanor did nothing to diminish him professionalism and prompt repair. My advice would be better identification and the use of a company service truck.

Called back quickly, came out within the next day, and was professional. I just thought it was pricey as they do a flat rate it appears, vs billing on time. Only parts used were two door springs, so our bill was mostly labor. The tech did ask model numbers and had appropriate parts with him.

Called A1 Appliance Repair for a loud noise in my clothes dryer. They came out the same day--called on the way--had to order parts Came back 3 days later and repaired--dryer has never been so quiet Did a great job--would definitely recommend & use again. Thank you!

Called the telephone number and the customer service agent explained how everything works: the house visit, the charge, what happens if they need to order a spare part, etc. Then she was flexible with scheduling our appointment and offered us SATURDAY which is great because we both work. The repairman was prompt, courteous, knowledgable and quickly got the job done. Our problem was solved quickly and efficiently. A1's how visit charge is less than bigger name service repair shops.

He was about an hour late, but otherwise a very nice, friendly, and professional guy. Inspected by broken dishwasher and told me that I might as well just get a new one since it was old and the motor was stripped. Then he gave me all kinds of good advice about all of my appliances including what to look for in a new dishwasher. I knew it was a $50 service call going in, so that was ok.

The workman, Dean, is fabulous. He is vert good, and knew exactly what was wrong with our Thermador oven. He ordered the part and as soon as it came in, he fixed it. Dean also went to our son's home and fixed his oven top about 2 weeks ago. I can not say enough good things about this company. Please use them, you will be pleased.

The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The lady that took the call explained that the service call is $50 and the actual repair could be more. The technition quickly found the washer to be out of balance which caused a leak (i would have never guessed ). He rebalanced the washer and watched it through 2 cycles. All for the $50 service. This company could have easily taken advantage of us, but they didn't. They were professional, friendly and on time. You can bet I'm telling my friends and neighbors about A1 Appliance Rescue.
