The repair person came and didn't seem at all familiar with the machine. He took plates off then the top off and finding a manual taped to the top began to pore over the manual and shine his flashlight inside. After nearly an hour he said there was nothing wrong with the machine. I told him again that something was definitely wrong that it smoked with a burning rubber smell during the spin cycle. He said maybe I didn't know how to balance the load properly. He charged me $50.00 for the service call and left. I used the washing machine again with the same smoking results. I called back and after the gal who answered the phone hemmed and hawed agreed to send the repair man back. He came again did the same thing again but this time decided that the repair cost would be over $650.00. I don't know why these folks have such high ratings.

HE ARRIVED ON TIME FOR BOTH VISITS. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND RESPECTFUL. GOT RIGHT TO WORK AND AS I WATCHED HE WENT THROUGH MULTIPLE STEPS TO VERIFY HIS FINDINGS ON THE WASHER'S DEMISE. IT WAS THE ELECTRONIC BOARDS THAT BURNED OUT. after CHECKING THE COOKTOP AND EXPLAINING HOW THE BURNERS WORKED WITH THE AUTO LITE MECHANISM AND WHY IT WAS NOT WORKING, HE PINTED OUT A BROKEN PIECE IN THE GRILL WHICH WE DID NOT KNOW ABOUT. WE CHOSE TO FIX THE BURNERS FOR $250. THE GRILL WAS MUCH MORE AND DECIDED TO WAIT ON IT. HE DID NOT TRY TO PRESSURE US IN ANY WAY . HE JUST OFFERED TO COME OUT IF WE DECIDE TO REPAIR IT LATER. HE CLEANED UP EVERYTHING AND WA VERY PROFESSIONAL AND POLITE.

original visit 12/7, completed 12/9 didn't have all parts needed Very nice person. Only complaint was he made a mess with the water & other parts & didn't bring towels or anything to clean with. We had to take everything out & clean the water mess inside & on the floor.

Absolutely wonderful people! Marco came to the house to do the repair. He called to let me know he could come earlier than our scheduled time. He replaced the heating coil, and gave me recommendations on brands to look at for a new dishwasher. Their price was very reasonable, and I will definitely use them again for appliance repair.

They repaired my stacked washer/dryer unit. It is located in a downtown Atlanta High-rise that other companies would not service due to parking issues. There was an issue where they dropped the ball on getting a part ordered so the job took several days longer than it should have. Other than that I would definitely use them again.

He didn't do much. I felt there was a leak in the refrigerator, as I had found water under it and I smelled an "old water" musty smell around it. I had already taken the back off and cleaned it, and then the water dispenser quit working. He repositioned the filter, and that fixed the water dispenser operation. He said he did not think it was leaking, despite the clues I had cited. However, there is also frost that gathers in the bottom of my french door Whirlpool refrigerator (freezer is on the bottom) around the door seal of the bottom of the freezer. He kept telling me that means it is getting air. I said well can you fix it, and he said, well, the seal seems fine. So, I don't know what that means. Obviously something is wrong, but he didn't seem to think he could help beyond telling me what caused it. So, basically I paid for a service call to have the filter jiggled a little bit.

I was referred to this business by another company that were fully booked for two months. Thanks for the referral! A1 Appliance Rescue's service tech was very nice, arrived promptly, took care of the issue quickly. He informed us with several possibilities regards what might went wrong of our fridge that was not running cold air. He gave us estimated time and cost he could fix the issue and helped us to order parts. Overall service with good quality. They have earn my trust and by knowing I would receive good quality work with reasonable cost. I'm glad they used "Square" credit card charging service on the iPhone. It make the payment process so easy. I will definitely use their service again!

I called and was given a time window of between noon and 2:00 p.m. on the same day. Mario called during that time window to let me know he would be running late and gave me a new time of between 3:00 and 3:30; he arrived a little before 4:00. I realize that scheduling in this type of business is not an exact science and appreciated the two phone calls to let me know of his change in arrival time. He diagnosed the problem within minutes of arriving, gave me a quote, and had the problem fixed within 15 minutes. Finding someone to work on LG appliances is difficult enough, the fact that A1 was responsive and gave me what I felt to be a fairly reasonable price insures that I will go back to them again for our LG and other appliance needs.

There was some initial confusion over appointment, which it turned out to be them confusing two customers...but once they arrived, they fixed everything in 20 minutes. I haven't had any issues ever since. I will definitely use them again in the future and I do recommend them.

Called the company to fix a refrigerator for a rental house. Instructed them to call me when they got to the house and had diagnosed the problem. the refrig was only two years old and a relatively inexpensive one . They forgot to call...but apologized. Said there was no leak but put freon in and was going to charge 200.00 for the call and to put freon in. they said there was no leak. I questioned that since the refrig had been working for the previous time except had been unplugged for a few months while the house was vacant they told me since they didnt call they would not charge for the freon and I would just pay 100.00 with no warrantee There was a week or so that went by and then the refrig stopped working I spoke to the tech who went out again and found no leak again but put more freon in it. I questioned that there was still a leak....freon doesnt keep leaking out if there is no leak. They told me someone could call and speak to me about the scientific workings of a refrig since I wanted to understand it so well. I told them, Ididnt care about that....it just didnt make sense to me as to why they had to keep putting freon in it and how much longer would it continue to work. A week or two later....the refrig died and i had to buy another one. They didnt charge me at all....even for the initial call. Which I appreciate however, there was much time and energy wasted which was frustrating

Technician called to tell me he was on his way, just down the street. He showed up over an hour later. Technician was rude,insulting, still need a part to fix the ice maker and 4 days later still have not had a call back (he said he would call with a price).

Mario was very helpful, knowledgeable about the equipment, and acted in the utmost professional manner. He walked us through the repair, explained what had happened, and we would not hesitate using A 1 Appliance Rescue again.

Based on my description, he brought the proper part and replaced it in record time. He seemed very well versed in Jenn-Air appliances. Dean is a very personable and highly skilled individual and an asset to this company..

I was planning on writing out a check $ 519. But then he told me no company policy was to only charge me $65 I was stunned I was like well you did all this work and welding. But I was so surprised and relived but could not believe what I was hearing. He did the work but the company policy it wasn't working so only service fee Really?? I will call them back on my other Appliances and ask for Boris wow in today's time I'm stunned so I'm not out $500. And then have to go buy new refrigerator. Please try them

The technician was unable to make the appt in the 3 hour time slot he gave me as he ran unexpectedly behind. I has waited as long as possible and had to reschedule for another day. Aside from that inconvience I was very happy with his work and the customer service as A1 Appliance was excellent. I would recommend this company and will use them again.

Things went fine. Technician was courteous and professional, he seemed to know what he was doing. It has been a number of months and the refrigerator is cooling and working well.

A1 Appliance rescue was called out for my refrigerator not cooling. I should have known there would be an issue when I was told a tech would be at my home at a scheduled time and showed late. The tech was nice but stayed on his cell phone most of the time while in my home. He diagnosed my refrigerator as having a seal problem that A1 does not repair. I was charged a $50 service charge. I called another company who came to my home the following morning. Company B checked my system added refrigerant and was gone in 15 minutes. The refrigerator is now cooling just fine. If all I needed was coolant then that should have been diagnosed. I will never use or recommend A1 for repair.

An overall more than satisfactory experience, very professional and knowledgable.

The service did not go well. We would never use them again. They are very poor with customer communication. The part had to be ordered and we had to keep calling them to find out what was going on. The service guy that came out did not seem all that competent and he scratched our floor. He needed my wife's assistance with moving the refrigerator. He misdiagnosed initially and told us we needed a part that was not needed. After his first diagnostic visit he accidentally turned off the power and he did come to turn it back on.

He diagnosed and repaired my fridge and the work was covered under warranty for one month. He said the fridge was totally fixed at this time. Within the first month the fridge stopped working properly and so I called for help. I tried to call several times and didn't get replies, at that time I asked for another rep from the company to come out and then received a call from the first rep. Then he came out it appeared that he didn't replace a part he should've already and he told me I would have to pay for it. I didn't want to since he should've already installed the part previously. He went ahead and fixed it free of charge but was very rude and I had a bad experience.

It went real well. He called to say he was ahead of schedule so he showed up early. I showed him the problem, he diagnosed it immediatley and was done in ten minutes. Its a Kenmore washer so first called Sears. After being on hold and speaking to a woman I couldn't understand I gathered that Sears wanted to charge $360 with all kinds of "warranties". I hung up confused. A-1 had a great rating from Angies List so I called. The repairman went right to work and like I said was done quickly. It was a good experience.

He found that the water valve had to be replaced on my refrigerator and had to order the part and come back the next day to replace it. He thought initially that the dryer problem was the venting. He gave me a name of someone who could work on my vent. He told me to just pull the dryer away from the wall and disconnect the dryer vent hose to use it until I could get the vent worked on. I tried that and the dryer still would not dry the clothes like it should. I called and asked for him to return and take another look. He stayed and watched it try to go through its cycling process. He discovered it needed to have the coils replaced. He had the parts in his vehicle and was able to replace them right then. The dryer works wonderfully again.
