Description of Work: I have used A1 appliance repair twice - the first time when the burner inside my electric oven went out and more recently when my dishwasher door had an issue with the door. Both times they came right away, repaired the problem for a reasonable price. I would certainly use them again.

Description of Work: The oven in my rental property went out. A1 took the call and scheduled a repair man to do a diagnostic test visit the next day. The repairman showed up in the window he provided, completed the test and discovered a bad heating element. He did not have the exact product needed, and scheduled a return visit for the next day. He showed up repaired the oven and I have had no issues since. Diagnostic visit - $75, parts and repairs - $123, $20 Angie's List Coupon - Final price $178.

Description of Work: Spent an hour on the phone trying to give the tech directions to my house--which is NOT difficult. He showed up in no uniform and in a car with no signage. He took one look (30 seconds) and told me nothing was wrong with my refrig. gaskets. That I should just learn how to sut the door properly. Then he charged me $75.00. RIP OFF.

Description of Work: My freezer alarm was buzzing which is an alert that the temperture is dropping. By the time I heard the buzzer in the garage, the food in the freezer started to defrost. I called one repair service where I purchased the appliance and they said the soonest they could come was 2 days later. I called A-1 Applance Rescue and they arrived within a few hours. The repairman ultimately determined that it was the control board and reset it and left specific instructions on what to do if the alarm came back on again.

Description of Work: They came out to inspect my freezer drawer which mysteriously started working again for the service rep. A piece had come off the track so eventually we will need to replace it. They will have to order the part. The call back with a cost estimate for the part took longer than I thought it should but we are not in a rush to replace it so no big deal. They were prompt and friendly and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.
