Description of Work: They repaired my Fisher & Paykel dish drawer . The repairman was very knowledgeable of the brand and came equipped with the broken part.

Description of Work: They came to look at my washer. The man was very straight with me that it needed to be replaced, didn't waste a lot of time and didn't try to charge me for more services. He easily could've recommended an expensive repair, but he was honest that I'd be better off just getting a new machine. He only charged me the minimum $29 for the visit.

Description of Work: Have used them twice. Once to fix dish drawer dishwasher and once to fix a faulty door on an over the stove installed microwave. Both times technicians were prompt professioan and competent. Have recommended them to friends who have been equally pleased.

Description of Work: My dryer stopped spinning. It's fairly new but it is notorious for belt around the drum breaking. A1 was there quickly with correct part and fixed it in no time. He was in and out in less than an hour.

Description of Work: Our refrigerator began to cool/freeze sporadically. We called and a repair person was there in less than 24 hours. The man came in with the part, as he already suspected what was causing the problem. Asked me a few specific questions pertaining to noises, etc. Replaced the part and was done in 15 mins. Fixed immediately and have had no issues since, almost a month later. Good experience.

Description of Work: The technician came for our washer there was a $75 fee for the visit. He confirmed our initial thought that the appliance was dead. He was courteous and he even looked at our dryer. I think the price for a visit is a little high, however I appreciated the prompt response to my call.

Description of Work: Could not make the scheduled appointment so had to reschedule. Rates were high but "gave me discount" since they had to reschedule my original appointment.

Description of Work: Fixed our freezer which has a design issue. Dean created a great solution to our ongoing issue rather than dropping us as clients. The company is professional, easy to work with, readily available to help as much as possible, and are all are truly experts in the field. We will always go to A1 for any appliance issues. Description of Work: I'D LIKE TO START OF BY SAING THE $500 APPROXIMATE COST OF SERVICE WAS THE TOTAL FOR 3 DIFFERENT APPLIANCES THAT WERE FIXED BY THIS COMPANY ALL WITHIN A WEEK AND A HALF OF EACH OTHER. I'm not sure where to begin - this company is fantastic! First, my dryer stopped drying my clothes so I called 3 other companies who all told me it would take 7-10 days before they could come out. Why I didn't look on Angie's List in the first place I'm not sure, but I then contacted A1 Appliance Rescue thru Angie's List explaining my desperate need for my dryer and he said he could have someone out that afternoon - needed new heating element - so was fixed right away! While the technician was here I asked him to take a look at my 4-yr. old dishwasher. Again, dumb me not using Angie's List in the first place, I had called a technician who had done some work on an appliance at our rental property. He came out, checked out the dishwasher, said it needed a new motor - $430. It took him 8 days to come back out with the new motor. He installed it. Once I started using it, I noticed it wasn't sanitizing and drying my dishes like it had before the motor was replaced. He came back out to look at it. He told me he checked with his "guy" (whatever that means), and was told the new motors don't heat up like the original ones did because of the new energy efficient standards and that "it is what it is." He said he could do something to tweak it a bit and it should help some. Whatever he did didn't make any difference - my dishes were not being sanitized and were not drying at all. I called him back and asked for a full refund on the motor because I couldn't deal with my dishes not getting sanitized and dried and that I would just have to go out and buy a new dishwasher. He did honor my request and gave me a full refund. Before I started shopping for a new dishwasher is when the Al Appliance Rescue tech was here to fix my dryer. Since he had several more appts that day he said he would come back the very next day to check it out, which he did. He found a couple of major problems the first tech had caused and even went into the crawlspace of the house to check things out relating to water to the dishwasher. So he made some adjustments saying it should take care of the problem but if it didn't he would be back the next day to try something different. Unfortunately it still wasn't working so he came back out, spent about 1 1/2 hrs online trying to figure out the problem and was finally able to fix my dishwasher - it now sanitizes and dries my dishes as well as it did when I first bought it! Naturally I was thrilled - especially since my dishwasher was only 4 yrs old and an expensive one at that - so now I wouldn't have to go buy another one! He went above and beyond to get my dishwasher fixed, which is something the first tech wasn't willing to do - it was easier for him to say "it is what it is" - but that was so incorrect and was unacceptable to me! And in between his 2 visits to fix my dishwasher, our tenants called to say their washing machine had stopped spinning. I called the office to schedule someone to go out and look at it, and was told they would have someone out there that very afternoon! Unbelievable service! Fixed the washer that very day. They will be our appliance repair company for life!!!! (Not sure if it's okay to mention the name of the technician, but THANKS, MARCEL!!!!!!!!!!!)

Description of Work: Dishwasher was snot pumping out correctly. They researched the issue, replaced several parts and found the resolution. This was not an easy fix and the problem we had was rare. They stuck with it to the end and am very happy.

Description of Work: Replaced timer switch in washer. Very slow to obtain part and return to complete the repair (one week). Not responsive to phone calls.
