Extremely professional and fixed the issue!

Their service is very responsive. My refrigerator had leaked and flooded my hardwood floor. He diagnosed it as the main water valve that supplies water to the ice maker/water in door. He provided an estimate of $235 to replace this part (part was approx $100). Upon his return, he discovered that the water line had a hole in it, instead of needing that part. He was honest enough to point that out to me; he repaired the hole in the line and adjusted his repair price lower by $100. I applaud Dean's honesty by correcting his assessment of the repair. I also used their Angie's List coupon and saved $20!

Everything went well, and they did a good job. They even returned on a later date when the refrigerator experienced problems again, and they didn't charge for the visit.

Repairman said it would cost $295 to fix, but suggested I buy a new one, which I did. He helped me remove the old one. Very nice.

I called them on Thursday and their first available appointment was on Tuesday. They had several two-hour slots available for scheduling. I selected the 4-6PM. Dean called me at 5 PM to tell me he was headed to my home. He was here by 5:15 PM. He quickly identified the problems and repaired the microwave. Dean was very professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.

Pros:The company contacted me promptly to set up a time for repair. I was very pleased that the service technician came when he said he would, confirmed ahead of time, called me when he was in the neighborhood, etc. There was no chance that we were going to accidentally "miss" each other. Also, he didn't have a part for the dryer when he made his first visit, so he set up the return visit at a time that was convenient for me. Cons: The company should have asked me for the make and model numbers of my appliances before sending someone out. Then, they could have made a point of having the right parts with them based on diagnostic questions on the phone. The technician allowed me to wait and pay the total bill on the second visit. I thought this was generous, until I realized he had never given me a written quote of the prices. So, when my husband was here for the return visit (instead of me), he quoted much higher prices. We nearly had to pay an extra $50 or more. My husband had to argue with the repair man in order to get the prices that had been verbally quoted to me the day before. All in all, I am pleased that the work was completed promptly and the problems seem to be fixed. But I have no idea whether we paid a fair price, and we felt like we were being swindled by the end of the second visit.

Set up appointment and they were able to get at the house when promised. Quickly diagnosed issue and had part with them to faciliate the repair.

They came, called me, explained what was the problem, and charged an reasonable amount. They did a fine job.

Great - they were a few minutes early, were very thorough in the inspection, but were obviously being efficient.If cost had made financial sense, we would have happily chosen them for the repair work.

The thermostat in my garage refrigerator was not working correctly. It took 5 visits and numerous part replacements. It is still tricky to get it to stay at 37 degrees. They came when they said they would. They came back when I called. I am still not sure if I should have replaced it instead spending that much to fix a 13+ year old refrigerator and having to toss out a lot of food that was ruined.

Oven in rental property went out on Tuesday and I searched Angie's List and found A1 Appliance Rescue on Wednesday. They responded quickly and the repair was completed by Thursday noon. A1 was very professional and I would highly recommend them.

The service that was provided was wonderful. The tech was late however he did have the professional courtesy to call us and advise that he was running late. The tech ran a few tests on the oven and advised that it was the igniter which was what the gentleman that scheduled my appointment had thought the issue would be. The tech replaced the igniter and was on his way in less than an hour from arriving.

It was a great experience. I would definitely use them again.

Overall it went well with speed and professionalism. The price was extremely reasonable.Technician (Marcel) knew immediately what the cause was, explained the solution and gave us an immediate price, which he stuck to.He fixed the problem in 10 -15 minutes, lubricating the "idler pulley" and 4 bearings.He also cleaned out a large wad of lint or dust from the "cavity" of the dryer. There were two minor problems. 1) He left all the dust, dirt, and lint he'd pulled out, on the floor and didn't ask for or use a trash can.2) We told him he'd blocked my car from leaving the driveway. Instead of immediately moving his car, he kept me waiting in my car for several minutes, making an already tense, late situation even more so.

It took about 3 weeks. The end result was fine and my oven works but in the beginning he ordered one part and then had to order another part. He ordered two parts that were not needed. Finally he came with the third part and it worked. It took a while but it was fine. I probably wouldn't use them again.

They were upfront with how much it would cost. They identified the issue pretty quickly and fixed it. They did a good job.

I like them. They were efficient. They fixed what I needed to fix. They were the second provider that I had for this job because the first one I had a little bit of an issue with. I had completely diagnosed by the time they got here. They verified my diagnosis, and then fixed the issue. It was a very fast repair. I have no complaints.

Washer is working again just fine. Dean and the office were very professional and on time. They did what they said they would do and it was a great experience.

It was okay and they got the job done. I was not sure whether the guy knew what he was doing. They made us pull the dryer out of the wall.

Everyone I dealt with at A1 was extremely courteous and both technicians were punctual and professional. They would not take any money until the refrigerator door was fixed, which I appreciated. But it took three visits to fix the problem. The first technician was very, very nice, but he simply didn't know how to fix it. He ordered a new gasket and spring, but once they were installed, the door still not close properly. Then he put back the original gasket, which saved me some money, and called for a more senior technician who came two days later. The second technician had it fixed in five minutes! I would definitely use them again, but I might ask for Marcel.
