+ -1 moreJust wanted to say that I asked for information from them through Angies list a weeks ago and never heard back from them. Angie needs to revise this as it required a work date or I couldn't rate this company.

+ -1 moreIt went well, and he did solve my problem. However, I had said the end of the season the year before that I thought there was a leak in that skimmer, and I think because there were so many other things going on (like patching the stairs), he thought he had solved all the problems. I had a hard time proving that the pool was still leaking because of intermittent rain that made it difficult to know for sure. Then the pool was closed for the season. He DID apologize for having missed that leak before. The folks with this company are extremely personable. I will continue to hire them despite the hiccup because I think they are honest, hardworking people. Everybody makes mistakes except people who don't do anything.
Description of Work: Last time I saw Neptune Pools they did their regular test of the ports and drains looking for leaks. Didn't find any there, but did find them on the stairs (the stairs always leak - a fault of the construction). They were quickly patched. I reminded him how much water I was losing every day and he agreed that there must be a leak elsewhere. I told him I thought it was one of the skimmers. When he took off the cover he found a big leak and patched the vinyl.

+ -1 moreOverall management of project was on time and within budget. Bid process started in July of 2009, company was selected in December, broke ground in January and finished in May. Dealt with 3 separate people through the life of the project- sales person, pool general contractor, and hardscape general contractor. Contractors were terrific, especially hardscape contractor, Mark Springsteen. All subs that were used were punctual, courteous, and had above average craftsman skills. Design help and responsiveness dealing with sales person became an early challenge due to her limited knowledge of the construction process, but once contractors were fully engaged total service was outstanding. In addition, contractors connected us with secondary services (landscaping, lighting, av) that we ultimately selected-even though we bid out all phases of the project.
