True Savvy Labor, LLC

I really hate to do this so but situation has me so upset I am up at 1:30 am writing this review as I am battling an asthma flare up. Hopefully, I can spare someone else from the headache I have endured. On Saturday, April 23, I hired True Savvy Labor, LLC to help me move on 4/29/22 @9:30. I explained that I needed a 4 man crew and other important details regarding what needed to moved. Everything was good to go or so I thought. That Wednesday I sent a message that the realtor had rescheduled my walk through at the new property therefore, I asked if we could move the time to 12 pm on 4/29. Micah stated, "That'll work". On Friday 4/29, I am at my condo waiting for Micah and the rest of 3 movers to arrive but no one arrives. I sent a message and asked if they were still available to move me. No response. I tried to call several times and again no response. At this point, I decided to call another mover since I had moved a large portion of my belongings out of the condo on my own. I did not hear from True Savvy Labor, LLC until 3:47 pm when they texted me and said they were on their way. This was after I had already contact, hired, placed $100 deposit for another mover. Since they were already on their way I decided to cancel the new movers and continue with True Savvy Labor, LLC. BIG MISTAKE! 1. They finally arrived at 4:17 pm (4 hrs after the agreed upon time) 2. Lack of communication 3. No type of insurance or contract was signed at the beginning of the move to determine who was responsible for what 4. ONLY 2 MEN ARRIVE (I requested 4) 5. I have a severe case of asthma that flares during this time of year and when I am stressed. So with situation I had an attack. I told Micah and his partner that I do not have covid. I have been tested and vaccinated. However, Micah took it upon himself to tell me to go into the other room. The tone he had with me was so rude. I actually had mask available on my table which his partner actually used. However, I do not like someone coming into my home ordering me around especially while having an asthma attack. LET ME BE CLEAR I HAVE ASTHMA. I DO NOT HAVE COVID. I HAD INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED MASK ON MY TABLE FOR THE WORKERS. I HAVE BEEN VACCINATED. I TOLD THEM I WAS VACCINATED AND HAD A BOOSTER. I WOULD NEVER PLACE ANYONE AT RISK. I COULD AND WOULD HAVE PROVIDE PROOF BUT WAS NEVER ASKED. SO THE COVID EXCUSE IS. NOT VALID FOR HIS FAILURE TO DO AN ADEQUATE JOB. 6. Items were not wrapped properly. I have expensive mirrored furniture. 7. Items were yanked off wall and dropped on floor. 8. Washer and dryer were not hooked up in new location. 9. Items were placed in garage however, I have no idea what is what or where anything is located. 10. Beds were put up improperly and placed in the wrong place even after told were to place them. 11. Box spring left in living room. Yes I understand it could not go upstairs but they did not ask where I wanted it place. I DEFINITELY NOT in the living room. 12. Place furniture in the new home where they wanted it. 13. Complained about it getting dark. Despite the earlier agreed upon time. 14. Micah's tone and the way he spoke to his partner Mondo made me feel uncomfortable. 15. I had to pay $645 for shoddy work and they still didn't get EVERYTHING OUT OF THE CONDO ONE VERY IMPORTANT AND SCARY THING. IT WAS CLOSE TO 10 PM WHEN THEY FINISHED. THEY LEFT MY DOWN STAIRS BASEMENT DOOR OPEN. THANK GOD I MADE SURE TO CHECK MY DOORS AND I HAVE AN ALARM. CLEARLY THIS COMPANY ONLY CARES ABOUT $$$ The end result, I had to rent a U-Haul the next day so my sister, my 11 and 7 year old nephews and I could finish the job. Look, I'm not telling anyone not to hire them and I CAN'T say you get what you pay for because doing so would be lying. I will say hire at your own risk. Micah can dispute this review all he wants. He knows the job he did. He can say I had a lot of things and that's fine. However, sir remember I asked for a 4 man crew and not 2 man crew. Micah a word of advice learn to communicate, have some compassion, don't be in a rush, and treat people the way you want to be treated. Life can change very fast.

Micah was very professional and effective at moving the designated objects from Atlanta to Nashville. Simply put, he got the job done. And it should be said he also has a great attitude: he’s kind and easy-going to work with, and accommodating as well. I would definitely hire him again!

I used them for past 3 yeas. They were extremely professional. The owner was extremely polite and did a good job. I was very pleased with the service. Very competitive pricing and they were prompt. I highly recommend them.
