It went well in all respects. Thomas devised an improved procedure that our engineer accepted. The crew showed up early and went immediately to work. They kept us informed at all stages, actually finished a bit earlier than expected and even returned a little money for materials not required. One remarkable thing: I've worked with construction crews for a long time and have never been on a job where there wasn't some grousing and feuding-until this time. Seemed that the guys actually liked each other and enjoyed working together. Have to mention Stevie in particular. He has to be the world's most cheerful guy.

The worked hand-in-glove with a structural engineer to get it done right; it was very hard. I got 3 valid bids but this company impressed me with his knowledge and straight-forward answers to my questions. He did not prettify anything; he just told the truth. He also was a couple of thousand dollars higher than the other companies but it was worth it. He did refund us a couple of hundred dollars at the end; he did not have to buy as many materials. One thing that was really different about his operation is that I never saw any of his crew members say an angry word or get into an argument with anybody else; they just worked like they were all part of the same machine. We were really impressed and their price was fair.

Thomas came out per my request the samed day I called. Gave a competitive estimate, said he would get to it before Thanksgiving, came the day before Thanksgiving and did a great job. Cleaned up afterwards and everything looks fine. So impressed with his work I asked him to give me an estimate on another job.

Went well The company arrived early on the agreed to date and finished as promised.

They did a very nice job. They cleaned up after themselves, and were very professional. I hardly knew they were here doing any work.

Thomas does excellent work. He's careful, gets it done rapidly and right, cleans up each day so you never face a mess, and has good ideas to help you plan it if you need it. He's pleasant, and a great craftsman who has a lot of integrity. In the first job, Thomas tiled my master bath walls and vanity after I tore out an old acrylic tub/shower unit and replaced it with a soaking tub and shower. He gave good advice about how to lay the two tiles we'd selected, and he suggested creating two wall niches, which look gorgeous. He's very reasonable: when there was a glitch with the pattern using one of the smaller tiles, he agreed to re-grout the floor tile for half price. In my powder room, he took out an old acrylic top and tiled around the new sink. He got both bathrooms done in just a few days, and kept the tile dust contained to the bathroom. They both look extremely pretty and professional. I couldn't be happier with them! It was a silver lining to an unforeseen cloud that I soon had another chance to use Thomas's skill on another, outdoor, project. My front steps are wrought iron, curved, with ceramic tile inlay, done in the 80s. The iron had corroded badly, mostly due to poor installation techniques and materials, and the tile and iron had to be completely replaced. I decided to use slate squares, but cutting them so that the curving steps looked good was a challenge. Thomas came up with a simple, relatively inexpensive design that wasperfect, much less busy than what I had imagined doing. The top landing looks absolutely gorgeous, with a "frame" he designed of slightly darker pieces setting off the squares in the middle. He got the whole thing done in two days, and charged me $700 to do it, which was very reasonable, given the complexity of the wedge-shaped stairs and uneven landing size (it was built out of square, but you can't tell by looking at the artful way Thomas adjusted the side sizes slightly). I am even considering re-doing another bathroom because I consider Thomas's tile work to be such an asset to my home!

Thomas came out and looked everything over, he emailed me a couple of days later as he said he would with a detailed quote and listed exactly what he planned to do and the cost. His cost was well below other estimates I had, but based on his knowledge and the detail of his quote, I felt comfortable with him doing the job well. He showed up exactly at the time and date he said he would be there. Him and his crew worked all day for basically 4 days and only took short lunch breaks. He was extremely through with his construction and the manner of building the deck to ensure everything was level and done correctly. His job of building the concrete support and the quality of materials and craftmanship he displayed were excellent. He also cleaned up all the debris when he was done and was extremely conscientious throughout the construction project. Everything came out perfectly and I cannot recommend Thomas enough for the quality and care of his work.

The project went very smoothly. We were very impressed.
