Description of Work: I set an appointment with Reign Down Cleaning & Painting Service for 25 Apr 11 (Monday) at 500pm to obtain an estimate for painting my father's house in Jonesboro, GA. The owner called at 500pm on 25 Apr to say he was running late and would be there about 600pm. I told him I had another commitment and couldn't stay that day and asked if he could reschedule for another day in the same week. He said yes, tomorrow (Tuesday). I asked that he call me before 330pm if he was unable to make the appointment so I would know before I left work not to meet him. I was at my father's house at 415pm. He never called and didn't show up. I called and left a message about 515pm and never heard back. I live in Fayetteville and both days drove to meet him for an estimate. I was encouraged even after the first day because he at least called to say he was running late, although he called at the time he was to be there. Not professional at all. + -1 moreHowever, the first appointment was a complete disaster and that's because Carlos sent an undertrained staffer to do the job. I won't go into the details, but the whole experience was depressing and I ended up following behind this staffer and cleaning the area he thought he had cleaned. After complaining to Carlos through email he apologized and offered to both supply a discounted refund and come to my home and do the job over again. Two days later my house received the care I had been expecting, and all the bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and ready for company. I will be looking for a permanent housecleaner, but I've decided I want to hire a single person who I can expect to see every couple weeks. I am not comfortable with using an agency who sends out whomever is available. No consistency that way. However, Carlos did perform a very good service and he is striving to build a top-notch company. He was disappointed when he learned about the poor service his staffer had provided. So I give him all the credit for making things right.
Description of Work: The owner, Carlos Jones, and one of his assistants came to my home and did a good job dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning. The house is large, with 5 baths and four bedrooms, and it has been through weeks of remodeling and all the mess that results from those efforts. Again, Carlos and his assistant did a good job.

+ -1 moreCarlos and his crew were professional from the time he did the estimate until he left. I would recomend them to anyone considering a large scary job like this. Their reasonable pricing made this possible for us and we love the results.
Description of Work: Reign Down cleaned and painted 1200 square feet of 15 ft high residential loft ceiling for us last weekend. Friday they preped the loft,, Saturday they painted and we were back in by Sunday am. They did approximately 3 coats of paint on the waffle ceiling turning it from black to white. They did a great job and the attention to detail especially on the joists, exposed conduit and other "lofty things" on the ceiling made all the difference. They cleaned up as well as can be expected with a spray job like that and were extremely easy to deal with.

+ -1 moreI had a tough time getting ahold of them to schedule an appointment which was a bad start. Angie's List got ahold of them and we got the appointment set for today at 9:30. They failed to show up. I later saw in an email that they sent at 7:30 this morning they couldn't make it and would have to reschedule. They did offer an extra hour of cleaning, but I have company coming tomorrow and was counting on them coming out. You'd think that they would call or email the day before reminding customers they will be coming or not for the service. Even to have called this morning would be better customer service, because I wouldn't have sat around and waited.
Description of Work: I purchased the housecleaning Big Deal for 4 hours of housecleaning.

+ -1 moreThe woman brought her approx. 13 year old daughter to help clean. The daughter went to the two bathrooms and master bedroom for the 2.5 hours. The mother did the living, dining, and kitchen. As they went I felt they were a bit slow, but tried to stay out of the way so they could clean. They did go over the 4 man hours alloted by 30 minutes, after arriving 10-15 minutes late. I tipped them both upon completion. I went to take a shower the next morning and found my extended arm shower head had been bent and kinked, unquestionably by the child. Water sprayed the wall. I showered in the guest bath, and replaced my mail order arm with an inferior one that did not match the finish of the room. I will have to order yet another to get the proper unit and finish. I might have let this go, if the girl had confessed to causing the damage, but not now. I want the money for the temporary head AND the money I tipped them. The lady must be responsible for her child's actions.
Description of Work: Simple housecleaning. I told the woman I wanted dusting, vacuuming, baseboards, 2 baths, kitchen and only one of the three bedrooms, including making the bed.

Description of Work: The owner of the company cleaned my house for over four hours and left it clean, fresh smelling and sparkling. He cleaned bathrooms and kitchen top to bottom and vaccumed and dusted the rest of the house.

+ -1 moreI purchased an Angie's list deal from Reign Down to do 4 hours of cleaning. I have four dogs so we always have lots of dog hair to clean. Our house was built in the 60s so it tends to get pretty dusty as well. Reign Down called ahead and showed up on time. They did a great job cleaning the house. I was so pleased that I asked them to come back again in February. I have used other companies in the past. Reign Down's regular pricing was much more reasonable than the other companies. We just got one of our dogs from the pound a few months ago. She's still pretty skittish around new people. Carlos took the time after they were done cleaning to spend a few minutes giving treats and throwing the ball with the dogs so they would feel more comfortable. I really appreciated that. Gotta love a dog lover!

+ 0 moreI originally hired Reign Down to do cleaning based on an Angie's List deal. They did such a good job with the cleaning, that I asked them to come back to do some painting as well. They painted ceilings in my laundry room, bathroom, and hallway. The hallway included an attic access panel. They also did some caulking where old caulk had separated between the ceiling and the crown molding. They searched through about 30 cans of old paint left by the previous home owners to find the matching wall paint to do touch-ups in two of the rooms where they worked. They even took the time to touch up the wall by my new, smaller thermostat and doorbell that showed an old wall color. That had been bugging me for a long time so I really appreciated the extra effort!

Description of Work: We hired Reign Down Painting and Cleaning Service to paint kitchen and re-plaster and repair kitchen ceiling. The work by Carlos Jones and his company was exemplary. He came out to inspect the work and offered us a very reasonable $800 estimate. But as the work began, we were so pleased with his work that we added the painting of several more rooms including two special fresca accent walls. Carlos was courteous,and very amenable to all changes and additional assignments. He worked until we were thoroughly pleased with the entire job. I would highly recommend Reign Down for any job. We will probably contract with him for some exterior painting during the summer

In no way did the person suggest that it was too much, I personally felt it was a bit much for one person being that I have a 2-story home. She was great and completed the task wonderfully.

They were painting above hard wood floors that I had refinished a couple of days prior, they were extremely careful while working on these floors. They did exactly what I asked them to do. They cleaned up and did their job nice. It all worked out wonderfully. I would definitely re-hire them to do more painting. It is the first time I have hired anyone to paint because I usually do it myself. They were a little late once because they ran into a delay at the paint store. They were absolutely professional.

Description of Work: I own a piece of rental property that was "trashed" by the tenant. The carpet, stove, refrigerator and floors were filthy! I mean filthy. I called Carlos. He provided a prompt detailed estimate and arrived on time to do the work. It took him two days to do the job, but the house was immaculate! The carpet was clean – he even removed the ground in stains. The stove, refrigerator, floors, bathroom and shades - all clean and sparkling. I would highly recommend Reign Down Painting & Cleaning!

Also a plus was that he takes credit cards. He confirmed the date for the job, and was on-time. I will tell you the quality is out of this world. His attention to detail is unparalleled. Our home looks new as a result. Simply great people....other providers i called were gruff, not well spoken..not the sort of folks one wants in their homes for an extended period of time. Carlos and Cecil where also friendly, kind, and courteous to my family where they began to feel like part of the family. Reign Down is the best in the Atlanta area hands down. + 0 moreI recently closed on the purchase of a new home. The home is gorgeous except for one thing: the master bedroom was an awful shade of blue that was difficult to match up with anything. I was referred to Reign Down Painting by a real estate agent, and boy was I impressed. The painter required I purchase the paint, and he handled the rest. My home has sloped vaulted ceilings (20'+), making it a challenge for a "do it yourself job." Upon completion, the master suite was beautiful. There was absolutely no sign the faded blue color ever existed. In addition, there was not a drip of paint anywhere, the painters finished on time, and they cleaned up all trash and returned the furniture the way they originally found it. From there, I asked the painters to return to paint the remaining rooms and common areas in the home. They returned two weeks later, and the work is flawless. My home looks very new on the interior. I could not be more pleased just in time for the holidays!
