Frederick Harris provided exactly the service I had requested when he came out to my home. I was looking to install a new appliance and needed to ensure that it would not create any kind of an electrical problem in my home. I asked for an electrician who could give me an estimate for the installation and to check the electrical load that was on my current panel. I received install estimates from two other electricians but they did not provide the load check. From the beginning Harris Electric was the only electrician that understood the desire to check my current electrical load. Initially he was concerned that my home due to it�s size may need a considerable amount of work to update the electrical panel. When he arrived he performed a calculation based on multiple factors and determined that I had no concerns with my current circuit. Even after that he was able to see that I still had some concerns and went the extra mile. He had me turn on everything we could in my home and measured the circuit using a meter. This clearly showed that even with everything on in my home I was well within the limits of my circuit. After providing the news that my circuit could handle the new appliance we proceeded to discuss the install. As it turned out he determined that I did not need an electrician to perform the install. Rather than provide me an estimate to complete work that I did not need to pay for Frederick advised that there was no reason for me to hire an electrician to install the appliance. I was able to accomplish the installation on my own with a minimal cost. I appreciate the follow up, follow through, honest and forthright attitude shown by Harris Electric. Should I have need of an electrician in the future I will be contacting call Harris Electric.

My project involved installing 3 lighting fixtures, a ceiling fan, GFCI outlets, an outlet for a microwave oven, remounting an 220V outlet and fixing some wiring issues. The original estimate for the job was $600. Mr Harris and his crew arrived close to the appointment time (9AM). While installing one of the lighting fixtures, Mr Harris discovered a wiring problem which required troubleshooting. He charged me $60 for the additional work, but he also replaced some 3 way switches at no cost. The job was completed the same day and Mr Harris and his crew were very thorough. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing an electrician.
