This project, they did an A job. I did attempt to use them, hire them on another project, and they never followed through. They have a poor follow-up on their customers, so I wouldn't advise anyone to use them. I would not use them again because on the second project, they failed to follow through. They were scheduled for another project to do for me and I just couldn't get in contact with them, so I didn't feel like continuing calling them over and over again and they were not interested. What I asked for on this project - and this was a deal breaker for me - I asked because this was a more expensive project - I asked before I do another project with you I do need a contract or something, a scope of work describing what you're gonna do and a signature, and I sent them a sample of what type of contract that I was looking for. This company, when they did work for me in 2016, they didn't have that kind of business setup where they gave you a scope of work and a contract to sign. They would send you something through e-mail and the e-mail didn't have a signature on it, and it was not detailed. So I said well, you had a good price so I'm just gonna go ahead and do this, but for any future projects I do need a contract therefor and how much it's gonna cost for the product that you're going to use in my yard. I had to really pull their teeth just to get a cost estimate of the products that put in the yard. They gave me a overall general cost, but as far as the grass, the sod, the seed and everything, they just lumped everything together in one price. I said that's not what I want; I need to know if you need this many pounds of lawn seed, how much it costs, what type of seed. If you need this many cubic feet of dirt, the cost of it, what it is, if you're gonna be using these type of plants, I didn't know what type of plants and the cost, and so forth. So if you'd be kindly enough the next project to give me that type, we can go ahead and do another project which will cost two or three times as much as the small project. And he refused to do a contract. I waited and waited and never gave a contract, so I'm looking to find someone else.
Description of Work: They placed topsoil and corrected a ditch where a fence was and the contractor that removed the fence did not grade the area, so they graded the area and planted short decorative grass.
