I had a date set to move across country to my new house out west. I had a date set. (I actually had been talking to this company for a couple of months working out the best times) They called six days before and said they had a scheduling error and couldn't move us until the next day. I couldn't change my move date because I sold my house and I had a contract that stated I needed to be moved out and the new owners couldn't change the date with their movers. It was the busiest move week of the year. No other mover could do it. I was in a nightmare. I was out of state and had to fly in a hurry, which is expensive, then I had to rent two Uhaul trucks, find loaders and a driver for one of the trucks and a company to unload at the other end. Stressful and completely unnecessary.
