Treated us like trash, lied ,bullied new help. They had to be baby sat through the whole thing. The slowest criminal man ever to work was so uneducated he missed the grade school lesson about the scent added to natural gas. America looks mighty stupid sending out oblivious insurance scammers that cant' even correctly put together cabinets. Puzzled with the pre fabrication and allowed to continue to steal without loosing his job. If the owner is unaware then I hope they heads this warning and gets that snake before they looses everything.

Two years after the work was completed, the stucco layer is separating from the wall such that one can easily punch a hole in it. Repairs on a small section were made, but a patch with rough edges was left unpainted for months and finally finished after repeated calls from us. The patch needed to be scored horizontally, which appears to have been done by hand rather than using proper equipment, because the scoring is thin and wavy rather than deep and straight. In late July we asked that the proprietor, Rick LaVigne, come up to inspect the wall separation to discuss what might be done. We provided details and photos, and followed-up by phone multiple times. Mr. LaVigne made assurances for weeks that he would come but no action had been taken by September 11 and he did not respond to an email sent on August 31. So we must conclude that Blue Lake Group does not do stucco work properly and does not stand behind its work.

These guys were so nice and professional. If anything came up they were able to communicate easily with me or my husband and resolve issues quickly. I know I had this service a few years back, but these guys are great, they are in my area often and see them from time to time and had to let you how great they are.

and invoiceMembers of Blue Lake Group's staff made contact with my daughter (who is my tenant) within a reasonable time after I provided the required deposit. They measured the door a second time before ordering. I reminded the front office that they needed to schedule the report date/time with my daughter instead of me since I lived away from the property. They installed the gas line in a short period of time and I am pleased with that work. They had problems getting the proper sized door. It took 3 times to get it right (of course they blamed the door company for the first two incorrect doors. However, I had a constant problem with them keeping me informed of the ongoing status. It seemed that they became more engaged only after I traveled from Wash, DC to Stockbridge, GA to visit them in person to inquire on the status. The staff told me that they were having a problem because their supplier would only communicate with them via email (wouldn't accept a phone call). After that visit things got moving and the door was delivered and installed. Yesterday as I was working on payments I had due I was prepared to send them payment. However, I noticed their contract in Para 3B stated..."and the remaining amount due when Contractor completes the services and submits and (and is their wording) invoice. Owner shall pay Contractor upon receipt of Contractor's invoice." So I decided to wait for receipt of the invoice. Anyway, I received a call from either a manager or the owner of Blue Lake Group this morning basically demanding payment. (I later spoke with my daughter who told me that she had received a call from them blunting telling her that she was late in the 10 day payment period (which is not mentioned anywhere in the contract that I can see). I went ahead and paid the remaining portion, but also reminded the company that they had not provided the invoice as they were contractually required to do. They did provide one via email marked as paid after I provided them the payment info - they did "waive" the processing fee. Never received an adequate apology for taking so long to complete the work. Work, once completed, was good but the hassle to get it completed would not permit a recommendation to hire them. I also dislike the strong-arm action regarding payment especially in view that they failed to follow their own contractual requirements.

The representative didn't seem knowledgeable enough to inspire confidence that the work would be done properly. Interactions with the office personnel were not managed very professionally.

The plumbing work under my sink was shoddy and done incorrectly. I then called other qualified plumbers who stated the work was done incorrectly. The plumbing work that they did has caused me constant problems.

They were prompt and their price was very reasonable. The work was very professional. They made recommendations on stuff that I wasn't aware of. They actually went above and beyond and used some of the material that they had taken out from the side of my house, couple of spots that I had hid in the back of my house with the weed eater and replaced that at no extra charge. They do roofing and siding work.

On the appointment date, a co-owner of the business came out to discuss the details of the job and get the necessary information for the estimate. He was late arriving for the appointment but did not bother to let us know that this would be the case. After making his apologies, we discussed the details of the work to be done. During the discussion he made some helpful suggestions concerning certain design aspects of the door overhangs. He then took measurements that would be needed for the estimate. When this was completed, he told us that it would be three to four days before the estimate would be ready, and that we would receive it via e-mail. After waiting a week, I called the office to see if the estimate was ready. I was told that the estimate had not yet been prepared, and that the delay was probably due to material costs that had not yet been provided. After approximately another week passed, I still had not received the estimate. I called the office again. The lady I spoke with could find no record of an estimate for me. She said would have the owner contact me. As of the date of this review, I have not received an estimate, and no one from the company has contacted me.

Called them and made an appt for the next day and have not seen or heard from them 30+ days later.

New roof, painting inside and outside, new door, new bath, hardware, built AV units, butter pantry, pantry, tile picture frame back splash, etc.
