I have been using this service for many years, thinking it was convenient to use the service sponsored by my utility - Cobb EMC. But as with any monitoring service you never know if you are getting any value for your money until you have a problem. The several problems that I have had over the last several years were not resolved by the technicians - if you could even get them to help you. And several times we accidentally set the system off - and got no response or call from the service. Fortunately I learned how to unplug the system! When we could get a technician out, they had no clue. And lastly, the one thing they are good at is writing contracts that lock you into paying for a full year if you try to cancel the contract - even long after the initial contract term - so you can spend more money with no service or value added.... Even trying to cancel the contract was made as difficult as possible.

Response from INTERLINK CONTROL SECURITY
InterLink Control was contracted by you to activate monitoring of your existing security alarm system on 8/9/2002. Note that your system was existing and not installed by InterLink Control. To activate your existing system, we programmed the dialer to route calls to our monitoring station receiver. You experienced problems with your motion sensors soon after we activated the system. On 8/22/2009 we returned to your home to service your existing system at NO charge. We again returned to service your system on 11/13/2007 to reset a trouble on your system due to a faulting device in your existing system. 11/20/07 we again gave you service at NO charge to correct problems with your system. Please note that your agreement with InterLink Control clearly states that existing systems installed by other companies are not covered under warranty. We value our customers and therefore absorbed the cost of servicing your system on more that one occasion. You stated that "several times you accidentally set the system off and go no response or call from the service". Your monitoring agreement clearly states that you need to test your system regularly to ensure communication. If you have a communication failure, it is your responsibility to contact us to let us know of the problem. Our records do not indicate that you tested your system on a regular basis or that we were requested to service your system due to a communication failure. The last service request was on 11/20/2007. Our monitoring agreement as well as most all service agreements auto renew at the term of the agreement. This protects the customer as well as the company to ensure that the protections set forth in the agreement are current and valid. We do not hide this fact nor do we attempt to make our customers bear an unreasonable burden to cancel. In fact, your agreement was canceled by our company as requested. We have made multiple calls to you attempting to resolve your complaint and have not received a call back from you. I regret that you are unhappy with the services we provided and would welcome an opportunity to have an honest dialog with you about the facts.

They are reasonable in cost, they are highly responsive and they care about customer satisfaction. If there is a problem, they fix it right away. We are completely satisfied with this particular company.
