+ 0 moreI recently moved to the Stockbridge area 2 years ago, and have not had the privilege to meet very many honest and trustworthy folks, so, when I hired Big Mo's lawn care service, I was pleasantly surprised. Here is my story: I had received a couple of really horrible experiences with previous land scaper/lawn folks, and no I did not use my Angies list for references, crazy me. So I decided to use my membership with Angie that I have been paying for and not using for the past 6-8 months. I found Big Mo's lawn care. I emailed him and he came right out surveyed my property, called me about my needs and emailed me a quote the next day as promised. He quoted me a price of $200, this startled me because one of the horrible experiences, quoted me the same price, which he only mowed my grass, and blew all the leaves from the front yard to the back yard and, led me to believe that, that was not what he did. I called Big Mo right away regarding the price and asked for an explanation of the cost, which he so kindly did. It took me a few weeks to get past the notion that he was trying to rip me off again, and remembered that I got his information from Angie and could post my experience be it bad or good. So to make a long story short, Big Mo came out, mowed, weeded, laid mulch, and pine straw, all for $200. My lawn is now the envy of my neighbors and I am so grateful. I have now entered into an agreement with Big Mo to be my lawn service. I have been so impressed with his honesty, professionalism, and caring. If you are looking for a great person that will treat you with respect and give you A1 service, please, don't hesitate to contact Big Mo's service.

We are planning on signing a contract with them. I would recommend Big Mo to my best friend, which is quite an extreme compliment.

Description of Work: THIS IS A FOLLOW-UP FROM A PRIOR REVIEW ON MR. MO'S LAWN CARE SERVICE. (SEE PRIOR REVIEW) AS I MENTIONED IN MY PRIOR REVIEW ON MR. MO'S LAWN CARE SERVICE. AFTER REVIEWING ANGIE'S LIST OF LAWN CARE PROVIDERS, I CALLED MR. MO. ON THE PHONE. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. I ASKED HIM ABOUT BERMUDA AND FESCUE GRASS, HE EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENCE IN TREATING BOTH. I WANTED HIM TO START TREATMENT THEN , MR. MO SAID, IT WAS NOT TIME TO START TREATMENT. TREATMENT USUALLY STARTS IN APRIL. I REALLY APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY. A APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT MR. MO DID NOT TRY TO SCAM ME OUT OF MONEY.I APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT MR. MO DID NOT CUT THE CONVERSATION SHORT, HE TOOK HIS TIME AND ELABORATED ON A LOT OF ISSUES SURROUNDING PROPER LAWN CARE. I WILL FAST FORWARD NOW. I CALLED MR. MO. AGAIN NEAR THE TIME OF THE GRASS CARE SEASON. HE SAID, HE WOULD ANALYZE MY LAWN AT THE BEGINNING OF LAWN SEASON, A COUPLE OF MONTHS PAST, AFTER THAT CONVERSATION I FELT HE ERASED ME FROM HIS LIST., ONLY FOR HIM TO CALL ME AT THE BEGINNING OF APRIL SAYING THAT HE HAS ANALZED MY LAWN AND IS READY TO GIVE ME A QUOTE. MR. MO. WAS PARKED OUT SIDE WHEN HE MADE THIS CALL. I WAS TOTALLY, SURPRISED. WE MET HE GIVE ME A QUOTE WHICH WAS FAIR AND REASONABLE. I WAS GIVEN THE OPTION TO PAY MONTHLY OR I COULD SAVE MONEY AND A CONTRACT FOR THE SEASON , HE ALSO SAID, MY HEDGES REQUIRED TRIMMING AND HE WOULD CHARGE FOR TRIMMING SEPARATELY.THE INITIAL PRICE WAS AROUND $125.00 I THINK, $75.00 FOR TRIMMING , $50.00 FOR CUTTING OF THE FRONT AND BACK YARD. MY YARD IS NOT A STARTER HOME YARD. MR. MO. DID AN EXCELLENT JOB EVEN RECEIVED COMPLIMENTS FROM NEIGHBORS , THEY SAID, IT WAS A PROFESSIONAL JOB. MR. MO. IS NOW, CUTTING MY YARD EVERY TWO WEEKS AND HIS PRICES ARE EXTREMELY REASONABLE. HE GIVES MANY DISCOUNTS IF YOU CONTRACT WITH HIM. HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME, CALLS THE DAY BEFORE HE COMES . I HAVE ZERO COMPLAINTS CONCERNING HIS WORK , HE ALWAYS DOES A PROFESSIONAL JOB. MR. MO HIRED TWO MEN WHOM HE WAS TRAINING, ONE MADE A MISTAKE, CRACKED MY BATHROOM WINDOW. AFTER NOTIFYING MR. MO. ABOUT THE ACCIDENT, HE APOLOGIZED, WASTED NO TIME CONTACTING A COMPANY TO REPLACE MY WINDOW. WINDOW DO TO BE REPLACED TOMORROW. LASTLY, I FELT MR. MO. NEEDS RECOGNITION FOR THE WONDERFUL WORK HE DOES, HIS HONESTY, INTEGRITY, PROFESSIONALISM STANDS OUT ABOVE THE REST. + -1 moreAfter viewing Angie 's List , I selected to call a business in my area to possibly arrange to have my lawn aerated , I decided to call Mr. Mo's in Stockbrige,. Ga. because they are open on Saturday's. When I called, I left a message on his answering machine , of course not really expecting a call back until maybe Monday, this has been my experience with a lot of companies. I most add, his message on his answering machine is a giver ( Very polite, thankyou for considering him message). Mr Mo's called me back in less than 15minutes of me leaving a message on his answering machine. I would recommend Mr. Mo to anyone just from his honesty, He informed me that now in October was not the best time to aerate and seed bermudagrass,also explained the best time to aerate and seed fescue.Although , Mr. Mo has not directly performed any work for me as of this date , He gets an A and is the best man for the job. I truly believe him to be a respectful trustworthy honest human being. Mr. Mo could have been evasive with me, in the hopes of obtaining a job. This was not the case. YES ! I Mr. Mo is the one you need when it comes to lawn care.
Description of Work: I Will hire Mr. Mo's this spring for aeration and seeding of lawn. Called to get best time for aerating and seeking the lawn. Mr. Mo, he was honest and provided the information I asked even through he knew this would not mean a job for him. Mr. Mo. told me the best time was in april for seeding and aerating bermudagrass, he also explained the best time for aerating and seeding fescuegrass. I was extremely impressed with this gentlemen. He is very pleasant, polite, respectful , informative and most of all honest .I feel this is an individual anyone can trust. I know I do.

The fee for his services are reasonable compared to some other quotes that I have been given. I must commend him for his great work and I was extremely impressed with his work. My lawn looks like a fresh vacuumed rug once the service is completed. In the 12 years that I have needed lawn care service I have never received so many compliments on my yard until Big Mo?s lawn Care started servicing my lawn. I appreciate the time the care that he puts in on every appointment to ensure customer satisfaction. I have and will continue to recommend Big Mo?s Lawn Care service to everyone with a yard. I was pleasantly surprised by their responsiveness. You know the feeling where you can tell a company is merely putting their best foot forward to win your business and in the back of your mind you question whether or not they can or will keep it up? Well, this was nothing like that. I honestly feel as if I've been a loyal customer for years and they are treating me as such. They arrived in company shirts, provided introduction, explained the services to be provided that day and restated the quote. After he was assured he'd answered all of my questions, he went to work. You can tell he takes pride in his work based on the time he takes in the details0. He didn't rush through my property to get the next one on his schedule. Watching him work was like watching him do his own lawn, that is how much care he gave my property. They did such a good job on my lawn that my neighbors began working on their's: watering, mowing, weeding, etc. which makes me smile and chuckle a little . . . The service can not be beat and his prices are reasonable and don't fluctuate from the time of quotation to the time of service - if you know what I mean.
