Scott and his team were awesome. They showed up right on time and did impeccable work, digging neat trenches and leaving totally level/smooth surfaces with minimal mess. They also checked our system overall and double-checked their work before leaving. While on the job, Scott also gave free advice as to how to better take care of our lawn (since we don't have any kind of regular service). In short, Big Blue Sky is awesome! We would totally use them again.

This was a tough job, and Scott and team were terrific. They did a RARE job: came in when a previous contractor had screwed up, and re-assessed and designed, established trust with us, and did an efficient and lovely landscaping/hardscaping job in a complex area. Straightforward, skilled, responsive.

The staff is okay. They have been really good about promptness in the winter. They have been more sporadic. I do think the quality of the work is pretty good.

They are currently working for us we pay them some sort of fee for them to workout the design for the front of our house. We are still finalizing our plan and most likely we would do it sometimes early next year, but not necessarily using them to implement the design. My experience has been great so far.

They were awarded the contract because they were the most competitive company. They had the best price at that time.

My initial phone call and meeting with Big Blue Sky went very well. I felt they were knowledgeable about lawn care and maintenance. We discussed exactly what I would like to have completed. Upon receiving the estimates, which were reasonable, I agreed to move forward. As for the good, they were on time and and quot;completedand quot; each project when they said they would have it completed. And now for the bad…the sod installed in the backyard was not what I had expected. When I arrived home, there was a 2 foot strip of dirt/mud around the edge of my lawn between the sod and the fence. The sod did not come remotely close to the fence. I emailed BBS the next day and much to my relief they told me that they did not have enough sod to finish the job. However, there was no note or an email or anything that told me this. I had to email and ask. When they did come back out and “finish” the job, there was still a 2 foot strip of dirt/mud around the lawn. They added a couple of pieces but it was to another section of the lawn. After emailing again, I had asked why there was still a strip of dirt around my lawn. We discussed on the phone and I was told, “It’s best practice because when you edge your lawn you don’t want to damage the fence or your equipment by placing the lawn too close to the fence. You can add pine straw or plant bushes around the edge.” While I appreciate their attention to the care of my fence and equipment, I did not want to plant bushes or use straw. I wanted my backyard to have sod. I emailed once again and asked if we could fill this in anyways, even if it required additional payment. They merely wrote back and said “I would not recommend doing so.” There was no alternative or potential solution; nothing. After emailing yet again and calling both the mainline and mobile, I asked if we could get closer to the fence and leave a 6 inch gap instead of 2 feet. I was told that they would not recommend going any closer than 1 foot. I agreed. I was told I would receive an estimate for the additional sod needed to complete. After a week, I have yet to receive a phone call, email, smoke signal, carrier pigeon or letter. I have sent two emails and left a voice mail asking for a response. If they do not want to or do not plan on moving forward with the job as promised, then please let me know. The final nail in the coffin was that one-time maintenance service. Overall they did what I had asked for. However, they missed trimming a large bush in the front yard. Upon discussing with BBS they asked if I would like someone to come out and trim it, since they missed it. I agreed. I have yet to hear from them and I have yet to have anyone come out and finish the job. I have already contacted another lawn service and they have been a pleasure to work with. I should have used them to begin with.

They're one of the best service providers I've ever, ever, ever worked with. The quality of service, friendliness, and the guarantee of their work have kept me going back to them. I just love them. I have recommended them to our entire neighborhood. They're phenomenal.

Every project, and all of my projects have been large undertakings, have been well thought out, well discussed and agreed upon and well executed. I have recommended BBS to my entire neighborhood. They pretty much have taken over our neighborhood. Scott, the owner, is wonderful. Actually their whole team is wonderful, to the one! Scott took time to get to know us and what we liked and didn't like. He listened intently and remembered our likes and dislikes from day one. He is always plenitful with ideas yet very open to hearing mine. I feel with the design we worked as a team. With the maintenance and seasonal color I totally trust him and he always pleases. The only time I have been less than 100% pleased was when BBS was going through some growing pains a few years ago and I felt a little neglected. Scott and I talked. He assured me they were working out the logisitics of growing and their service would be back to 'normal' if not better. He was right. Again, BBS listens to me and takes goog care of me and my home.

I pay $65 for a chemical treatment and that includes a few other maintenance things. I was initially turned onto them because of their promptness and knowledge of the owner as well as his staff. They have done quite a bit of hardscaping as well as following through on a master landscape plan for me. They are a little bit on the high side but I am very particular. I feel it is valued priced for me based on the services I receive.

They are very professional and do a fantastic job. They do the work in our entire community. Their quality is suburb. They are a little costly but they are worth it. They are licensed and insured and he has very qualified staff.

I appreciate their attention to detail and they stand behind their quotes. They have good attention to detail and do not ask for money until the job is done. The workers are great and are willing to spend time to answer any questions that you may have and make sure that they address any installation concerns that I have. I know I can find companies that will perform the work at less cost but I don't feel as comfortable with that all the time. I would rather know that I am paying a fair price and knowing that all my concerns are met and I am getting a job well done. I have recommended them to friends and will use them again in the future.
