Ready Plumbing

Work That was needed: Installation of sump pump in crawl space in order to remove water in crawl space. Estimate of $1665 was sent via email on 4/4/2024. Details were not presented on the invoice, but Mr. Dye with Ready Plumbing assured us that the final invoice would have details of work that was done. ½ payment was made prior to work starting and remaining ½ was made upon completion of the work. Work was completed on April 11. Unfortunately, we were not able to physically go under house and examine the work. Mr. Dye assured us that he would send pictures and the final invoice would detail the work done. A few days after the installation my husband was forced to go into crawl space because of an issue with the furnace and was able to see the work that was done. That is when we saw the work that was done. On April 16 we sent an email to Mr. Dye with our concerns. Portion of the email is listed below: We would like to discuss the sump pump installation that you did at 80 Princeton Trace. After examining photos of the work and making a physical examination of the actual area we have identified several areas of concern that need to be corrected. • The pump was placed in a bucket and should be placed in a sump basin with the appropriate lid. The paperwork for the pump (that Mr. Dye gave us) had instructions that detailed that pump should be placed in a basin with top. • The dirt that was dug out for the pump pit should be removed from under the house. • Surface in the crawl space should be graded so water would flow to sump pump pit (which should have been lowest part of the crawl space.) Plastic covering should be replaced (if possible). • Some type of peat gravel should be placed in the bottom of the sump pump pit. Mr Dye refused to make any corrections or discuss how we could come to any agreement without more funds.

Excellent job

It went very well. Steve initially diagnosed it as a leak in the sprayer hose. I ordered a new one with 2day ship from Amazon. He came back after it arrived and installed it then waited to assure it fixed the problem. After 10 or 15 minutes the drip started again. Steve then called Moen and waited until they finally answered, he explained the problem and actions to them and they mutually determined it to be a defect in the faucet body. Steve got them to send out a new complete faucet assembly and as soon as it arrived Steve made a 3rd trip out to install it and again waited to make sure there were no leaks. There was no additional charge for the 2 extra trips and he still gave me my senior and Angies List discounts. Above and beyond!!!!

Steve did an excellent job--he explained the problem and how he was going to fix it, and updated me on his progress as he worked. Definitely recommended!

I am extremely disappointed. The corrective work was done improperly--it was not to Code and had to be torn out for the 2nd time. Mr. Dyer has refused to accept any responsibility for his role. Has refused to assist in any way. And he has now begun to ignore my calls, emails and text messages. I am now faced with not only having to hire another plumber, but with the additional cost of retaining legal counsel.

Excellent service. Steve who previously installed a faucet at my home, returned and was able to spot the problem immediately. He was able to resolve the issue and was extremely courteous.

They did a superb job. I describe to them what was happening and they pretty much knew right away, the minute they came in because I just come in from out of town the same day and water pressure in my house was like ridiculously low and I thought it might have been related to the construction going in the area but it wasn't.

Steve arrived early and determined the problem to be worn faucet stems and tub drain pipe. Steve was very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of plumbing. Got it fixed and now no leaks. Very reasonable price. Will call on Ready Plumbing (Willie) for any future plumbing jobs. Highly Recommend.

I had problems with other plumbers attempting to rip me off. Thus, I called Angie's List to eliminate previous plumbing services on this site. Angie's List located this plumbing service within two miles of my home, and I called them. The estimator was right at my home within a few hours to diagnose the reason my water pressure dropped throughout my house in one day. The plumber came out to my home at around 6 PM and within a few minutes pressure throughout my house was restored, and my old water pressure regulator was replaced with a high-quality bronze regulator that should have been installed by my home builder. It was fast, without a mess, and expertly done.

Willy kept great communication leading up to the appointment. Once he arrived he gave a clear and concise estimate for the work to be done. He made recommendations for water heaters and the work was scheduled. Once the crew arrived two days later (on time which I love) they went right to work. They were both personable and worked HARD and efficiently. The job was completed the same day. I would hire ready plumbing again in a second! Thanks to Willy and the team for a wonderful experience.

I called Wiley at Ready Plumbing last week and asked if Steve, their Plumber that installed a new toilet in our house about 2 months ago, could come on the 19th and install a second new toilet in the upstairs bathroom. He just wanted to know what time we wanted Steve here and that was it - he was here at that time today. Wiley had already told me it was the same charge as last time with no increase in charges. Steve went right to work and in less than an hour it was done. The toilet was professionally installed and the work area completely cleaned up and shiny. (I like that Steve is a very careful Plumber who likes to clean as he works.) Steve always hauls away the old toilet and all the packing material so all you have to do is enjoy the new "throne". I honestly can't say enough good things about Ready Plumbing. They are friendly, very fair in their pricing, and absolutely committed to doing a great job at a fair price. I honestly know I'm going to get a great job, and not gouged at the wallet.

The service was done well and fairly. They were done in a reasonable amount of time. I had them come out and quote not only the service performed (laundry plumbing) but a tankless water heater. Ron was honest about not being able to beat another plumber's price on the tankless. He was very straightforward and I felt he was a man of integrity.

Please note the cost listed is a total for 2 visits. The first was just a service call that determined we needed a new toilet. I asked that they come back today to install the toilet we purchased a Lowes. His (Steve) arrival was delayed because he had an emergency water heater installation. No problem. They kept me updated by phone, and I wasn't going anywhere. When Steve arrived he jumped right in removing the old porceline throne, then installing the new one. He was polite and very professional. I really liked that all along while he was installing the new toilet he kept the work area very clean, and took great care not to stain the carpet or damage anything. When he was done he cleaned his work area and the new toilet. It took about a hour, but I think only because he had to saw the old mounting bolts off (hey, they had been there over 20 years and were very "set" in their ways). I will definitely keep Ready Pluming in the Rolodex.
