+ -1 moreOriginally, the work was going extremely poorly with low quality sub-contractors, very low quaility of work done and non-responsiveness of Smith Bailey and their sub-contractors. At this point in time I had given a rating of "F". Subsequently we were able to get Rob McClure engaged directly to manage the construction and things got substantially better as Rob stayed engaged with us and his sub-contractors. Thanks to Rob, the shoddy work was re-done correctly and Rob was responsive to get things done right for us, albeit, after a long period of difficulty. I believe that if Rob had managed this project from the beginning I would be giving an "A" or "B" rating to them for this work, but given the long period of difficulty and the initial work done, I feel that a "C" rating is fair and accurate.
Description of Work: Smith Bailey was hired as recommended by my insurance company to make repairs due to tree damage to the house.

Description of Work: We called Smith Bailey for a tree removal service after a tree had crushed the living room and master bedroom. They were there in one hour and tree was gone the same day.

+ -1 moreThere were some walls that were taken out during our remodeling project and they had to weave in new flooring to match the old original flooring. I can't even tell a difference. We have hardwood floors throughout our entire ranch style, three bedroom, 2 bath house and now I'm sure they are as beautiful as when the house was built.

They told me the work should be completed in about 4 months and it has been 7 and a half months. I had been going to my home everyday and never saw any of the workers. The caulking in the bathroom looks horrible, they did a lousy job. They weren't on time. I have contacted them so many times and they don't return my phone calls. I had the city inspector come out twice to confirm things were being done correctly. He had stated there were things that needed to be corrected. The flooring at the entrance into my foyer doesn't meet to the front door.
Description of Work: I had a fire in my home and they came out to remodel the home.
