Went great. On time, on budget. No mess, no fuss.

I have a rental property that needed renovations. The master bathroom countertop, which was outdated and dingy, has an odd shape. I spoke to one of the major home improvement stores to see what could be done. The sales clerk had to contact their contractor to see if he would be able to assist me. After about a week of back and forth conversations, they informed me they could replace the counter top, but the price was very high and even worse it would take an additional 3 weeks to complete. Because this is a rental propery, time is money. On Saturday April 19th, I began to call "handyman services" from Angie;s list. Because it was Saturday, I was onlyable to leaving messages, until Butch, from Atlanta Maintence Managment Services, answered his phone. After we spoke, he agreed to meet me at 5 that evening. We met, he gave me a price of $275 , which was less than 1/3 less the quote I received from the major home store, but even more important he said he would have it completed in 1 week. We agreed and he took the countertop that day. A few days later he contacted me to let me know that the material was a little more pricey than he had expected and the total price would be $325, he wanted get my go ahead before he got started. The new price was still 1/3 of the major home improvement store. I was pleased that he had wanted to let me know in advance and not just tell me the price changed on delivery. I agreed to the price and early Saturday morning he phoned to delivery my finish product , one week to the day just as he promised. The bathroom looks so nice, so different. I will definitely plan to use his services again, I have a lot of projects to complete in my home and I definately would highly recommend him.

I continue to use Atlanta Maintenance Management Services for whatever issues I have in the house that needs repairing. He is dependable, prompt, does a great job of woods craftsman, does not nickel and dime you, reasonable in cost and just easy to work with.

I have intended to repaint the master bathroom in my loft for a while. Of course I have always been "too busy" to get around to it. I am glad I finally signed up. The team came in properly masked and removed fixtures and was out in way under 2 hours. I am definitely going to use them again.

Even though there was question as to whether or not I had actually paid for the service, Butch showed up on the day and time we had discussed and painted my daughter's nursery. He did a great job, was friendly and cleaned up perfectly. I would definitely use Butch again!

Butch is my go to guy.....for almost every project. I keep a running list and, when I can afford to do the work, I call Butch, and he comes and takes care of it. I have been using him for years and can say I couldn't find a more honest, trustworthy, reliable and capable contractor if I tried.

It went great. Easy to schedule, they worked quickly and it looks great. They moved and covered the furniture, too. Butch and his assistant (I forget her name) do the work, not like most companies where the owner does the scheduling and estimating and then you never see him again.

Two people showed up on time. They were easy to talk to and saw a simple solution to the problem. The guy fixed it and it looks great. I would definitely hire them again.

He was considerate to let me know that he does not do vinyl siding. I might use him for other projects. He answered all of my questions.

I continue to call on him for all of my household repairs. He is always prompt, reasonable, and thorough in his work. I recommend him often to family and friends.

Butch arrived on time and all the work was completed as outlined. Butch made sure the job was done correctly and did not cut any corners to get it done. While he was at my home, I had something else for him to look at while there and he was able to repair the area. Butch was very friendly and his workmanship on the problem areas of my home were outstanding. I will be calling him again.

This is a review from service rendered several months ago. They were very professional. I paid for 2 hrs of handyman services and it took all of the time to swap out a water heater. They informed me that I would have to pay for the additional materials which was OK by me. The materials cost was a little higher than I expected (maybe $60 when I expected $30-40), but overall the net cost for installing a heat pump water heater in a professional manner was great. He had never installed a heat pump water heater but it was done properly (basically an extra drain line was required and he ran it in a way I approved).

Once we decided upon time he was their and completed the job in a timely manner.

Over the course of a year, some stains appeared on our walls which we guessed came from a water leak. Butch found the problem: poor replacement of shingles by the installers of a gutter guard we had put in several years ago. He sealed the shingles across the length of the house, sanded, plastered, primed and painted the wall damage. We also had a light fixture in our kitchen that stopped working. Butch discovered that the wiring had failed as there was no current at the junction box. He took care to cut two small openings in the wall, managed to feed new wiring to the junction box, and patched/painted the walls when he was done. He also installed a new fixture in our living room. Butch also installed a washer and dryer for us. We're incredibly satisfied with his work, and will definitely be calling him again in the near future.

Came to make estimate one day. Came another day to do the work. Very nice people.

Butch and Kathy showed up a little early for the job which was great, and they were very thorough and knowledgeable throughout the estimate. They obviously knew exactly what they were doing, and they were able to finish our project the same day. The new window trim looks fantastic, and they were very considerate and respectful while installing the new window screens inside our home. We will most definitely be calling them again!

Overall this was the most conscientious and capable handyman I have ever hired! I can't thank Angie's list enough for recommending him! I have a list of more work that I need his services for and feel confident that he can complete all the work and not deplete my financial resources. He saved me a lot of money already. If I had hired a specialist for all the different jobs he did, it would of cost me considerably more time and money. Mr. Meyer and his assistant came to my house in advance of coming back to do the two hours of handyman work. I don't know if they always do this, but maybe because I had so many different jobs that needed to be done, he said he could come out to understand what needs to be done. He returned as scheduled ready and eager to work. He started outside on my gutters,They were leaking and coming detached in three separate places. It has since rained and they are not leaking anymore. He then fixed the front screen door, which remained unfixed for years.He then fixed my dryer (he took it apart, exposing all its inner parts, he figured out what was wrong, and fixed it. It's now working again like new! He then fixed the lock on my sliding glass door. I was impressed with his ability to figure things and get things done that none else could. Excellent. Have used Butch several times, from big jobs like painting, to small jobs, and he always does a great job.

This was a husband and wife team. They were very polite, knowledgeable, and professional. On time and the work was excellent. The price was good.

I was expecting to pay the price that was quoted, especially coming from Angie's List.

The job went extremely well. Butch was on time to the minute. He was polite, very neat, and very knowledgeable about the job he did. He was very fair in that he revised his estimate downward when the job took less time than he thought. Excellent work. P.S. YOur website would not let me in to review his handyman/plumbing job. It made me include exterior painting as a category, which does not apply in the case. However, in order to write a well deserved glowing review of the work Butch did do, I had to include the category "exterior painting" so that I could get to the review page.

They did a good job from what I can tell.

Mr. Meyer came out to the house and met with my husband about the work we needed done. He told my husband he would have an estimate to us by the next day. We never heard back from him. After reading the reviews here on Angie's list, it seems to be a common practice. Not sure why he would want to take the time to come out and meet with prospects if he doesn't follow up with an estimate.

After a few weeks the toilet that they re-installed during the tiling installation went bad. It was new from Home Depot and never had a problem before and ever since the occurrence of inadequate flushing happens. When AMMS finished the re-installation of the toilet they neglected to fasten the toilet correctly because a washer and bolt on one side was loose and adhesive material was viewable. When we called various plumbers they all said that the person who reinstalled the toilet must come and fix it. The leveling of the tiles were also not good in both the small bathroom and kitchen. Also, some trim pieces that were installed had nails still sticking out and he never came to fix it.

Super job, been trying to get the leak into the garage fixed for a long time. All the work on the house was well done. Butch was very prompt and thorough.
