Simply put, to provide the best quality maintenance services available, at competitive rates. My name is Butch Meyer, and I am the Founder and President of AMMS. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in my company and would like to take a moment to give you some insight into my background, experience and to explain goals and objectives for AMMS. Over the past 28 years, I have provided Maintenance Management services to several of the nations largest multi-family management firms including R&B Realty Group, Oakwood Worldwide and Post Properties. During this tenure, I have had the opportunity to manage maintenance departments for multi-family residential properties of all styles from single family homes to garden style apartment homes and high-rise hotel style buildings. Over the years I have forged many strong relationships with some of the nations leading parts suppliers and contractors. These relationships enable AMMS to pass on considerable savings to our clients.

Butch is so great. Not only does he do beautiful work but he is extremely professional and so reasonably priced. He is honest and trustworthy. I would recommend him to anyone. I could not be happier with the painting he did for us.

He came out, and did a very poor job. He stated that it was going to cost an additional $325 to paint the trim we inquiring about, so we ended up only asking him to paint our ceiling for an additional $50. He stated that when he puts out deals, he tries to get them done as quickly as possibly so that he can make up for the money he was losing by offering the special. I feel that because he was in such a hurry, the quality of the work was negatively affected.

Response from Atlanta Maintenance Management Services
The member purchased a coupon for painting 1 room walls only, one coat for $125.00. (please read the offer). I had several phone conversations with the homeowner discussing the room to be painted and what the process was. When I arrived the homeowner showed me the area to be painted which was changed from a 10’ x 10’ room to a 25 foot long hallway. The existing color on the walls was a deeptone coral color. The color purchased by the homeowner to be applied was a bright yellow. I immediately made the homeowner aware the color would not cover in one coat. The member was of the opinion that it would. I told him I could apply the one coat and we could take it from there. He agreed. He asked how much I would charge to paint the ceiling, I quoted $50.00 he agreed. He asked how much to paint the trim. The existing trim color was a cream/beige and he purchased pure white. Again, I made him aware that the pure white would most likely require 2 coats and again he said no it would cover he knows better. I quoted him for one coat, $35.00 per door/frame x 7 = $245.00 and $30.00 to paint the baseboards for a total of $275.00, a more then reasonable price. He agreed, then after speaking with his wife he declined. The coral color paint had been run up the edges of the door frames, I pointed this out to the homeowner and asked him if he wanted me to cover it or leave it to be covered with the trim paint as it should be, he said leave it to be done with the trim. I painted the ceiling and proceeded to apply the one coat to the walls and as I suspected, it did not cover at all. I do have photos depicting the previous color, new color and coverage. When the homeowner returned to the area he was totally distraught about the color saying and I quote “oh this will never fly my wife will hate this color this was supposed to be peach, this is kitchen yellow”. Since I was only aware of painting 1 room 1 coat on walls and was not aware of making any substantial color changes, I allotted the appropriate time in my schedule. I made the homeowner aware I would not have the time that day for the walls to dry and recoat the walls. I did however offer to return on Wednesday (2 days later) when he had time to select a color they would be happy with to recoat the walls at a reduced rate but the homeowner declined. He paid me for painting the ceiling, I finished up what I had been working on, cleaned up and left. As for “rushing” through the job, what was said was I would not have time to paint the trim that day because 7 doors/frames would require 5 or so hours to complete and I had already booked a second job for the afternoon. I explained because all I had been aware of was painting walls of 1 room which should be 2 hours at most, I schedule more then one job in a day. I NEVER told the member I had to rush through the job and to be clear, I arrived at the job at 9:15am and left at exactly 1pm so I spent 4 hours to complete a job that should have taken 2 hours. I was in no hurry. As for the ratings this member has given me, a C for price when they purchased a coupon for the work knowing full well what they were paying for? They give me a B for punctuality when the prearranged arrival time was between 9 and 930am with a 30 minute prior to arrival call? A C for Professionalism? I presented the homeowner with my business card upon arrival, I dressed in appropriate painters clothing, I was polite, I took the time to explain the entire process and I gave my honest opinions. I covered the entire work area and I cleaned up my work area before leaving. What is not professional about that. It is my opinion this member is looking to have the color changed and walls recoated for free. I was contracted to apply one (1) coat of paint to walls with paint provided by member. That is the service I provided. I do not guarantee any manufacturers product or color to cover in one coat.

Butch (owner) was always on time. If he subcontracted work out he was there everyday to check out all work. Had to be completed to his and owners satisfaction. If you need any contracting work done you must contact him.

Butch did an amazing job of painting the interior of my condo. He touched up my bad painting job in the bedroom, he painted the kitchen, living room, and office. He also painted my base boards and his trim work was perfect. That says a lot since my place is 70+ years old. He is very accommodating and flexible. I will use him again to paint my ceilings.

that is totally not true. The Job was scheduled for 12/4 and the member emailed me that the 4th no longer worked for her. her email read " Hello Butch, I think I'm too squished for time to do the painting on the 4th. Hopefully I can schedule something for the following week? And let's catch up by phone about the "state of the rooms", and what total services I might actually need. The cabinets are OK but wish he'd cut more deeply. Pipes are fine. He did a fantastic job on the wallpaper. He was on time and very professional; I referred him to friends and started to hear that he doesn't return phone calls.
Description of Work: Cut wooden cabinets so he could fit a new refrigerator into the space. Hid the seams then painted over wallpaper. Fixed a water pipe to stop leaks.

Mr. Meyer is honest, reliable and very professional. He arrived promptly at the time that was designated. He even stopped by to preview the job the week prior to the work date. I recommend him enthusiastically and without any hesitation to provide painting and any other maintenance services. I did not get a quote back and e-mailed and called. He finally said he decided he did not want the job, that it would not be profitable for him. I e-mailed him back and said I was sorry, that I really liked him, and asked why it would not be profitable? I have not heard anything back in response.

It went extremely well! No problems at all.
Description of Work: I have used Atlanta Maintenance Management Services for over 5 years for jobs ranging from painting a room to renovating my kitchen. They have been wonderful to work with - always responsive and on time and they do a fantastic job. Most recently they renovated a wall that leads from my living room to the patio by replacing two small windows and a door with an expanse of floor to ceiling windows and a door that opens up the room and the view beautifully onto a new deck (which they also did) and the backyard. The job included stone work (I have a full thickness brick house), wall framing and window placement, moving a door, electrical work, yard drainage, and building a large deck with steps and railings. I couldn't be more pleased. Not only was the result beautiful but they were careful about the plants in the yard and cleaned up thoroughly every day.

Work was done ahead of time and very professionally. About 1/4 of the siding was replaced. The defective portions were carefully removed and new planks installed. Butch was very thorough and a good communicator.

Agreed to paint laundry room and a bedroom wall. Was careful moving washer and dryer...no paint found on floor, doors, or anywhere but where it was supposed to be. Had a schedule conflict at the last minute...but worked it out so that he was able to come later that day and finish the job in 1 day as promised. Left him alone in the house, and felt confident that nothing would be disturbed. Bruce will bend over backward to please you...and give you a lot of bang for the buck

We contacted Butch, and he returned the call within an hour. We needed our back door replaced as quickly as possible. He was out there the next day by lunch, and installed a new door and frame that afternoon. His estimate was much less than others quoted, yet the quality of the work was above par. There was something that bothered us about the door later that evening. Turned out to be nothing...but he came immediately the next day and redid a portion of the installation to make sure we were 100% satisfied. We had him do a painting estimate while he was there, and look forward to him doing the job later this week. I highly recommend him for handi-work.
