Description of Work: Butch replaced the front door to include the woodwork around it. He also painted the door. Butch is such a pleasure to work with as he’s polite, professional and always timely. If you’re looking for a ‘fair’ guy Butch is your man. I would use him for future home projects.

Description of Work: I had several odd jobs that I needed done before I put my home on the market. The front fence needed to be painted, the back door and door frame had to be replaced, I had a problem with my kitchen panty door staying closed, my kitchen sink was slow to drain and leaking, my front door trim needed painting, etc. He did all of those to my satisfaction in a short time. I would definitely use his services again.

+ 3 moreThe work was superb, well above average. It was done on time and for a most reasonable price (judged by competitor prices). Our schedules sometimes changed and we wanted changes in the work, and Butch was always responsive.
Description of Work: We've used them for laying tile floors, painting the entire inside of our home, and refurbishing and staining a deck, and a variety of other small jobs.

+ -1 moreHe and Kathy were very professional and knowledgeable. They knew I had picked a stupid color for my dining room and they took the time to work with me on a new color and redid it. The color matching was superb and the overall job was thorough and well done. I did not have any issues with safety or security. They met my start date and were in and out of there ahead of schedule. I enjoyed working with them. I will certainly keep them in mind for other jobs.
Description of Work: We asked Butch to paint baseboards, crown moulding, french doors, and all other interior doors in nearly my entire house. In addition, he painted my complete upstairs hallway (he had to get a paint match for that), and my sunroom and dining room. In other words, a lot of detail work and patching.

Description of Work: Butch performed a lot of work for us and the cost was very reasonable. He installed a door in our basement, along with a threshold. He also removed and installed ceramic tile in our bathroom. He put new attic stairs in for us and a new attic door and installed two outdoor electrical outlets.

In every aspect of the project, from initial consultation to final invoicing Butch was extremely professional, patient and timely. I have a tremendous amount of work I'd like to do on this house and I will hire Butch to do it every time.
Description of Work: Replaced rotted plywood, set new tub, resurfaced drywall, replaced light, set approximately 90 square feet of ceramic tile, replaced electrical outlet, offered extensive guidance to help a new homeowner make financially sound and efficient decisions in remodeling process.

+ -1 moreThere is but one word to describe our experience: AWFUL. We chose this company because of its rating from other members of Angie's List.
Description of Work: Butch was friendly on the phone, and he arrived at our home to measure, etc. to give us an estimate. We had several follow-up phone calls BUT HE NEVER GAVE US AN ESTIMATE. Needless to say, he never did any work for us. Incidentally, almost 2 months have elapsed since he did the measurements, etc. We are no longer waiting for an estimate and we consider this to have been a most unsatisfactory experience.

Carpentry replacement of 60 LF 1x8 Facia across garage front. Carpentry replacement of 4 LF 1x6 Facia and soffit return on back side corner of garage. Painting & prime of 4 sides of all new wood. Caulk, prepare and paint finish sides with one coat latex white gloss. Gutters removed and replaced 83 LF 5'' white aluminum gutter across front of porch, garage and back of garage. Gutter replacement of 40 LF 3''x4'' white aluminum downspout. Carpentry replacement of 8lf Sturbridge-4 siding on right dormer drywall. + 2 moreMr. Meyer completed a variety of projects arriving promptly and working with consideration of the surroundings(ie, flower beds, furniture etc.). It was a lot of work but they tackled it methodically and in a way that was considerate of our uses of areas. He seemed to be quite knowledgeable about everything he did and I felt very comfortable that the job would be done right. He was also very good about cleaning up afterword. The work was done well and at what I feel was a very reasonable price for the amount accomplished.
Description of Work: Interior painting of vaulted great room and loft with adjoining halls, settling cracks repaired; Exterior of house pressure washed; Repair of rotted soffit under deck area with repair above of door frame and replacement of flashing above and below door to prevent further damage; Exterior caulking and painting of cedar siding, 3 deck levels, gazebo and partial fence; Replaced GFCI receptacle in bathroom; Repaired damaged area of a garage door.

+ -1 moreButch did an excellent job. He showed up to the appraisal appointment on time & went through all the details of what it would take to do the job. I knew exactly what was going to happen & he answered all of my questions & left me with a written estimate. Butch was there on site & performed the work himself with one other person. He moved all the furniture. He even moved the refrigerator & stove, as well a very heavy Bar. The paint looked great! After the work was done, he put all the fixtures back & replaced all the furniture in its original place. I was very satisfied & I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs interior painting done. I also found out that he does all types work, & I am going to consider him on my next home improvement project. I am glad I did my homework on Angie's List!
