I put off hiring an organizer for way too long I think I was reluctant fearing that it would be too painful or that I wasn't ready, but this was a great experience! Kristi has a steady, kind, upbeat personality - encouraging not pushy. She comes prepared, jumps right in and is tireless. She completely maximized the time we had. She put a plan in place and I just followed her lead. When I stalled, she moved on/around whatever was stalling us so we didn't get hung on on decisions I wasn't ready to make .This was so smart and allowed us to cross the finish line within a limited time frame. We were able to get to the end of my project that day doing a basic big picture organization of my garage that I'm super happy with. She gave me some homework assignments / ideas of other small projects that I can do on my own time until I can have her back to do another room or go to the next level on my garage. Thumbs up!
Description of Work: Helped me organize my garage and make decisions about what to keep/pitch/donate. Gave some structure to the use of space in my garage. Unrelated to the main garage project, she made suggestions on how to set up another spare bedroom to make it more functional.

Kristi not only organized everything to turn the space into a very practical and usable workroom, she explained the process and how to continue to add supplies without overwhelming the space.

Kristie was instrumental in helping to organize the clearing out and dispersal of 56 years of accumulated household items and clothing after the sale of my late parents house. Upon her recommendations, several vendors were hired for hauling off charitable donations, moving of furniture and heavy items, and a couple of receiving charities were chosen. She packed up all the breakables for moving and storage. In addition Kristie loaded up, inventoried and helped me deliver several vans full of clothing and items for various charities. She is also good for brainstorming ideas on handling various organization problems. Thanks to her my life has become more manageable. She has worked for me on and off since 2011 and I expect to use her more in the future.
Description of Work: Packing, loading, moving, household items from sale of home. Organizing and cleaning out closets. Rearranging, organizing and cleaning of basement. Organizing, wrapping, and the packing of furniture and household items to be moved to Florida for our second home. Put up and decorated our Christmas tree. Reshelving books and periodicals for husbands library.

Went well, I described at the beginning what involvement I wanted and was provided with that level of service.
Description of Work: Organized multiple spaces within our home, took fabric I had to a seamstress and had 5 pillows made, picked out trim for pillows which I ok'd sight unseen and turned out fabulous, when they picked up the pillows they were not happy with one of them and had seamstress redo it. Provided resources and photographic image/samples on ideas I wanted to look into (paint, built ins, etc.). Made purchases relating to various spaces we were organizing. Excellent, prompt, professional service. Recommend and would use them again.

After researching Truorder online, I called and spoke with Kristi Schneider who was professional, knowledgeable and personable. Truorder was the third company I interviewed over the phone and the only one I felt fully understood my organization needs. Her services were also reasonable...$45.00 an hour. An appointment was set up for her to help me organize the files in my office...genealogy, estate, health, home improvement, etc. She showed up on time and worked consistently for several hours and helped keep me on task so I could retrieve files later. During our initial "bonding" work session, I was able to learn all the other things she could assist me with in organizing my home. Due to me having a long term illness, my house developed many organization issues, all of which Kristi has been able address. The ongoing reshelving of books, setting up and returning files in my office, renovating closets, season decorating, etc. will keep Kristi coming back to my home for a long time. I have already recommended Kristi to friends who I know will be as pleased with her talents as me.
Description of Work: Kristi Schneider has worked for me several times and I will be using her services on a continuous basis. She helped me set up and update my quite varied filing system...organized closets...emptied bookcases of hundreds of books for short term storage... catorgorized and reshelved books in new bookcases...offered numerous solutions for organization problems. In addition, she took down my Christmas decorations and put them into storage and will be decorating my house this coming Christmas. Kristi is a joy to work with and has become my friend. So far, no job has been too big or too small for her. She will also be helping me to get my closets renovated and disperse household items in my late parents estate. Her ability to find solutions to homeowner problems is so helpful...her website also offers a plethora of businesses to aid homeowners in finding help with basic home maintenance, etc.
