+ -1 moreJeremy arrived to check on problems my computer was having with external communication. In spite of Atlanta traffic, he was on time and smiling. His recommendation was to replace the outdated equipment with new hardware. They put the equipment together and delivered it in four days. It was up and running in an hour, and I no longer have a metal box under my desk to kick. My level of computer knowledge is shown by my favorite cartoon - a cat standing in front of a pc with a sledge hammer. On the screen is a message - and quot;strike any keyand quot;. In spite of that, I have always had rapid response to any problem, which can often be fixed remotely. The computer is working without any problems, and I am totally satisfied with the response and service.
Description of Work: Replaced desktop computer running no longer supported programs with a new computer, transferred all files, and made sure that computer was functioning with network.

+ -1 moreMy husband brought his gaming PC into this local shop on 3/29 with a suspected failing video card. He picked it up on 4/3 and the PC and quot;works.and quot; Pros: * They correctly identified that the video card was failing. * They got the PC at least working again. * They did the work and returned the PC in exactly the time they originally quoted when he dropped it off. Cons: * They did not call once they identified the problem to ask us what we wanted to do about the failed card. They just stuck a video card into the PC and charged us for it. It is a low end card that is completely inadequate for gaming. Had they called, my husband would have specified a higher end card, and would even have gone and bought it from Best Buy for them to install (apparently they don't stock gaming equipment). Now we have to go buy that card anyway and install it ourselves, and throw away the garbage card they installed without permission and charged us for. * On top of that, they charged us $60 for a low end card that we can buy on amazon for under $30. Clearly installing this card without permission is just a way of padding their margins. So essentially we ended up paying $95 for a diagnosis of a failed video card, when their on-line price for diagnostics is about $35.

Description of Work: Successfully migrated our access database over to an SQL Server database via a third software party. This did an excellent job, no bugs or errors afterwards.
