When David arrived he quickly assessed the situation and completed the repair within a few minutes. I am grateful for his quick response and for completing the repair quickly. I highly recommend The PInk Plumber and especially David for responding and completing the repair on a Sunday. I will definitely use this company again for future repairs at my house.

Poorly. The septic system seems to be working OK (it's being inspected soon to ensure that it actually is OK) however, from the information received from the Georgia Attorney General's office, well over $2,000 of the work was unnecessary. Although The Pink Plumber has reached a settlement with the State of Georgia for $102,000 in restitution to affected consumers they are refusing to compensate us due to the "timing" of when our complaint was filed.

Very badly... Broke the waterline in several places only fixed one.. Never came back to fix the other leak.

They couldn't find the septic tank, so it was my job to locate it. They didn't come the day they said they would. When they came and uncovered the septic tank, they convinced me I had to do all kinds of extra work. What I expected to cost about $800-$1,000 cost almost $3,000.

I called Pink Plumber because my toilet was leaking and needed a new wax ring. They sent someone to provide a quote about 3.5 hours later. The dispatcher was not allowed to give any indication of what the cost might be; however, based on reading their other reviews on Angie's List for the same service, I expected to pay about $175. When the plumber, Rob, arrived he confirmed that I needed a new wax ring and quoted $375. I was shocked at the amount and asked how long it would take him to complete the work - he said 30 minutes max. A wax ring costs less than $10 retail, so Pink Plumber is essentially charging a rate of $750+ per hour. He immediately offered a $50 coupon/discount after he saw my initial reaction. I asked him if he thought it was reasonable to charge someone $375 for 20 minutes of his time and shrugged his shoulders. It was clear that he didn't care if he fixed it or not. I have a home warranty and have had horrible experiences trying to get them to fix items at my home. I purposely bypassed the warranty company this time to save myself the headache. I never thought Pink Plumber rates would be higher than the crooks my warranty company sends for repairs. I am appalled by this company and do not understand how they are still in business, unless their strategy is taking advantage of people in emergency situations. I called Pink Plumber back after Rob left my home and asked to speak with the on-call manager. I wanted to verify with someone else besides Rob that $375 was their standard rate for a quick wax ring replacement, as I have seen the on-call plumbers at other companies over-quote in order to get out of doing the work. I was told the on-call manager was unavailable and would call me tomorrow. I will update this review based on the information I receive. I think the most frustrating thing is that I had a personal reference for Pink Plumber from someone who uses them for repairs at a restaurant they manage - he said they had never been quoted anything even close to that amount, but he has noticed recently that they have tried to sneak additional charges onto their bills for things being "difficult to reach". He said they had never been charged for that in the past and that their stuff is no more difficult to reach than the other times they have used them.

the new drain, which should have cost between $250 and $350 was $688.99.. and the drain that was installed was the cheapest $11.00 one they sell at home depot. i had it removed and replaced. the valve replacement (i provided the valve) was 478.50 after much haggling on my part. these prices are WAY out of line. dont be fooled by the friendly voice unless money is no object!

Jim Franitza from Pink Plumber aka Aames Plumbing in Smyrna did a wonderful job re-piping my house! He was very careful and made sure he did as little damage to the drywall as possible. I really appreciate Jim's attention to detail in getting the job done. He also installed a new hot water heater and pressure reduction value.

We have used them twice in the past and everything seemed fine but we tried to have them come out recently and were stood up 2 times and then after we were rescheduled yet again, they called to say they were running behind...aka...they were not going to be showing up again! I hired another company and will never call them again.

They done very good. They're professional, cost wise I guess they're about average, it was outrageous. They came when I needed them. They put little booties on their feet when they come up stairs.

It went well, except the price I was quoted tripled or quadrupled because the septic tank was located in a part of the yard where the truck could not go, and under part of the owner's gravel path. I was put in the uncomfortable position of having to call my buyer and the seller and negotiate them splitting a bill much higher than anticipated. The guys did a great job though and actually spent time to re-rake the gravel path that was located over the septic -- it was part of the seller's certified Japanese garden and since my buyers did not own the property yet, it was important that it looked the same as we left it when they were done with the service.

Associate tried to charge an additional $995 because he said their were roots growing inside tank. Obviously technichian can't tell the difference between sludge and roots. Pink plumber advertises a great price to get your business then tries screw you out of hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Terrible experience - this company won;t give you an appointment time just an appointment window of 4 hours and will call you prior to the arrival of the plumber. I made an appointment last weekend and waited at home for a call, at 5pm I received a call telling me that they were unable to make the appointment. I tried again this weekend and again they can't make the 4 hour window that they gave me! Horrible service!

Over the phone, I heard $308 price so I authorized to do the repairs. But when job done, price came to $608.

The Pink Plumber, we used them and found they're most unsatisfactory. They were here last summer late June early July. The cost of service was $3000. They had to come back three times in order to get the work done properly. They were not at all nice. Which thinking you paid that amount of money, just to move some pipes, that they would be somewhat congenial which they were not. I would tell others that throughout the industry I have come to find out that they just don't seem to be trustworthy and their work does not seem to be that good. If they have to come out three times in order to go behind themselves because the work they did leaked and when I called the office to tell them after the first time, and they had been paid, and I called them and I said look it's leaking, the office were not at all nice. When I called the second time they were ugly. The third time it was almost like, look lady don't call us again. They were discourteous, they would not put on booties when they came into my home, they were as I said there office personnel was like are you calling me again?, you know, the problem was the pipe was leaking so I just can't say anything nice about them.

The plumber left the toilet anchor bolts exposed without resetting the covers plus yet another plumber found that one of the bolts was not properly secured. We contacted the provider's dispatch to request these be reset yet nobody followed-up to set the covers. We would have preferred leak detection equipment been available to eliminate unnecessary repairs.

My husband drilled through the drain pipe in the downstairs wall. Called Pink plumber and they had a plumber come out to fix it. I asked the plumber if it could be fixed with some type of patch he said no. He cut through the dry wall with permission and cut out the little section where it had the tiny hole. He put a black rubber tube around the drain pipe and 2 clamps. ALL DONE!!! GEE, but that's not a patch. Call them today and Dave finally called me back around 4:45. I asked him for it there was a corporate office and he stated yes me. I asked him about the service and that I did not agree with the fee for a PATCH that took less then 25 mins and he said no money back, no coupons nothing. He was rude and come to fine out through Angie's list he doesn't even own the place. NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL GO BROKE!!!!

They were expensive, but it wasn't anything more than the market rate. They were very professional.

Did not receive a quote until the technician arrived. Given a noon to 4 pm window so I remained home for the afternoon.. Technician arrived at 4:30 at which point I had guests at the house. I provided the faucets which came with everything necessary to install them. The quote for EACH install was: 346.00 (installation of faucet) PLUS 185.00 per faucet for "replumbing". When my mouth dropped, he stated how much time is involved (as opposed to installing a 4" centerspread). The replumbing consisted of 4 connections per sink. He then replaced a kit in the toilet which normally costs 50.00. We were charged 219.00 for what is itemized as a "toilet rebuild"! The total service time was less than 90 minutes and our final bill was 1281.00. We have called the office twice, one time leaving a message with the receptionist and one time leaving a voicemail. Noone has ever returned our call. This business is also named Aames Plumbing.

This provider offered a great deal on a new water heater on their website. Their plumber came out and installed the water heater and the price on the website was the price - no fees, upcharges, extra services, or anything. He was a nice guy, did a nice job, and there was no hassle or problem at all.

The work was a lot more than I expected it to be because it hadn’t been done for forever. It seemed like they did a really good job and everything works. I don’t really have anything to compare their price to. I always feel like I’ve been taken when I work with a plumber, nobody likes that when you don't know anything about it. I would probably use them again in the future.

After I called the morning of June 2 at 8 a.m. to schedule a same day service appointment for a leaky kitchen faucet, I was given a service appt. window of 3-7 p.m. I gave my cell number as a point of contact. I then made arrangements to leave work and wait for the appointment. Around 6 p.m. no one had showed up or called so I called to inquire on an update on the service appt. timeframe. I was then told weren?t going to get to me today. I'd have to reschedule. This is so frustrating as I can't take off another afternoon to wait for a repair, nor did they give me the courtesy of a call to let me know so I could make arrangements elsewhere. And, had I not called, I?d still be waiting. This is the exact opposite of customer service. I won?t be calling them again.

The good: This was for my 88 year old mother. Plumber arrived within predicted window and called ahead of time to confirm he was on his way. He was shown the leaking shutoff valve and was able to fix it. He also checked the other shutoff valve and checked both outside faucets. He asked to see the water heater. Verified that the expansion tank was in good shape (both water heater and expansion tank are about 3 years old). The bad: When he was looking at the water heater, he attempted to turn on a light, but nothing came on. The next morning my mother awoke to a 55 F house - the furnace wasn't working. I told her to check the power switch to the furnace, and it turns out that the plumber had turned off the furnace when he was checking for a light. She called the main office number and asked to speak with a manager. Three days later, there has been no response from the Pink Plumber. Hate to say it, but management seems not to care and the plumbers are careless.

Workman was competent and spent an hour and 5 minutes at my house. I was not at home as I had to be at work. I was not called to be told the price quote before the work was done. My mother, aged 81, visiting from South Africa, is not familiar with business in America did not think to ask about the cost. I object very strongly to the price of $573.16 for very minor repairs for an hour's work and two minor parts. THe bill actually statestat it was a minor repair to the toilet tank.
