Roof 911 Construction

All looked good until our AC stopped working. Roof 911 stapled through our AC lines in the attic when they installed our roof. They could have fixed this/paid for it/taken responsibility for it, but they refused to do so. Had to have our insurance pay for it. Additional problem, non-responsiveness. We're supposed to have a 10-year warranty on the roof, Several years after install a string of tiles fell off the roof. The insurance company sent out an inspector and determined that this set was installed incorrectly (they failed to nail it properly). An easy fix, inconvenient, but only about $100 worth of work. We called Roof 911 to see if they would honor their 10-year warranty. No can do. They did not even bother to return our calls. We will not use this company again.

The representative with whom I spoke was interested only in the dollar estimate given by the insurance adjuster some months before. Although actual measurement from a satellite photo showed a larger roof than the adjuster had estimated, the representative was not interested in obtaining the photo or speaking with the adjuster unless I signed a contract first. He said that was "company policy." I even offered to pay the $40 for the photo myself. I called him after I had hired another company to tell him that Roof 911 would not be getting my business and to let him know that he had blown a $12,000 job over a $40 investment he was unwilling to make. He made a rude remark and said he didn't need my business. The whole experience left a very bad taste in my mouth.

They told me that I did not need a new roof, and my insurance company disagreed, as did the other roofing companies I consulted. They were recommended by my neighbor, but I would not consider using them.
