In short, Jason gave great lip service, but there is always "another job" that he has to get done - and my house always got pushed...even though when he started he said my house was going to be his "showpiece". 1) Jason does not come when he says he is going to...there is always another more important job to be finished. 2) Jason told me the store was closed on a Saturday where he could buy the materials i pre-paid for a week earlier, and i called and discovered they were open. 3) Jason killed grass on my property without my permission because he didnt want to cut it, with the promise of free mulch that never got put down. Jason started off great- albeit his price was initially 4 times higher than others, he wanted our business and worked to get there. His work started well - a little too aggressive on some pruning - but otherwise, the first 2 months were fine. It started to go downhill when Jason asked for payment upfront for mulch and pinestraw material b/c his business could not afford to purchase the materials and wait ($500 of material cost). However, it took about 2 weeks before he finally came back and mulched - then was short, and i had to purchase additonal materials. After that, he began to complain to my wife about having to trim along our fence line and around our playground (both there when he quoted the job) - he wanted to kill the grass and have us pay to install mulch to make it easier for him - we told him no. Then grass in our side yard suddendly died - Jason said he killed it because he didnt want to cut it, but was going to provide "free mulch". After 2 months, i never received the mulch, and the grass is still dead. During this time, our grass developed a fungus - jason told me he needed $100 pre-payment to treat it. I immediately wrote a check, with his promise he would spray it the next day. For 5 days i got put off. Then on Saturday, he told me the John Deere landscape store was closed and he couldnt get the material till Monday. I called and John Deere was open, at which time i told him he needed to go get the material. More and more, i was getting texts from Jason on my service days saying he was "busy on another project" and would have to come the next day...the problem is this drags on for 3 or 4 days at which point i had to insist that he come. In the meantime, i am PRE-PAYING for weekly service - and he is always trying to not cut my grass or do other trimming. I have terminated his service and found another provider.
Description of Work: Operation landscape provided lawncare at my house for approximately 4 months - was responsible for weekly cutting, edging, pruning, chemicals, etc. Also added additional services such as mulch, pinestraw and plantings.
