+ -1 moreHad passed this little store several times (not in my neighborhood but near where my son lives) and finally decided to take in my PC to find solution to A drive (I had just purchased a new printer and my son was unable to install program.) Not exactly a Best Buy setting. Quite small shop but Stein (spg?) was most helpful. When I first left my PC, he quoted a diagnostic charge of $35 and another $75 to replace the A drive. But the next day he called to say it couldn't be fixed (problem was with the mother board) and at that point it wasn't worth the cost to fix it. However, when I told him I had a new printer and was frustrated not being to print my work, he asked me to bring in the printer. He was able to not only manually install the printer program but cleaned up some of the stuff that was slowing my computer. When he gave me the bill, it was only $35 and despite my insistance that I pay him according to the work he did he refused. I"m not a computer expert so I don't know if the charges are within what other places charge but I was very pleased with Stein. I found him to be sincere and definitely the kind of person who works to find a solution. I recommended him to my son if he has any problems in the future.
Description of Work: Took my computer for diagnostic check to see why A drive wasn't working. Checked computer and found problem with mother board and was unable to install a new A drive. However, he did clean up my computer and managed to manually install my new printer.

+ -1 moreThe computer is doing the same as it was when I took it in. The only difference is my screen saver and my icons. I do not think he did a good job.
Description of Work: My computer was freezing up and then did not want to boot up, or turn off. I paid them $120 to fix it.
