Greg and his crew were very professional from start to finish. Price was very competitive compared with other local companies. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future

Of all the 3 different people I called before I chose him, he was prompt in calling me back or at least leaving me a message saying I will get in touch with you. He came out and his price was very reasonable, it was more reasonable than the others. We're senior citizens so he not only took the Angie's List special deal but he also took a senior citizen price. When I asked him about the extra branches, he said no problem. He was really nice.

Good value. Did what they said - no issues. Did not hurt my lawn and took care to clean up well. Very efficient and professional.

I called the company on Tuesday (10/1/13) and spoke briefly with the owner who agreed to call back and set up a time for an estimate, which he did on Wednesday. He came to the house on Thursday and we discussed what I wanted done and his thoughts on the property. We agreed to a price and he and his crew showed up when he said they would on Saturday morning. The work was completed, including clean up, before noon. Since his company doesn't do stump removal, he arranged for another company to handle that (at an additional relatively low fee that was disclosed and approved at the time of the original estimate) and it was completed this morning (Tuesday). All in all, everything I wanted done was completed to my satisfaction in less than a week, and at a fair price. The entire crew was professional, thorough, and courteous.

First off I should praise Greg for being able to get to me so quickly once I had chosen his team for this job. They were able to get this job done for me within 24 to 48 hours of my call. The 13 year old Problem Oak Tree in my front yard was buckling my driveway and only feet from 2 water meters, the streets main telephone line box, and in danger of falling on my home. This tree was to large for the space it was planted in by builder and a possible danger of falling on my home in storms. This tree had to be carefully removed due to all the water, sewer, and underground lines all around it not to mention my driveway that was only 2 feet away. Greg's Team from Bear Tree were great professionals and carefully disected this tree piece by small piece without damaging any of the obstacles near this tree. They ground the stump to below ground level as requested to meet my associations requirement for the tree removal. Bear Tree also cut down one dead pine tree from my backyard. I had one pine tree that had already fallen so Bear Tree removed and ground all 3 of these large trees. They cleaned up my yard very nicely. They were a pleasure to do business with and I would call on Greg again should I need tree's removed. Many thanks to Greg and Crew.

It took several phone calls to get them to come out to give me a quote, but to be fair they were inundated with emergency calls from the record rainfall this summer and our case was not an emergency so I understood. Once he did come out though, his price was slightly lower than average vs. other quotes I had recieved. He claimed he was giving us a great deal because we were so patient with the multiple calls, but it didn't strike me as insanely cheap. That being said, they did a fantastic job that was well worth the money spent. I do wish he had taken down one more limb from the sweet gum tree, because it sticks out over the roof of my house (albeit 25-30 feet above my roof), but I was not home while the work was being done and had I been there, I'm sure they would've taken that limb down for me.

We called Greg for an estimate and he came out within a few days. He walked around the yard and showed us a few other trees that probably should come down. No pressure, he just saw some dead trees we had not seen. A time was scheduled for the trees to come down....Greg and the workers arrived at the exact time they had said....815a on a Sat. All of the work was done within a short amount of time, the wood cut into useable pieces and stacked neatly. The limbs not stacked were shreddded and the driveway cleaned/ blown of any debris. ONe of the guys even blew out the garage for us. While they were working, one of our neighbors came over to talk with Greg about having a few trees removed. Upon finishing our tree removal, they went over to his house and did work for him. I would highly recommend Greg and his company for any tree removal,

We were new to the area and luckily found this company on Angie's list. I cannot say how wonderful this company is. They were not only on time, finished early, worked very hard, and did excellent work, but their prices with the best around. It was truly amazing to watch a man climb up a tree over 150 feet in the air. It was like a ballet. They did everything on the quote and a more! On top of that I felt very good knowing that the trees were going to be recycled for mulch and not just thrown into a dump. Thank you little Bear! You were amazing! We will definitely call you again when we need tree help! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone.

Had 3 large [90-100 ft] sweetgum, 1 pine ,and 1 oak tree too close to the house. Greg and his crew showed up on-time and went to work. Watching them take down these trees was fascinating. Everything was controlled with ropes strung through other trees. Limbs and tree trunks were lowered to the ground safely. I was expecting collateral damage to surrounding landscape and was pleasantly surprised how little [almost none] damage was done. They finished by thoroughly cleaning up. These guys are highly-skilled experts and I will call them again.

I first used little bear's service for my rental property, about 2 months ago and then for my home last week. I was and am very pleased with their service. The owner Gregg is great! He was very reasonable and cheaper then two other estimates with the first job, and I was so happy that I didn't even get other estimates for the second job. Gregg gave me great advice, was always on time, and the job(s) always exceeded my expectations. His men do a wonderful clean-up along with hauling away everything cut down. .They were prompt and on time at the time they promised. Went to work right away. The gentleman that climbed the tree and cut limbs and then topped the tree was an artist. All the crew was busy and continuisly cleaned up as they went. They cut down two additional trees at no change in price. They blew off, raked up and cleaned everything after they were done

ALL aspects of the job involved - cutting, tree topping, and removal were completed in a very expeditious manner and the final cleanup was most noteworthy!

The owner, Greg Snyder, was a pleasure to work with. We had to postpone the removal because of some medical issues and he was very responsive, returned calls quickly and scheduled the removal at our convenience. He showed up on time, as did his crew of six. Everyone in the crew was wonderful. They were careful about removing the tree from the bridge and hand carried all the debris to a chipper and truck. Greg and his entire crew listened and acted on all our concerns. The cleanup was amazing. They took every piece of debris, raked and then blew off the yard, the bridge and the driveway. We used them several years ago before we joined Angie's List and would highly recommend them to anyone. We will definitely be using them again. These days it's hard to find companies who truly care about customers, are fair and genuinely enjoy their work. Little Bear is an exception. Greg clearly loves his job and his crew has been with him for a long time. It was a pleasure to have them.

Greg was very polite, puntual, and helpful. The work crew was polite, woeked very hard and finished the job in a timely manner. They cleaned up and left the area looking great. We have recommended them to neighbors and we would definitely use them again in the future.

Met Greg, discussed the trees, the one in the backyard was huge, it had moved while we were on vacation and was leaning a bit more toward our neighbors house. Greg said the tree had cracks in the base too so it had to go. Tree in the front was a fir that started to push the roof up and we had already had rats in the attic as a result. Greg gave me a great price. We called him booked a day for them to come and od the work, they showed up AN HOUR EARLY unheard of, his crew were gone by 1pm quick, efficient, you would not have known they had ever been here expect for the sawdust and the trees being gone. They wood chipped what they could and hauled away on the spot the tree trunks, cleaned up afterwards and Greg came back and walked the site to make sure we were happy. Outstanding job, would recommend Little Bear Tree Service to anyone. Thanks Greg!

Greg Snyder did the estimate himself. He was very professional and clearly knew a great deal about trees and their care. I was debating how to proceed: which trees to prune and save and which to remove. Greg patiently discussed the issues until I was confident I was making the right decisions. Unfortunately, other factors unrelated to the hemlocks required me to change the scope of the project, and did not use Little Bear Tree Service. I was impressed, however, and would not hesitate to recommend calling them if you are contemplating tree work.

Overall, the service performed was exactly how you would want it to go. There were no problems as this team knows their stuff! Very good, hard workers and very clean and neat. Everything looks so nice now.

This tree service kept me informed of when and where they would show up for the estimate and to do the work. They were prompt, courteous, hard working, and professional. The price was very reasonable. There was a cable service line hidden in the ivy in my yard which accidentally got cut. The foreman got right to work and made a temporary repair but they informed me of what had happened and advised me to call the cable company. They did a good job of cleaning up when finished. The owner kept an eye o the job all the time. I highly recommend this company. .

Little Bear brought a crew of five men to do the work. I've never seen people work harder than this crew! They removed all eleven trees, cleaned up the debris and hauled it away in less than a day. My yard was cleaner when they left than it was when they arrived. No damages of any kind. Do compare prices for this type of work and understand exactly what they will be doing and how they will do it. Little Bear's price for the work was fair and worth every penny.
