Hired JCS to paint the exterior of my Dryvit stucco home. JCS came back to me for additional money for additional paint and I gave it to them. The completed paint job was uneven and pock marked. I had the representative of Sherwin Williams, where JCS bought the paint, come out to my house to look at it and he told me that JCS shorted the amount of paint by 20 gallons - JCS bought 45 gallons, the job called for 65 gallons. JCS promised to make it right but I have never heard back from them. Very bad experience. JCS was in association with Atlanta Best Pressure Washing who also refused to make it right. David, the principal at JCS, told me that one reason he could not make it right was because he had paid a $600 commission to Atlanta Best Pressure Washing, who did no work at the house.
Description of Work: JCS spray painted my stucco home.

Response from JCS Painting
Sorry about what happened, my answer for this is Sherwin Williams of course they will said not my fault, and then all responsibility it is on the contractor. Im sure we apply necessary paint to surface. This house is a stucco , never been painted in 20 years and pressure wash was done almost every year by someone else and that is wrong, with out a coat of paint protecting the surface. Before we stared the job, a lot parts on house was damage by pressure washing several times, and also by fair/poor condition on the stucco. i'd showed it from the beginning to the customer, like i do the explaining to every customer before we start any job. I consider myself a person of experience. At the middle of the job, we showed the owner the problem of the sand of the stucco coming down. He asked me if will be ok, i told him was too much coming down, but was nothing to do about it, cause was necessary the coat. When we done everything was nice. 3 months later all that start showing up, little sand keep falling, i did explain the solution was a second coat, i explain the problem was cause house never been paint before. Customer wanted me to repaint entire house for free and he would help me with the paint. We didn't a bad job, house have issues, i have a big list of houses with stucco, the id painted before, and everything is good.
