Amazon Cleaning LLC

I first got acquainted with Amazon Cleaning through a coupon on Angie's List. I called and had them come to my house for a "deep" cleaning. When they left the house was spotless. When my husband got sick and I was recovering from surgery, we decided that cleaning the house was one thing we could let someone else do. I called and talked with them. They had my information readily available and quoted me a price right away that was very reasonable. I set up with them that the team, which is the same each visit, would come to our home every other Wednesday. The first visit was another deep cleaning. Since then they have come every other week and the house looks great. Twice I have had to call them because I would not be home at the appointed time. They were very responsive and helped my make arrangements to let the team in. After a couple of visits, one of their inspectors came out and toured the house to check on the team's work -- whether there was anything else I needed or wanted and whether it was up to their standards. I am very pleased with this company and the job they do.

I was generally pleased, but not thrilled, with the results of the deep clean. A few of the cabinets and furniture legs were not wiped and the service person who cleaned the shower with a bleach solution proceeded to walk on my oriental rug without drying his shoes. At the end, the service people wanted me to rate them by giving them 1 to 5 stars, in their presence. A procedure which I found very awkward.The worst part of all was when the Amazon office called to ask me how the experience went. When I told the representative that the experience had been good but not great, he got very defensive. I told him that the cleaners had done a decent job and that I would be willing to give them another chance and even consider a long term relationship. He curtly said that they were not interested in my business because it was obvious that I was not totally satisfied. I suspect that Amazon only wants to hear positive comments and therefore only interested in clients who accept their first effort.

Amazon has been cleaning my home monthly for almost 5 years. They are very detail oriented, trustworthy and always on time when they set the monthly appointment.

The cleaning crew is very nice, responsive and do a good job. There have been two minor glitches, one of which was a mistake on my part, that were taken care of after a call to the office. The crew concentrates on the particular areas I desire to have extra attention (bathroom/kitchen). They're pet friendly and let the dog in and out of the house while they're cleaning.

I am a very satisfied customer and will return to Amazon the next time I need to turn the property around for a new renter. Thanks Amazon Team!

I contacted Amazon after learning about them on Angie's List. My hope was to begin a long-term relationship that would result in their cleaning my house every two weeks. They did the usual sales pitch of saying they needed to do a "deep clean" for the initial cleaning. This is standard and our house needed it so I said okay. They gave me a "special" rate and when the gentleman came to do the walk-through - prior to the cleaning - I asked very specific questions about what would or would not be done (would rugs be moved to mop? will baseboards be cleaned?, etc). Suffice it to say even the most basic things promised were not done - baseboards were not cleaned, rugs were not moved and swept under, even two rolling toys we have out for our toddler were not moved and swept/mopped under - corners were left untouched. Amazon also asks you to rate your service so with the housekeeper standing in front of you, you have to rate them with number of stars. Awkward! They were very nice people but I was disappointed in how the cleaning was done. I told them up front I am very loyal but very picky. Funniest part to me was when I called to talk to someone about the difference between the cleaning promised and the cleaning done, they basically told me they would refund a portion of my expense and made it clear they didn't want my business. I was willing to give another chance but they didn't want it. Fair enough...we clearly aren't a good fit. If you are laid back and don't care about the details, you will probably be happy with them. If you're like me, though, and want the details attended to, you may be frustrated. They did refund a portion of what I paid so I only paid the cost for a basic cleaning. Considering I spent an hour sweeping and mopping the places they didn't, I think that was more than fair.

Everything has gone smoothly every time they've been out. This a great company and they do a great job!

I would have given a higher mark but there were areas in the oven that I had to 'touch-up' myself.

Awesome, they even refolded all the towels in my guest bath.

Called to setup an appointment. Very friendly and professional. Started on time and finished on time. Gave the condo the sparkling glow it needed!

This was my 1st time hiring/using a housecleaning service so I did a little research by reading reviews and comparing offers of several companies. A common complaint I noticed was that after the initial visit/cleaning, the level of detail and satification dropped off on furture cleaning. I purposely waited to see how my second appoint went before I posted this review. I was very happy to see the attention to detail, courtesy, punctuality, and professionalism was same as the 1st visit. I would be very comfortable recommending Amazon to any of my friends.

They do a good job. They are a little high but they do what we need them to do.

They do a great job overall and the price is great. The people are friendly,nice, and trustworthy. They are pet friendly and will even let my dog out mid-day while they are there. The owner Jerry will handle any special requests and he is alway very responsive and available. Would recommend to anyone looking for a housecleaning service.

Amazon is great! They do a wonderful job of cleaning. I have gone through about 5 cleaning services in the past 7 years and am finally satisfied. The entire house is cleaned very thoroughly. They also send an email reminder about 3 days before my monthly service and call the day before with a recorded message for an additional reminder. And they have supervisors that do random spot checks before the workers leave the house. The rates are very good. Overall, the experience with this company is exceptional.

Our cleaning crew from Amazon is very good, but not exceptional. The management at Amazon is much more professional than I've seen in a cleaning service. I appreciate that they do a good job of communicating with me, of keeping the same crew coming every week, and of working with me for special requests. We've had other companies do the job cheaper, but one of them wound up robbing us of some irreplaceable family jewelry and neither company could keep the same crew coming each time. We've also had an exceptional crew once from another company, but they stopped working with the company we were using and we were never happy with the crews we got after that. We're happy now, and plan to continue using Amazon.

Amazon cleaning did a fantastic job. They arrived on time, were both pleasant and professional, and left the place looking great. They cleaned up everything I expected them too, and several things I hadn't thought to ask them about.

Called to get estimate. The owner, who is very customer-oriented and wonderfully proactive, came by the next day and we arranged the first cleaning the following day and biweekly thereafter. We have been very happy with results.

They did an okay job. We had a difference in opinion. I would not use them again.

On April 12, 2011 I extracted the company Amazon Cleaning from Angie's List and called them for a quote. the main reason for choosing them was their close proximity to our rental house. I spoke to 'Jerry' who had me go over their website whilst talking, to specifically choose items of work to be performed applicable to our requirements. these items ARE specific. I explained that the house was empty, and when asked what the conditions were like, I further explained from the point of view that the house had been freshly painted inside, the kitchen floor freshly sanded and with polyurethane, windows painted and repaired on the exterior but not designed to open, NO FURNITURE, that the condition was good. (pictures to support). i further informed him of the size of the house, and no. of windows to be cleaned. i was in agreement with their quote. On April 13, the following day, after showing their staff around the house, and after their complaints that the job would take an hour longer, i confirmed with Jerry on the telephone, that the house WAS in good condition and whilst i disagreed that the work would take a further hour, not to mention we had an agreement, we both agreed to add on an extra $30.00. HOWEVER, after mentioning that the owner of the house would do a thorough inspection, his response was that he would prefer to pull off his staff from the site immediately. i was naturally disappointed in his lack of professionalism, and when i mentioned i would not be giving a favorable report, he put the phone down whilst i was still speaking. i then received another call on "voice mail" from Jerry challenging me that they had pictures of the interior (even though he had not seen them yet) and if there was any slandering of their company, they would resort to in house legal representation. i find it most interesting that they would opt to take their cleaning staff's word, including pictures they had not yet seen, without giving a new customer the benefit of the doubt. SHAME ON THEM!!! PS how does one interpret the state of 'condition', unless a company makes the effort to meet with the customer on site. if not, it leaves a gray area.... contract or not!!

Amazon Cleaning does good work. They show up on time and clean in a timely fashion.

*NOT* pet friendly despite charging us extra for having pets. Started off with a a great crew and they did an amazing job. Then we got a new cleaning crew and it went down hill quickly. Jerry told me to call when I had issues, who wants to call every week. The issues were obvious, the crew must have been blind to have missed cleaning the couch which is right in front of the front door. There was even a manager spot check but the manager didn't see the dirt on the bath tub or the dirt streak on my bathroom floor. My favorite was that they refused to clean the entire house because my cat had a small hairball on the floor. I ended up having to clean the house myself every time they came. Don't bother if you have pets.
