+ -1 moreMr. Hughes was referred to us after we had waited for over three weeks to hear from another cabinet maker. Once we contacted him, he immediately came to our home to meet with us about our project. He made several helpful suggestions that we had not considered. His input helped the finished project be very useable and beneficial for our needs We were invited to visit his shop to look at completed samples of his work. Even though his shop was not large, it was extremely well-organized, clean, and showed that he took much pride in his work.
Description of Work: Mr. Hughes designed a kitchen island as part of a renovation project. The island had to accommodate an oven and provide storage, additional outlets, and a table-level eating surface. He also modified a cabinet area into a pantry which has pull-out drawers. He used existing pieces of wood from the kitchen to design and build doors for the pantry. These doors were matched perfectly to the cabinets. Mr. Hughes was very professional, helpful, punctual, and easy to work with. He also called before he came by to make measurements or to install the island and pantry. He completed the project exactly when he said it would be finished. The quality of his work is exact; he used top quality hardware and finishes. We were very pleased with his performance on our kitchen renovation.
